On the left, comedy is now officially and completely dead

If there’s one constant with leftists, it’s that they’re humorless. In 1939’s Ninotchka, Greta Garbo played a relentlessly serious Soviet commissar who heads to Paris, where she leaves communism behind—and, with that, she laughs. In 2022, leftist humorlessness has extended to censoring one of the funniest men alive, John Cleese. His sin? Pointing out that Blacks are not the only people who have experienced slavery.

A new group of social media stars are surging on TikTok: Mental health influencers. Most of them are teen girls and young women who post videos of themselves experiencing symptoms, like Tourette’s tics or rapid switches from one personality to another due to borderline personality disorder. Canadians fighting proposed condo development at Juno Beach D-Day site

Le Weasel tres ungrateful

A group of Canadians is organizing to stop a proposed condo development at Juno Beach in France, the site of the D-Day landing that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Canadian soldiers.

“It was a remarkable battle and the examples of fearlessness and courage and bravery just were outstanding,” said Cindy Clegg, a spokesperson for the group Save Juno Beach.

“And now to think that there are condos going up right next to [the beach], where people can go on holidays and hoot and holler and play their radios loud on this battlefield just made me sick to my stomach.”

Wholesome family environment

Leftist organization Together Rising is investing money and raising funds to help transgender youth advocacy organizations in Florida after the Sunshine State passed a bill prohibiting gender theory from being taught from kindergarten to third grade.

“There’s no such thing as other people’s children,” the group claims, following a longstanding narrative from leftists that children do not belong to their parents, but rather to the community as a whole and are effectively wards of the state.

That may be the case for superyacht Scheherazade, a 459 foot long yacht which remains in an Italian dry dock this week.

Putin’s Islamic Mercenaries

Well, if this isn’t the most hypocritical thing:

Vladimir Putin has given the green light for up to 16,000 volunteers from the Middle East to be deployed alongside Russian-backed rebels fighting in Ukraine, doubling down on an invasion that the west says has been losing momentum.

The move, just over two weeks after Putin ordered the invasion, allows Russia to deploy battle-hardened mercenaries from conflicts such as Syria without risking additional Russian military casualties.

Alec Baldwin claimed that he was following Halyna Hutchins’ directions when he pointed what turned out to be a gun loaded with live rounds at her on the set of the movie ‘Rust’ and pulled the trigger, killing the cinematographer, according to a new court document.

The actor made this allegation in an arbitration demand that his lawyers filed on Friday against his fellow producers. The document also maintains that Baldwin’s contract protected him from financial responsibility related to Hutchins’ death.

Baldwin has been named as a defendant in multiple lawsuits that have been filed in connection with the fatal shooting.
