Former MI6 agent Christopher Steele said during a preview of an ABC News interview that aired on Sunday that he stood behind the controversial “Steele Dossier” that examined possible links between former President Trump and Russia.
The interview will be featured in a Hulu documentary, “Out of the Shadows: The Man Behind the Steele Dossier.”
When a population is placed in a state of sufficiently grave fear and anger regarding a perceived threat, concerns about the constitutionality, legality and morality of measures adopted in the name of punishing the enemy typically disappear. The first priority, indeed the sole priority, is to crush the threat. Questions about the legality of actions ostensibly undertaken against the guilty parties are brushed aside as trivial annoyances at best, or, worse, castigated as efforts to sympathize with and protect those responsible for the danger. When a population is subsumed with pulsating fear and rage, there is little patience for seemingly abstract quibbles about legality or ethics. The craving for punishment, for vengeance, for protection, is visceral and thus easily drowns out cerebral or rational impediments to satiating those primal impulses.
“We have never had a period in our history when 40, 45% of the people in our country have said, ‘Oh, yeah, I’ll go along with this psychopath. I’ll go along with this sociopath.’ We need to be looking at these facts, as well as the coup and what this individual did. We need to look at why are our people, so many of our people, following this sociopathic undermining of our democracy? It’s extraordinary,” Bernstein said.

In fact, at the same time as the alleged DNC hack, there were similar reports regarding the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (“DCCC”) server as well as DNC Chairman John Podesta’s personal email devices.

Of the many positions Kash Patel held during Trump’s presidency, his most important was as an aide to Devin Nunes when the latter worked doggedly to reveal that the Democrats’ Russiagate charges were a hoax coming from the Democrat party—specifically, from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Given Patel’s insider’s knowledge of events, it means something when he appears on Maria Bartiromo’s Fox show on Sunday mornings and says that he believes that Special Prosecutor John Durham is on the verge of issuing some serious indictments against big players in the Russia hoax.

That is the fallout from special counsel John Durham’s indictment of Democratic attorney Michael Sussmann, and of the related reports that the prosecutor has subpoenaed additional information from Sussmann’s former firm Perkins Coie, the lawyers for the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
Former President Trump has asked a federal judge in Florida to force Twitter to restore his account, arguing the company improperly suspended him after receiving pressure from members of Congress.
Twitter “exercises a degree of power and control over political discourse in this country that is immeasurable, historically unprecedented, and profoundly dangerous to open democratic debate,” the Friday filing read, Bloomberg reported.
It may be de rigueur in modern political America for a president entering the White House to alter policies of his predecessor for no other reason than the policies aren’t his, but Joe Biden is attacking the policies of Donald Trump on immigration and border security with particular relish, reflecting the bloodlust of his radical left supporters against any and all things Trump.
“The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) has initiated a command investigation regarding LCpl Hunter Clark’s attendance at the event last weekend to determine if any DoD policies were violated,” Capt. Kelton J Cochran, a spokesman for the 24th MEU, said. “Any details pertaining to this incident are not releasable while the investigation is being conducted.”
This is proof of overt acts and statements made in furtherance of the illegal but thus-far uncharged conspiracy.

The second article analyzed the indictment’s detailed factual averments that spelled out how Sussmann and others conspired to concoct a false but “plausible” narrative purportedly demonstrating the existence of a secret channel of internet communications between the Trump Organization, owned by Donald Trump, and the Russian Alfa Bank. The article ended at the point where Sussmann was about to meet with James Baker, the general counsel of the FBI.
“Truth is complicated but lies are obvious and Russia-gate was a lie,” left-wing comedian/actor Russell Brand says in this new clip. Just to put that in perspective, Brand is coming from the far left. He says so himself in this clip. Later he talks about his idea of democracy which sounds a lot like Democratic Socialism to me, i.e. the kind of democracy where workers get to vote on every decision made in the workplace, etc. He is not a right-wing guy, though he sort of sounds like one here.
Last week, initial leaks from the Arizona audit, which happened in Maricopa County, began to circulate. As RedState reported, the raw tally of ballots found over 300 more votes for Joe Biden than the original count. But as I said at the time, while that may have been somewhat surprising, you could bet that number was being presented out of context and that there’d be more to come.
