Yes, aliens probably exist — but they haven’t visited us

Washington is closely watching UAPs

The military types who recently testified before a congressional hearing about their close encounters with UFOs were not the usual suspects associated with such reports. Retired naval commander David Fravor said that he, his weapons service officer and their counterparts in another jet had seen a mysterious “Tic-Tac” shaped “object” while both planes were flying off San Diego in 2004. Speaking to a House of Representatives Oversight subcommittee at the end of last month, he detailed how the object’s dramatic maneuvers — caught on video by the next flight crew to take off — were beyond the capabilities of the known.

UFO Hearings Haven’t Changed What Americans Believe

Americans on the whole have remained largely unmoved by the testimony given at a special hearing of the House Oversight Committee on whether the government was covertly aware or in possession of alien technology and alien life.

According to two polls of 1,500 U.S. adults, conducted on behalf of Newsweek by Redfield & Wilton Strategies before and after the UFO hearing in late July, fewer Americans are now as sure about the claim that the federal government is in possession of an alien craft, and slightly more people now believe that the government knows more than it is letting on.

A scurrilous attack on the UFO whistleblower’s mental health

“We recently looked at the latest House committee hearing on UFOs and what the Pentagon knows about them, including the bombshell testimony from whistleblower and former top intelligence community official David Grusch. It was obvious that plenty of people inside the Pentagon were going to be unhappy about their secrets being revealed, and the members of Congress investigating the matter have had numerous roadblocks thrown up in their way. But someone’s anger at Grusch’s candid testimony has obviously crossed a very serious line.”

Cosmic Watergate 2.0?

The late Stanton Friedman, the engaging and entrepreneurial researcher who played such an important part in the evolution of the Roswell myth, used to refer to the supposed cover-up of a spacecraft crash not too far (in New Mexico miles) from Roswell as a “cosmic Watergate.” The label reflected the times — the late 1970s — when the long-forgotten story of the unfortunate UFO was first exhumed. It was later elaborated upon with the addition of the discovery of undersized alien corpses and, even, accounts of a second crash.

What in the world is going on with UFOs?

While a small community of enthusiasts has been investigating unidentified flying objects for decades, in recent years, they largely flew under the radar.

Until a compelling 2017 report by the New York Times that paired cockpit videos of what looked like a darting Tic Tac mint with the firsthand account of the Navy pilots who saw them.

“Those articles opened the door for the government and public that cannot be closed,” retired Cmdr. David Fravor, a former F-18 pilot, testified before a congressional committee on July 26. “It removed the stigma on the topic of UFOs, which is why we’re here today.”

A monumental UFO scandal is looming

The decades-long saga of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) is barreling headlong toward one of two stunning conclusions.

Either the U.S. government has mounted an extraordinary, decades-long coverup of UFO retrieval and reverse-engineering activities, or elements of the defense and intelligence establishment are engaging in a staggeringly brazen psychological disinformation campaign.

Either possibility would have profound implications for democracy, the role of government and perhaps also humanity’s place in the cosmos.

Three UFO Witnesses DROPPED OUT Of Hearing Last Minute After Phone Call From PENTAGON: Rep. Burchett

Starting in WW II the US has had a formal Crash Retrieval program designed to scoop up “enemy” tech that as far as I know operates to this day. I see no reason why this program would have been discontinued and no reason why its mandate would not have included suspected UFO’s. During WW II the US recovered an intact Japanese Zero fighter in the Aleutians. They patched it up and discovered its weaknesses during flight testing which assisted in the design of the Hellcat fighter.

Ward Carrol a retired Navy pilot has a video discussing the Navy UFO videos, he flew Soviet aircraft acquired by hook or by crook in a secret school for American pilots.

UFOs are the story of the century — wake up, America!

Last week, I had a front-row seat at the hearing of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), also known as UFOs. The three witnesses provided extraordinary testimony on their observations of aerial craft with performance characteristics far beyond those of modern aircraft, as well as knowledge of a hidden U.S. government crash retrieval program of such vehicles and their nonhuman operators.

Former U.S. Intelligence Chief Weighs In on UFO Hearings

A former national intelligence director under Donald Trump did not deny claims made in a recent hearing on the government’s alleged knowledge of alien life when asked about them, responding that “the government has more information than it’s sharing.”

Speaking on Fox News on Sunday, John Ratcliffe, who served as the U.S. intelligence chief between 2020 and 2021, declined to go into detail about the veracity of the allegations, citing national security restrictions, but called for greater transparency on the issues raised.

Who did honest reporting on David Grusch and the July UAP/UFO hearings?

In honor of the recent UAP hearings that were held on July 26, I did a quick scan of some major news outlets (like The New York Times, CNN, Fox News, and more) to see how they were reporting this story. I read the articles, analyzed how they presented things, and gave them a grade. Of course, my assessments are not gospel; I invite everyone to read these pieces and interpret what they say about the media reaction to this topic going forward.

The arrogance of dismissing aliens

Recent UFO hearings have exposed our lack of foresight

It is not often that congressional hearings launch a golden week of memes. Last Wednesday, a subcommittee began questioning former Air Force intelligence officer David Grusch, who has accused the US Department of Defence of concealing a long-standing programme that retrieves and reverse-engineers alien spacecraft that crash on Earth. Congressmen are struggling to take him seriously. The tone of the chair, Wisconsin’s Glenn Grothman, was facetious, telling the capacity crowd that they were watching “the most exciting subcommittee in Congress this week”. But Grusch’s claims have inspired an enormous amount of interest, as well as a lot of jokes.

The UFO reports piquing Nasa’s interest

For the first time ever, a team of Nasa scientists is taking unidentified anomalous phenomena seriously. But how will they sift out the incidents worthy of investigation?

It was just a normal day’s flying for Alex Dietrich – until it wasn’t. Streaking through the sky over the tranquil expanse of the Pacific Ocean near San Diego, the US Navy lieutenant commander was taking her F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jet on a training mission with a colleague in another plane. Then came a voice through the crackle of the radio.

It was an operations officer aboard the warship USS Princeton, asking them to investigate a suspicious object flitting around: on several occasions, it had been spotted 80,000ft (24.2km) high, before suddenly dropping close to the sea and apparently vanishing.

David Grusch’s whistleblower UFO testimony is slammed by head of Pentagon office as ‘insulting’ for accusing government of cover-up at bombshell congressional hearing

The head of the Pentagon’s UFO office has slammed Wednesday’s shocking congressional hearing in which three whistleblowers claimed they had firsthand encounters or knowledge about secret government programs involving technology that is ‘non-human.’

Sean Kirkpatrick issued a statement Friday denying some of the witnesses’ claims – drawing a fiery rebuke from lawmakers.

Five UFO claims at the heart of ‘the biggest cover-up in history’

After US Congress held its first ever hearing on unidentified flying objects, we explore the allegations that are simply out of this world

Unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were once the preserve of conspiracy theorists: tinfoil hat-wearers who have, in recent decades, found their natural home in the dark corners of the internet. Despite our natural curiosity, scepticism has been our default response on this issue.

The doubts have persisted despite such esteemed figures as Lord Hill-Norton, once a Chief of the General Staff, and Vice-Admiral Roscoe H Hillenkoetter, the first director of the CIA, supporting theories of their existence.
