Confused Biden walks into flag then appears to anger Brazilian prez with handshake snub at UN

President Biden talks to flags at UN

President Biden looked confused again Wednesday as he walked into a giant flag at the United Nations — then appeared to anger Brazil’s president by walking off stage without shaking his hand.

The gaffe-prone oldest US president in history walked into the seven-foot-tall Brazilian flag as he took the stage, taking a moment to get his bearings as the flag wobbled.

Poll shows Biden, 80, losing to Trump, Nikki Haley AND Tim Scott – as party members say his ‘death is imminent’

The majority of American voters are still highly concerned about Joe Biden’s age and mental fitness, a new poll reveals.

Additionally, the Harvard HarrisX Poll released this week shows that three GOP candidates would beat the president in a hypothetical general election – former President Donald Trump, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.

While most polls, including the most recent, show Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in second place to Trump, he surprisingly does not beat out Biden in a head-to-head matchup.

Ouch! Joe Biden gets scorched in Quinnipiac poll

If I were Joe Biden’s chief handler or even one of his hangers-on, I would be in talks with MSNBC about getting a gig as a political analyst.

Why?

The latest poll numbers look pretty scary for Joe Biden, begging the question of whether even the Democrats could scrape together enough ballots through nefarious means to carry him across the finish line.

‘Every’ Democrat agrees Biden is ‘too old to run’ for re-election: MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough

“Every” Democrat MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has spoken to privately says President Joe Biden is too old to run for re-election, the “Morning Joe” host said Wednesday.

Scarborough made the revelation during a discussion with Washington Post foreign affairs columnist David Ignatius about his recent editorial calling on the 80-year-old president to not run in 2024 — an opinion also shared by three-quarters of Americans and two-thirds of left-wing voters.

President Biden should not run again in 2024

… Biden would carry two big liabilities into a 2024 campaign. He would be 82 when he began a second term. According to a recent Associated Press-NORC poll, 77 percent of the public, including 69 percent of Democrats, think he’s too old to be effective for four more years. Biden’s age isn’t just a Fox News trope; it’s been the subject of dinner-table conversations across America this summer.

Reporter calls out Biden’s frequent misstatements at White House briefing: ‘What is going on with the president?’

White House National Security Council John Kirby dodged a question about President Biden’s frequent factual embellishments after the commander-in-chief falsely claimed this week to have been at Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 attacks.

“The president has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the Sept. 11 attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the president? Is he just believing things that didn’t happen did happen, or is he just randomly making stuff up?” Washington Times reporter Jeff Mordock pointedly asked Kirby in a jaw-dropping moment during Wednesday’s White House press briefing.

Joe Biden’s global G20 embarrassment

What time is it? A bit like the emperor Domitian, Joe Biden seems confused about the time. Warned by an omen that his death would come at midday, Domitian daily pestered people around him with that question, relaxing only after the dreaded hour had passed.

Alas, his caution availed him not. One day in September 96 AD, a treacherous servant lied to Domitian about the time, inducing him to let down his guard. A knife-wielding steward did the rest.

No, the Press Is Not ‘Tougher’ on Biden Than He ‘Deserves’

President Joe Biden had an uncharacteristically self-aware moment in 2022.

As we learn from Franklin Foer, an Atlantic staff writer whose new book is The Last Politician: Inside Joe Biden’s White House and the Struggle for America’s Future, the moment came not long after the president casually endorsed regime change in Russia. During a speech in Poland, Biden remarked that, “for God’s sake, [Putin] cannot remain in power.” The White House was swift to walk back the unscripted comment, much to Biden’s reported chagrin.

The Media Belatedly Discover Biden’s Age Problem

Democrats are now stuck with the declining president, but they didn’t have to be.

Last Friday’s Washington Week with The Atlantic on PBS might as well have been broadcast a year ago — a time when the press was still dedicated to debunking the notion that President Joe Biden was anything other than fit, cogent, and capable.

Why is it that no one brings up Donald Trump’s age as a demerit against his candidacy, Politico’s Kyle Cheney asked rhetorically. When pressed to answer his own question, he blamed the “years of concerted effort” by Republicans to inject into the public consciousness a narrative “weaponizing Biden’s age against him.” Though Cheney did allow that Trump has “a different demeanor” about him, the Atlantic’s Mark Leibovich went a step further in his condemnation of the GOP. “It’s not just making an issue of Biden’s age, it’s lying,” he added. “It’s saying he’s senile, saying he’s demented, saying he’s out of it.” “Right,” the magazine’s editor in chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, concurred. “Mentally, he’s quite acute.”

There Is No Secret, Better, Energetic Biden Behind the Scenes

I don’t want to pooh-pooh Franklin Foer’s new book, The Last Politician: Inside Joe Biden’s White House and the Struggle for America’s Futureuntil I’ve read it. But let’s just say I’m not surprised that books about Joe Biden aren’t selling well. Biden has been a well-known figure on the political scene since the 1980s. Never mind his nearly four decades in the Senate; a child born when Barack Obama picked Biden to be his running mate in 2008 is now old enough to be on the verge of getting his learner’s permit in most states.

Joe Biden’s Age Will Be An Issue in 2024

Associated Press reporters were blunt about their latest poll: “Americans actually agree on something in this time of raw discord: Joe Biden is too old to be an effective president in a second term.”

In the poll, fully 77 percent said Biden is too old to be effective for four more years, as he would turn 86 in the White House. Naturally, 89 percent of Republicans agreed – but so did 69 percent of Democrats and most importantly for the general election, 74 percent of independents.

Joe Biden Isn’t Going to Be the Democratic Nominee

The growing Joe Biden–Hunter Biden influence-peddling and corruption scandal has surprised me. Not, I should be clear, because I thought that Joseph R. Biden — the lifelong pol and Democratic Party hack — was clean as a whistle; I’m surprised the story has developed the way that it has because I have long thought that any truly damning evidence of the scandal would be buried under a mountain of indifference on the part of the mainstream press and by a Biden Department of Justice patently uninterested in looking into the facts.

Media Suddenly Okay With Mass Purge of ‘Hard Pass’ Access for Reporters

One of the big media crusades during the Trump administration was the battle over the ‘hard passes’ for misbehaving reporters like CNN’s Jim Acosta and the correspondent for Playboy. Handing out hard passes to everyone, including Playboy, was a fundamental freedom of the press issue, and courts reinstated hard passes for reporters who had them suspended.

Biden Discovers Most Black People Aren’t Really Black

In 2020, Biden snapped to the host of a black radio show, “Well I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

The host had wanted him to stay and answer more questions and Biden curtly dismissed the idea that there were any more questions to ask. Any black person who didn’t already support him wasn’t black. But, according to Biden, it turns out most black people may not be black.
