Saving America Starts with Rejecting Digital Currency

America in the twenty-first century has been on an accelerating descent not unlike what befell ancient Rome. For some four centuries Rome’s Senate and constitution provided continuity which sustained the Roman Republic through various challenges. But in the end, what befell Rome from barbarian invasion, political corruption, and mobs that were manipulated and used by its Caesars, was a rampage against reason and freedom, leading to the Republic’s demise and transition to a centralized imperial authority under emperors.

Distinctly American: Who Are RFK Jr.’s Supporters?

They represent those who are tired of being told by the people in power what their choices and beliefs are or should be.

Last Thursday night, most pundits, journalists, and columnists were huddled around their televisions or devices, poised to opine on the long-awaited DeSantis/Newsom matchup. Having forced myself to sit through two GOP debates only to have them both end with me lowering my head in despair and wishing I had bought an extra fifth of scotch to help me weather the evening, I opted to forego the Presidential Hopeful WrestleMania. As I understand it, I didn’t miss much, and both sides declared victory. Instead, I found myself huddled on a cold sidewalk outside of a bar in Salt Lake City. The reason? Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was holding a campaign rally, and I had been given press credentials. As I am the child of ’60s activists, JFK, MLK, and RFK were practically the Holy Trinity in our house. So, it was with a mix of nostalgia and curiosity that I went out into the cold.

Faces of Muslim ‘Abandon Biden’ movement accused of wife beating, Hamas links

WASHINGTON — A campaign calling on Muslim-Americans to oppose President Biden’s re-election bid over his support for Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip includes men accused of spousal abuse and ties to the Hamas terror group, as well as one advocate of whipping as a form of punishment, The Post has learned.

The leaders of the “Abandon Biden” movement piled onto a Hampton Inn stage Saturday in Dearborn, Mich., to slam the 81-year-old commander-in-chief for not forcing Israel to halt its incursion in response to the murders of 1,200 people — including 33 Americans — Oct. 7.

Wife beating is what good Mohammedans do!

It is alleged his actions on behalf of Havana dated back four decades.

Trudeau plays the Trump card

OTTAWA — One name could dominate Canada’s next election: Donald Trump.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Liberal lawmakers are shifting into full-on attack mode, trying to use former President Trump’s MAGA brand to bludgeon his popular rival, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, as a hard-right populist out of sync with Canadian values.

Chanting “MAGA” will not help a corrupt, incompetent Trudeau government which has achieved near universal disdain for the harms done to Canadians.

US prison deaths soared by 77% during height of Covid-19 crisis, study finds

A study of US prison deaths at the height of the Covid-19 crisis in 2020 has found that mortality rates soared by 77% relative to 2019, or more than three times the increase in the general population.

The study, published by Science Advances last week, is the most comprehensive analysis of in-custody deaths since 2020. The report found that “Covid-19 was the primary driver for increases in mortality due to natural causes; some states also experienced substantial increases due to unnatural causes.”

NBC Mourns Hollywood’s Anti-Semites Are Facing Consequences

NBC’s entertainment correspondent Chloe Melas intended to do a report on how people on both sides of Hollywood’s Israel-Hamas War debate are facing blowback for their opinions for Saturday’s edition of Today. However, what she actually ended up doing was lamenting that Hollywood’s anti-Semites are facing consequences for their actions by making false equivalency between Holocaust distortion and false accusations of genocide by Israel with Israel supporters comparing Hamas to ISIS.

Muslim-American voter group vows to ‘Abandon Biden’ over Gaza war

Muslim-American leaders from nine swing states — livid at President Biden for siding with Israel in its war against Hamas terrorists — launched a campaign Saturday to boot the commander-in-chief from the White House.

“We are announcing today that President Biden has lost the 2024 election,” organizer Jaylai Hussein, head of the newly formed #AbandonBiden National Coalition, said at a conference in a Hampton Inn in Dearborn, Mich.

America’s undying empire: why the decline of US power has been greatly exaggerated

In recent years, the idea that the United States is an empire in decline has gained considerable support, some of it from quarters that until very recently would have denied it was ever an empire at all. The New York Times, for instance, has run columns that describe a “remarkably benign” American empire that is “in retreat”, or even at risk of decline and fall.

Yet the shadow American power still casts over the rest of the world is unmistakable. The US has military superiority over all other countries, control of the world’s oceans via critical sea lanes, garrisons on every continent, a network of alliances that covers much of the industrial world, the ability to render individuals to secret prisons in countries from Cuba to Thailand, preponderant influence over the global financial system, about 30% of the world’s wealth and a continental economy not dependent on international trade.

How a U.S. indictment connects to an alleged India-linked murder plot on Canadian soil

A recently unsealed U.S. criminal indictment alleging a plot connected to the Indian government to carry out multiple assassinations in North America has rattled Canadian and American relations with the world’s most populous democracy.

The court document, made public Wednesday, lays out U.S. prosecutors’ case against Indian national Nikhil Gupta. U.S. authorities allege Gupta was planning to kill an American Sikh political activist before he was arrested.

The indictment landed months after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shocked the House of Commons by accusing India of being behind the killing of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia.

Foreign-born population of US tops 49 million for first time ever: study

Nearly 50 million people living in the US were born in another country according to a shocking new report.

A new study by the Center for Immigration Studies found 49.5 million people — around 15% of the 330 million US population — were originally born in another country.

The report also states this percentage, the highest ever recorded since the nation’s founding, has increased during Biden’s presidency, which it attributes to migrants flooding into the country during the current border crisis.

US Spends Billions on Overseas Wars, But Who Really Benefits?

Concerns over incentivizing global conflicts are rising as the Biden administration requests more than $105 billion in supplemental security spending.

The administration says the money, primarily for Israel and Ukraine, will be good for the economy.

President Joe Biden has described the mammoth spending package as “a smart investment” that will “pay dividends” to U.S. security interests.

U.S. indictment alleges multiple Indian assassination plots across North America

A newly unsealed U.S. criminal indictment has unleashed an unprecedented flood of details about an alleged plot connected to the Indian government to carry out multiple assassinations in North America.

Perhaps the most surprising allegation in the murder-for-hire indictment filed in New York state against Indian national Nikhil Gupta is a claim that there were plans to carry out three such killings on Canadian soil.

The indictment, made public Wednesday, accuses Gupta of attempting this year to arrange one killing in New York after receiving instructions from an Indian government employee.

Liberals announce legislation to set stage for digital services tax

The Liberal government announced legislation Tuesday that will pave the way for the implementation of a digital services tax, but it contains no date for when the tax will come into effect.

The government first pledged in 2020 to bring in a digital services tax (DST) on big tech companies. The tax would apply to revenues of large firms providing digital services such as e-commerce, social media and online advertising.

Biden has been told to say he does not approve, wonder how the US will retaliate?
