GEFIRA: Western Media “Are Either Delusional Or Lying Through Their Teeth”

The collective post-West has been running amok for the last two weeks. The powers that be make believe that they did not expect that events would unfold the way they are unfolding now (though they did their best to make things happen as they are happening) and they make a show imposing sanctions on the aggressor and assuring the populace that the aggressor sooner or later will cave in. There is yet a third aspect to the phenomenon: the same powers that be want the people to forget that merely twenty years back they themselves assaulted Yugoslavia/Serbia, used missiles with depleted uranium, bombed cities and shot at civilians. Of course, that earlier event was a humanitarian action while the current one is a brutal act of aggression, but we digress.

CANTIN-NANTEL: I went to Carleton’s “Journalism Under Siege” event, and the legacy media know they’re flawed

Carleton University’s School of Journalism held a panel discussion with members of the legacy media on Tuesday to discuss their role in covering what the school called “the siege of Ottawa” by “the so-called freedom convoy.”

Before it even took place, the event received backlash online for its biased tone and the apparent exclusion of independent and right-of-centre journalists.

Canadian Media Cover-Up International Condemnation Of Justin Trudeau

From objective news reporting to media protectionism for the prime minister. This is what $600 Million bought Justin Trudeau for the goal of twisting public perception.

While numerous reports from the United Kingdom are branding Trudeau a fake and fraud, legacy media in Canada continue to believe they are fooling our general population.

Physicians who spread misinformation may be eroding trust in health care system, experts say

A small number of physicians in Canada are spreading misinformation and unscientific views about COVID-19, a trend experts say could undermine the response to the pandemic and erode trust in public officials and institutions.

Medical regulators are under pressure to crack down on physicians and other health professionals who say false or misleading things or prescribe unproven treatments.

The federal government paid hundreds of media companies to advertise the COVID-19 vaccines while those same outlets provided positive coverage of the vaccines

In response to a FOIA request filed by TheBlaze, HHS revealed that it purchased advertising from major news networks including ABC, CBS, and NBC, as well as cable TV news stations Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations. These outlets were collectively responsible for publishing countless articles and video segments regarding the vaccine that were nearly uniformly positive about the vaccine in terms of both its efficacy and safety.

Everything is a lie. We are subjects, soon to become slaves. Don’t believe a word from the MSM or politicians or anyone they can control.

As Biden Leads Free World Against Putin, Trump Equivocates

It is rare that a president can show he is living up to the mantle of “leader of the free world” — and even less common for him to do so against the backdrop of his main political rival praising an autocrat.

But that’s what President Joe Biden did during his first State of the Union address, highlighting how he has led the Western world in defending Ukraine against Russia’s invasion.

Journalists Are Finding When They Spit On The People The People Spit On Them

People’s only way to see the outside world was through the media. Journalists were supposed to deliver the news to those who couldn’t get out and get it themselves. Journalism became the repository of ideologues with agendas.

The news became propaganda and no longer was the news. Different citizens started to take up the torch, filling in the holes left by the biased left media. The internet made it possible for citizen journalists to be more trusted than those who were working as journalists.

The journalists were not taught a lesson by this. News media increased their propaganda and began to treat people they delivered the news to with contempt. They attempted to shut down those who challenged them and ruin those whom they didn’t like. They made fun of the people to whom they were supposed [to] deliver information.

Authoritarianism, Media Propaganda & Repression in Canada

In Canada last week, Trudeau set a historic precedent by declaring a National Emergency on dubious grounds. This act has existed for 34 years without once being invoked, and now the Trudeau government is wielding it as a cudgel against one of the most organized displays of civil disobedience in Canadian history.

“Canada does not want to see itself this way”

The New York Times reported last weekend that police in Ottawa had arrested protesters at gunpoint, a claim that was quickly challenged and denounced by prominent Canadian journalists.

“This is wrong,” tweeted freelance reporter Justin Ling, who had been covering the police action from Ottawa. CBC News TV host Ginella Massa called the Times headline “false and incredibly dangerous rhetoric” and CBC radio host Piya Chattopadhyay asked “where are you getting this bs from?”.
