Bannon Found Guilty on Both Counts of Contempt of Congress; Appeal Likely

Former White House adviser Stephen K. Bannon was found guilty Friday in federal court in Washington, DC, on both counts of contempt of Congress, after the jury deliberated for about three hours.

Bannon’s defense team, anticipating a possible guilty verdict, had said earlier in the week that they intended to appeal, given that Judge Carl Nichols barred many defenses, including legal challenges to the validity of the subpoenas of the January 6th committee, which he was accused of defying.

U.S. probes China’s Huawei over equipment near missile silos

WASHINGTON, July 21 (Reuters) – The Biden administration is investigating Chinese telecoms equipment maker Huawei over concerns that U.S. cell towers fitted with its gear could capture sensitive information from military bases and missile silos that the company could then transmit to China, two people familiar with the matter said.

Authorities are concerned Huawei (HWT.UL) could obtain sensitive data on military drills and the readiness status of bases and personnel via the equipment, one of the people said, requesting anonymity because the investigation is confidential and involves national security.

Autism Rate Now 1 in 30 Among American Children

A new study published in the journal JAMA Pediatrics found that the number of children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the United States has risen to 1 in 30. The study, which was conducted by public health researchers at Guandong Pharmaceutical University in China, looked at data from the annual National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) maintained by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It estimated there was a 52 percent increase in ASD diagnoses among children and adolescents in the U.S. during 2017-2020.

One in five US adults condone ‘justified’ political violence, mega-survey finds

One in five adults in the United States, equivalent to about 50 million people, believe that political violence is justified at least in some circumstances, a new mega-survey has found.

A team of medical and public health scientists at the University of California, Davis enlisted the opinions of almost 9,000 people across the country to explore how far willingness to engage in political violence now goes.

They discovered that mistrust and alienation from democratic institutions have reached such a peak that substantial minorities of the American people now endorse violence as a means towards political ends. “The prospect of large-scale violence in the near future is entirely plausible,” the scientists warn.

Biden Administration Funds Anti-Israel Curricula, Hate Messages

The Biden administration has decided to resume financial aid to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), even though the agency’s school books continue to incite violence and erase Israel’s existence from their maps. This means that US taxpayer money, thanks to the Biden administration, is now once again going directly to an international agency that promotes messages of hate against Israel and denies its right to exist.

The resumption of the financial aid to UNRWA will also help to perpetuate the problem of the Palestinian refugees and their descendants.

So then does Trudeau.

Reps. Omar and Tlaib among Democrats tied to group with alleged links to Hamas slaying

At least eight Democratic members of Congress share close ties to a nonprofit group that is now subject to discovery in a landmark federal civil lawsuit that seeks to hold the group financially liable for the terrorist slaying of an American teenager in 1996.

David Boim was 17 when members of Hamas, a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, shot and killed him at a bus stop in the West Bank in 1996. Boim’s parents successfully sued a network of American-based Palestinian nonprofit groups in federal court for financing the terrorists that killed their son, and a federal judge ultimately awarded the family a $156 million judgment under the Anti-Terrorism Act following a jury trial in 2004.

With Few Able and Fewer Willing, U.S. Military Can’t Find Recruits

FOUNTAIN, Colo. — The local Army recruiting station was empty. The normally reliable recruiting grounds at the nearby Walmart were a bust. With the Army still thousands of soldiers short of its recruiting goal, the station commander, Sgt. First Class James Pulliam, dressed head to toe in camouflage, scanned a strip-mall parking lot for targets.

He spotted a young woman getting out of a car, and put on his best salesman smile.

“Hey, how’d you know I was going to be here today!” the sergeant said with an affable Carolina drawl, as if greeting an old friend. “I’m going to help put you in the Army!”

How Can Western Civilization Survive with Reviled Institutions?

“A Monmouth University poll released on July 5 reveals that 57% of Americans believe that U.S. federal government actions over the last six months have directly hurt their families. In that same poll, Monmouth compiles the 22 most important priorities of the American people. Neither Russia’s war in Ukraine nor Congress’s January 6 Committee hearings appear anywhere on the list; instead, the top four issues all deal with skyrocketing inflation and economic uncertainty.”

Cabal of leftist elitists orchestrating America’s cultural disintegration

Americans are right to be concerned for the future of our country, but it is not the economy that should most trouble us. The present economic woes will pass. Our economy is resilient.

The ticking time bomb which could bring an end to America as we know it is the cultural disintegration eating away at the foundation of our nation. The use of race as a tool of political manipulation is a cancer destroying the body politic. This disease is transforming our institutions into weapons aimed at us.

Islamist Hamtramck Mayor’s Bigotry and Apparent Voter Fraud

In January, the city of Hamtramck, Michigan, became the first municipality in the United States to be governed entirely by Muslim Americans. Mayor Amer Ghalib was sworn into office with an all-Muslim city council on January 2, after promising to represent the entire community, “no matter your faith, your background, who you love, or your political views.”

Yet, Hamtramck’s new mayor does not live up to his inclusive pledge. Ghalib’s Facebook account includes deeply racist, anti-black statements. He viciously mocked black justice demonstrations and endorsed a comment that referred to African Americans as “animal” and “inhuman.”

Israel’s prime minister lectures Biden on the danger of a new Iran nuclear deal

Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid on Thursday lectured U.S. President Biden on the growing threat of a nuclear-armed Iran, warning that “diplomacy will not stop them.”

“The only thing that will stop Iran is knowing that if they continue to develop their nuclear program, the free world will use force,” Mr. Lapid said. “The only way to stop them is to put a credible military threat on the table.”

No one wants to join the military anymore – Our elites’ culture war has targeted the very Americans who traditionally enlist

Last week marked the 246th birthday of the United States. This year also marks, according to Lieutenant General Thomas Spoehr of the Heritage Foundation, when we “question the sustainability of the all-volunteer force.” As reported in late June by NBC, all branches of the military are falling short of their 2022 recruiting goals.

The Army, for instance, has met only 40 percent of its enlisted recruitment target for the fiscal year, which for the military services ends on September 30. Those in the Pentagon tasked with attracting candidates have listed reasons they are struggling to meet their mission: lack of eligibility, Covid restrictions putting a damper on outreach, competition from a robust civilian employment market, and a lack of a desire to serve.

The same holds true in Canada. Trudeau’s Liberals have turned the armed forces into a sick joke.
