Later, perhaps hearing Dion singing inside his head, he wandered away from other world leaders observing a skydiving demonstration before Meloni corralled him.

On Tuesday, shortly after his son Hunter was found guilty of breaking federal gun laws, Joe Biden stood in front of a pro-gun-control group, buttressing his anti-gun position with phony credentials.

Biden is operating as a stand-in, a widget, or a MacGuffin, whose primary purpose is to make it to November 5 of this year without expiring.
In life, as in science, it can be useful to extrapolate, and here, in the summer of 2024, it comes time to do just that. It is by now near-universally acknowledged that Joe Biden is too old to perform his duties. It is less universally acknowledged that this has serious implications — the chief among which is that, for all the rococo pageantry that attends his reelection campaign, Joe Biden is not, in fact, running to be president of the United States.

Time is running out for Biden to save his campaign.
President Biden “shows signs of slipping,” the Wall Street Journal reported this week. Journalists Annie Linskey and Siobhan Hughes — no conservatives — spoke to 45 people who have met with the president and noticed his mental and physical decline. They recount, in detail, several meetings over the past year where Biden has been forgetful, confused, and out of it. The president, Linskey and Hughes report, “appears slower now, someone who has both good moments and bad ones.”
Just because something is plausible, doesn’t mean it’s true. (Consider the books of Edward Klein.) But it’s hard not to look at the fly-on-the-wall description in the Wall Street Journal story that has D.C. Dems mad and view it as exactly the way that things are in the White House.

Where is Dandy Don Meredith when we need him? Someone should be singing, “Turn out the lights, the party’s over,” because Joe Biden’s presidency must end. His appearance at the D-Day commemoration at Normandy was certainly the final proof that he cannot continue no matter how hard his staff tries to hold him up.
The American press gave Biden a pass, but the Brits were under no pressure from a vengeful deep state to toe any line.
