Kenyan al-Shabab terrorist is charged with plotting 9/11-style terror attack on an American city after training as a pilot in Philippines

A Kenyan member of al-Shabab stands accused of plotting to fly an airliner into a United States’ skyscraper after he trained as a pilot in the Philippines.

Cholo Abdi Abdullah, 30, spent years training to carry out a 9/11-style attack, prosecutors say. He will appear in a New York court later Wednesday.

He said to have been arrested in 2019 in the Philippines with a bomb and gun, Rappler.com reports.

Acting Manhattan U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said: ‘This chilling callback to the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001, is a stark reminder that terrorist groups like al Shabaab remain committed to killing U.S. citizens and attacking the United States.’

Trump mulling push for special prosecutor to investigate Hunter Biden: report

President Trump is reportedly considering pressuring the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel in the federal tax probe of President-elect Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Trump has sought advice from White House counsel Pat Cipollone, White House chief of Staff Mark Meadows and others outside the administration, The Associated Press reported. The reported discussions come after Trump announced Attorney General William Barr’s resignation earlier this week. Trump vocally criticized Barr for not making the investigation into Hunter Biden public before the election.

Iranian president happy ‘terrorist’ Trump’s presidency is ending

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has told his cabinet that, while Iran isn’t excited about Joe Biden, he is “very happy” that Donald Trump is leaving office, labelling the US president “a killer” and “a terrorist.”

Speaking during a televised meeting, Rouhani issued scathing attacks on Trump, accusing him of hampering Iran’s ability to respond to the Covid-19 outbreak by blocking its efforts to acquire a vaccine through the World Health Organization.

Joe is more their cup of tea.

Cold war: Russia’s bid to control the Arctic

It may be time for Santa Claus to look for a new home, before the Russians kick him out. ‘This is our Arctic,’ declared the Russian explorer Artur Chilingarov when he went to the North Pole in 2003. Four years later, another Russian expedition, again led by Chilingarov, planted a titanium flag on the seabed 2.5 miles below the Pole. It was a symbolic gesture of a geopolitical ambition. The jingoistic Chilingarov proclaimed: ‘Our task is to remind the world that Russia is a great Arctic and scientific power.’

‘Soft Targets’: Chinese Spies Have Been Exploiting US Politicians for Decades, Says Expert

A report that a suspected Chinese spy spent years cozying up to local and national-level politicians reveals that Beijing is investing significantly in long-term espionage operations to infiltrate U.S. politics, an expert said.

From 2011 to 2015, Christina Fang, a Chinese student at California State University–East Bay, cultivated extensive ties with local politicians in the Bay Area by volunteering in fundraising campaigns and attending political events. U.S. intelligence officials believe she was working under the direction of China’s top spy agency, the Ministry of State Security (MSS), according to a recent investigation by Axios.

Linda Sarsour Knocks on Doors for Team Biden in Georgia

An anti-Israel activist is knocking on doors for Team Biden in Georgia—even though the president-elect has spurned her for espousing anti-Semitic views.

Linda Sarsour, a leftist anti-Israel activist, said in a “Vote-a-thon” Facebook Live event Sunday that she had temporarily relocated to Georgia, where she will be knocking on doors and attempting to turn out the vote for Democratic Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.

Tennessee Lawyer Fired for Saying Islam Isn’t a Peaceful Religion

It’s the sort of thing that can make someone proud to be an American: Two Christians are on trial now in Algeria for “insulting the prophet and denigrating the precepts of the Muslim religion.” Imagine: on trial for expressing opinions that go against those of the elites. But that could never happen here, right? We have the freedom of speech in the U.S. We can say anything we wish, aside from calls for violence or criminal activity, and express our opinions, no matter how unpopular, without fear of reprisal, right?

Could Secession Succeed?

There’s an undeniable pleasure in imagining the blue states cut off from America and forced to fend for themselves without normal Americans to feed them, fuel them, and defend them from the kind of dirtbags they kiss up to in order to show us knuckle-dragging Jesus-folk what for. But secession is a terrible idea, for them, but more importantly, for us. And while I don’t think America will unravel anytime soon – though those of us who read real history instead of silly oppression studies dreck understand that all great civilizations do eventually collapse – it remains possible that our country could fall apart in the short-term. Heaven knows the idiots in our useless Establishment seem to be doing everything possible to make that happen. That thought itself should be enough to inspire you to get fighting for the Constitution, using its provisions twice as hard despite the election theft last month, while hedging your bets with a 5.56mm rainy day fund.

US companies riddled with members of Chinese Communist Party: Devine

As we try to come to terms with the extent of Chinese influence over the Biden family, a leaked database of registered members of the Chinese Communist Party has exposed a mass infiltration of American companies — with serious national-security implications.

Boeing, Qualcomm and Pfizer are just three US companies who have employed dozens of CCP members in their Chinese facilities, the database reveals.

Imagine how deep in the CCP’s ass Justin and the Liberal party are.

Kremlin-backed hackers breach US Treasury and Commerce: Report

A “sophisticated hacking group” backed by the Russian government reportedly infiltrated the Department of Treasury’s systems and stole information related to internet and telecommunications policymaking as part of a broader campaign that also hacked the Commerce Department and other government agencies.

The FBI is investigating the attacks and is looking into the Russian hacking group APT29, also known as Cozy Bear, as a potential culprit, according to the Washington Post. The foreign-backed hack was first reported by Reuters.

As a result of the hack, the National Security Council held a meeting at the White House on Sunday.

Florida Man Converts to Islam, Starts Making ISIS Videos

I am not the renowned chronicler of all things Florida Man, Stephen Green, but it does seem as if Jonathan Guerra Blanco nevertheless deserves a place among the Florida Men, as he is among the first-ever jihad terrorists to join the hallowed ranks. Omar Mateen, who murdered 49 people in the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando on behalf of the Islamic State in 2016, was the first, or at very least the most horrifically effective.

Conrad Black: “The Trump haters cackle too soon”

Read the whole thing:

They may evict Trump from the White House, though the Texas lawsuit against evident election irregularities in four states under cover of dubious COVID-related executive orders and questionable legislation, is a good deal more serious than the Trump-hating media admit. The Democrats are now a hodgepodge of miscellaneous Trump-haters and far leftists who played footsie all summer with well-organized and heavily armed rioters masquerading as civil-rights crusaders. Their platform is far too socialistic for the American public, they are unlikely to win the Senate, almost certain to lose the House of Representatives in two years, and Biden is a spavined old milk-wagon horse who couldn’t lead America across the Brooklyn Bridge. His running mate, Kamala Harris, is an authentic leftist, but she’s no world-beater either, though she may well finish Biden’s term. The presumptive Democratic administration is already shaking; half of Biden’s cabinet nominees will not be confirmed by a Republican Senate and most are tainted by the failures of Obama. The criminal investigations of Biden’s family are already very serious and were banned from the media and social media during the campaign and dismissed as Russian disinformation. The revelation that one of the chief congressional hyenas of Trump impeachment, Rep. Eric Swalwell, had an intimate relationship with a Chinese spy is a piquant expose of his sanctimonious hypocrisy.

The Biden administration, if it takes office at all, will be a clangorous “Gong Show.” Either Trump, or a Republican approved by him and continuing his policies, will be the Republican candidate in four years. Then we will have the final round in this battle for the political soul of America. What we are hearing now is the Trump-hating goose cackling too loudly and too soon.

A New Chinese Spy Story Involving Democrat Eric Swalwell Surfaces. Swalwell Lashes Out At Critics

A new story involving an alleged Chinese spy and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) surfaced Thursday afternoon, prompting the lawmaker to lash out at critics online as he faces growing scrutiny.

The alleged spy, Chinese national Christine Fang, “targeted up-and-coming local politicians in the Bay Area and across the country who had the potential to make it big on the national stage” through “campaign fundraising, extensive networking, personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships,” Axios reported at the start of the week in the first spy story involving Swalwell.
