Meeting in a top-secret, smoke-filled war room, U.S. generals agreed on a plan earlier this week to invade the foreign dictatorship known as “Canada” and establish a democracy there.
“Gentlemen, it’s time,” said General Butch “Meathead” Tanner of the U.S. Army as he munched a cigar. “We can’t let this evil, religious zealot Trudeau oppress his people any longer. It’s time to let freedom ring.”
“And by ‘let freedom ring’, of course, I mean ‘rain down an ungodly amount of explosives,'” he added. “I love democracy.”
And we’re moving the capitol to Red Deer.

A 22-year veteran D.C. police officer has been suspended from his post and is currently under investigation by his department, the FBI, and the Department of Justice for reportedly working with a leader of the Proud Boys to defuse potentially violent confrontation with left-wing groups like Antifa, according to a report.
Shane Lamond, a lieutenant in the intelligence branch and father of three, “has been put on leave amid an investigation into alleged improper contacts with a prominent member of the extremist group Proud Boys,” reported The Washington Post.

Representative Mo Brooks (R-AL) suggests an outside-the-box approach to taking on any truck driver shortages the United States faces.
During an interview with Mobile, AL radio FM Talk 106.5, Brooks, a candidate for U.S. Senate in Alabama, proposed granting Canadian truckers protesting the Trudeau government political asylum in the United States.

Washington DC police have nixed officers’ leave over the next week to prepare for a caravan for Freedom Convoy protesters currently headed toward the nation’s capitol, sources close to the DC police department have revealed.
According to the insiders, the department is currently mobilizing hundreds of its officers to spearhead a large response plan against truck convoys across the nation poised to travel to the US Capitol next week in support of vaccine mandate protests started in Canada late last month that have since spread across the globe, NewsNation reported.
Next week, according to the outlet, forces of 500 officers each day will be formed to comprise civil disturbance units, set to quell the planned demonstrations, if needed. Protests in Canada have remained largely peaceful, with liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau blasted as an authoritarian for his attempts to stomp out the protests and stop them from being funded.

Civil liberties were suspended to protect foreign investment
… The Canadian people’s rights and civil liberties have been weighed against the “rights” of American capital, and have been passed over. At the time of writing, banks have been granted the ability (free of liability) to freeze the bank accounts of those under mere suspicion of involvement in the protest movement — with no need for a court order. In addition, emergency orders must adhere to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but only according to Justin Trudeau’s interpretation. After two years of severe and unjustified infringements on freedom of association, assembly, religion, expression, and equality under law, many Canadians are now doubtful as to whether they are still citizens of a liberal democratic state.

The Pentagon is slated to host an event on Wednesday making “the case for global justice and democratic socialism” as a means to combat China’s rise, sparking ire on Capitol Hill.
The event, titled, “Responding to China: The Case for Global Justice and Democratic Socialism,” is being hosted by the Institute for National Strategic Studies, a department of the National Defense University, the Pentagon’s top policy shop. The event is open to the public and will be held on the Pentagon’s Strategic Multilayer Assessment platform, a Defense Department initiative that studies global challenges, according to an invitation for the event posted online.

The Biden administration has abruptly withdrawn American support for the Eastern Mediterranean (EastMed) pipeline, a project aimed at shipping natural gas from Israel to European markets. The White House said the project was antithetical to its “climate goals.”
In reaching its decision, which effectively kills EastMed, the White House appears to have caved to pressure from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has vociferously opposed the underwater pipeline because it would bypass Turkey.

… As the Ottawa police failed to disperse the truckers and their supporters, the media pressured a pathetic-looking Trudeau–who’d fled the city to hide in a still-undisclosed location–to crack down on the Freedom Convoy. The Emergencies Act would be a major escalation, allowing the government to take a degree of power reserved for wartime or for serious emergencies and disasters.
Trudeau himself, together with state-controlled (or elite-sympathetic) media, tried to prepare the ground for this unprecedented move by slandering the Freedom Convoy and its supporters for weeks as racists, white supremacists and fascists.

… As the shadows of possible conflict dramatically darken, one has to ask whether President Biden is prepared and capable of confronting what may be the defining test of Western Democracy, his administration, and by extension, the man himself.
One is compelled to ask because his tenure to date reveals a muddled and amateurish response to crisis. Media reports regarding our retreat from Afghanistan reveals an embarrassing level of incompetence by the White House that left our “boots on the ground” not just frustrated but in danger.
That’s a Hard NO.

The Biden administration will invest nearly $3 billion to fund domestic battery manufacturing projects in the coming months, the Department of Energy announced Friday.
“As electric cars and trucks continue to grow in popularity within the United States and around the world, we must seize the chance to make advanced batteries — the heart of this growing industry — right here at home,” Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm said in a statement. “With funding from Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we’re making it possible to establish a thriving battery supply chain in the United States.”
This says they want to keep it all made in America with no scraps for Canada. This is another FU from Biden to Junior. Frankly I suspect most world leaders duck down a hallway when they see Trudeau approaching, no one treats him with respect and for good reason.

The man charged with killing six people and injuring 61 when he drove through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin last November, has pleaded not guilty on Friday to all 77 charges.
His lawyers also requested moving the trial to a different venue.

They work quickly.
As soon as Haji Matiullah Matie arrived in the United States, he became the poster boy for Afghan refugees.
In November 2021, as swarms of unvetted Afghan refugees airlifted by Biden with Taliban permission arrived in the United States, military social media accounts made him the face of Operation Allies Welcome and promoted stories about his reunion with an officer he had known.
Russia has the troops in place to invade Ukraine “at any time” and American citizens should leave within the next 48 hours, the US has warned.
An invasion could start with aerial bombing that would make departures difficult and endanger civilians, the White House said on Friday.
A host of other countries have also urged their nationals to leave Ukraine.
Russia has repeatedly denied any plans to invade Ukraine despite massing more than 100,000 troops near the border.

The ongoing blockade at the Ambassador Bridge is nothing short of a colossal failure of the Canadian state to assert its authority over one of its most basic functions: securing the border. That the federal Liberal government has so far refused to take full responsibility, declaring it a local policing issue, is an incredible embarrassment. The greatest threat to Canada right now is not insurrection or foreign interference, but the incompetency baked into the country.
