The Middle East: The US Is All In or All Out

It is time for the Biden administration to come to terms with the challenging situation in Yemen. It seems that the administration is trying to pick a middle ground, but the Houthis’ ongoing terrorist attacks and the massive scale of the humanitarian crisis rules out staying the course of strategic compromise.

Despite multiple attacks on Abu Dhabi, which include an air base that hosts American military personnel, the current administration seems unwilling to designate the Houthis as the terrorist organization it is. At the same time, however, it wants to put constraints on the use of weapons the U.S. might sell to the United Arab Emirates, whose civilian population has been targeted by the Houthis. As so often happens when you fail to identify a clear direction, the status quo is maintained. For Yemen, this is no longer acceptable.

The State Department is pulling out of the ME, a process begun under Obama.

Gov. Whitmer Says It’s ‘Downright Dangerous’ for Conservative Media to Be ‘Inciting’ Trucker Protest

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) told CNN on Thursday that is dangerous for conservative media to be covering the ongoing Canadian truckers protest in a light that doesn’t smear them as lawbreakers or racists.

Truckers in Canada have taken the extra step to block the Ambassador Bridge that connects Detriot, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario, where at least 25 percent of all trade between the U.S. and Canada takes place. Two other ports of entry along the U.S.-Canadian border have also been blocked by protesters calling for an end of COVID-related mandates.

More Foreign Interference Just Like Justin Warned Us About! Canadian Mayor Says Democratic Governor Offered Equipment to Remove ‘Freedom Convoy’

Mayor Drew Dilkens of Windsor, Ontario said in a press conference Thursday that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, offered to send over “heavy equipment” to help remove trucks blocking the Ambassador Bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor.

Biden commands Trudeau get even tougher with Freedom Convoy … Why that smells like foreign interference!

Ontario has brought in more draconian rules to crack down on Freedom Convoy truckers – including vehicle seizures and fines – just days after honking was banned and after the US told Canada to use federal powers to end the blockades.

US President Joe Biden on Thursday urged his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau to impose further rules as the bumper-to-bumper demonstration on the city’s Ambassador Bridge forced auto plants on both sides of the border to shut down or scale back production.

The bridge, which connects Windsor, Ontario with Detroit, Michigan, is North America’s busiest international land border and usually carries more than $327million of goods per day on over 8,000 trucks, accommodating 27 percent of the approximately $400 billion in annual trade between Canada and the US.

Keep in mind that Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer would happily see us freeze in the dark by destroying the Enbridge pipeline that feeds Ontario and Quebec.

Trucker Blockade of US-Canada Border Bridge Forcing Carmakers to Cut Production

On Feb. 7, Canadians protesting the nation’s cross-border vaccine mandate and other pandemic-related restrictions began a blockade of the Ambassador Bridge, a vital crossing over the Detroit River between the Motor City and Windsor, Ontario. Constructed in 1929, the bridge is a vital trade artery between the two nations with $323 million worth of goods crossing over it each day—over a quarter of the trade between the U.S. and its neighbor to the north.

Biden regime leans on empty suit Trudeau to squash peaceful Trucker demonstration

U.S. offers Trudeau government help to end border blockade

U.S. officials have offered to help the Trudeau government end an anti-vaccine mandate protest blockade that is sending ripple effects through the American economy and causing increasing concern in Washington.

The White House says U.S. officials had multiple conversations on Thursday with their Canadian counterparts about the blockade on the Ambassador Bridge, a major trade artery which connects Windsor, Ont. with Detroit.

Gee, it seems like only yesterday the Libs were crying about “foreign involvement” in Canadian affairs.

Showtime’s new racial justice documentary is political propaganda

“What annoys me most about white people is when they pretend to play the victim,” says actress and comedian Amanda Seales. “What’s also annoying is when they kill us.” Those are the opening lines of a trailer for Showtime’s upcoming documentary, “Everything’s Gonna Be All White,” which seeks to confront “the facets of racism, exploitation and discrimination that contributed to the formation of America.”

US ‘freedom convoy’ could disrupt Sunday’s Super Bowl, officials warn

A planned American “freedom convoy” of truckers opposed to vaccine mandates, inspired by protests in Canada, could involve a blockade of the Super Bowl in Los Angeles this weekend that “could severely disrupt transportation, federal government, and law enforcement”, according to reports.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin to US law enforcement agencies warning of a convoy “potentially impacting Super Bowl LVI” on 13 February, and the 1 March State of the Union address in Washington, where the mooted convoy is likely to arrive, CBS reported.

The DHS bulletin said such a protest “could severely disrupt transportation, federal government, and law enforcement operations through gridlock and potential counter-protests”.

Latest DHS Terror Alert Calls Those Who Disagree With Government ‘Narrative’ ‘Threat Actors’

The feds issued a new terror advisory this week that puts Americans who “mislead” others away from government-approved messages as a “threat actor” on par with terrorists.

That means “free speech” could cost you everything.

The threat assessment seems to complete the circle constructed by Democrats and law enforcement to criminalize wrong-thought and differences of opinion with government actors.

CAIR Doubles Down on ‘Illegal Surveillance’ Charges

The Islamist group has expanded its bogus accusations and is asking the Department of Justice to investigate its critics.

Ever since the Ohio headquarters of the Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR) went public in December with accusations that Steven Emerson’s Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) was illegally surveilling the Ohio Muslim community, CAIR has driven the public narrative with the assistance of a gullible and ignorant media.

Like a fox demanding an investigation of the henhouse, CAIR sent a letter to the Department of Justice on January 31, calling for it to “launch an investigation to determine whether Steve Emerson or IPT broke any federal civil rights statutes or criminal laws by targeting the Muslim Community.”

Israel and America are drifting apart

Our interests have diverged as even the Israeli prime minister recently acknowledged

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has revealed what members of his country’s national security elite have been chatting about behind closed doors for quite a while.

“The United States has been, and will always be our best friend,” the Israeli PM said in a speech delivered before the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) at Tel Aviv University. Then came the big “but”: “Washington has its own set of interests, which we must honestly admit do not always overlap with ours.”

U.S. trucker convoy to Washington gathers steam

Canada’s truckers have paralyzed Ottawa and unsettled the country’s politics over vaccine and mask mandates. Now Americans want in on the action.

A nationwide convoy — starting in California before heading toward Washington, D.C. — is expected to get underway on March 4 amid a growing clamor from those who believe their freedoms are under threat from government Covid-19 restrictions.

Trudeau Government Vows to Criminally Target American Donors Supporting Freedom Protest for “Undermining National Security”

Good grief, when the leftist government in Canada gets pushback, they really don’t know how to handle it. Earlier today, the Canadian government expressed extreme anger toward any American citizen who may have made a financial contribution to the Freedom Protest.

FBI probes pre-Capitol riot meeting of far-right groups

WASHINGTON, Feb 8 (Reuters) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation is probing a meeting in a downtown DC garage the day before the January 6 Capitol Hill riot between the then-leader of the Proud Boys extremist group, the now-indicted leader of the Oath Keepers militia and other far-right figures, according to two witnesses interviewed by FBI agents.

Among the half dozen people gathered at a garage near the Phoenix Park Hotel was Oath Keepers head Stewart Rhodes, who was indicted this year on charges of “seditious conspiracy” in the insurrection. Proud Boys Chairman Enrique Tarrio, who was not present at the riot, was also at the garage meeting but left Washington afterward.
