Climate ‘crisis’ more dangerous than terrorism? Get real, Biden

The resurgence of Taliban is now expected to pose a serious threat to U.S. and global security.  Thirteen U.S. servicemen and nearly 200 Afghans were already killed in blasts outside Kabul Airport on August 26, 2021.  Yet President Biden says the biggest threat to the U.S. is a climate that has been undergoing naturally driven makeovers for eons.

This is not a joke,” said Biden.  “You know what the Joint Chiefs told us the greatest physical threat facing America was?  Global warming.”

A Former Peace Corps Volunteer Responds to News from Afghanistan

Is cultural relativism helping or hurting?

“… There was plenty more we weren’t supposed to see, or hear, or discuss. A group of volunteers had been recruited to introduce aquaculture, so that villagers could farm their own fish, and increase their protein intake. These volunteers were never issued fish stocks. They spent the better part of their time traveling around the country, attending party after party.

Where did the fish supplies go? Corruption, another topic we were not supposed to mention. Accounts, as fabulous as fairy tales, circulated of the corruption of people like CAR’s “emperor,” Jean Bedel Bokassa, who profited from his country’s diamonds and uranium, and the Nepali royal family – headed by a man Hindus worshipped as a god-king – that had allegedly been trafficking heroin since the 1960s.”

Interesting report on the “Peace Corps”, we need more Napiers.

Scumbag Trudeau was eager to lick Communist China’s Ass says Globe

Scumbag Trudeau was eager to lick Communist China’s Ass says Globe

Trudeau initially hoped for common ground with China. But the Michael Spavor and Kovrig detentions marked a turning point in relations

Late in the afternoon of Aug. 31, 2016, Xi Jinping greeted Justin Trudeau in Villa 12 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, a storied spot where the Chinese leadership has hosted some of its most valued guests. Kim Il-sung, Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher stayed there. So did Mao Zedong.

The 2016 trip was Mr. Trudeau’s first visit to China as Prime Minister, and he arrived with high expectations. He wanted to rekindle a relationship with a rising superpower whose consumer markets and bulging capital accounts offered opportunity for Canadian commerce.

Mr. Trudeau also saw a role for Canada in furthering China’s interests.

“He was saying that, like his father had helped China to rejoin the United Nations, he would help China to occupy its rightful place on the international scene,” said a person who was in the room. The Globe and Mail is not identifying the person because they are not authorized to disclose what took place in the meeting.

What a scumbag. Go incognito.

Women share suggestive DMs from Ottawa counсilman embroiled in harassment scandal; Twitter breach is to be blamed, his office says

A member of the Ottawa City Council, who previously refused to resign after being accused of sexual harassment, claims his Twitter account was hacked to send lewd ‘sexcation’ propositions to random women.

The latest round of accusations against the already embattled politician was started by Chicago-based comedian Cassidy Kulhanek, who on Thursday shared chats that she had with Chiarelli’s account.

Amputee gets blue badge after ‘leg will not re-grow’ letter

A special constable who lost a leg in an accident has described his doctor as a “legend” for writing to the council after he was rejected for a blue badge.

Ben Perry’s right leg was amputated in 2018 after he was hit by a car.

However, when it came time to renew his blue badge, he said he was told he did not qualify and was told to supply more evidence of his disability.

In a letter, shared by Mr Perry on Twitter, his doctor told the council his leg was unlikely to “re-grow”.

San Francisco is offering to pay people $300 a month – if they promise not to shoot each other.

The ‘woke’ scheme to curb soaring violent crime is set to begin in October, offering gift cards as an incentive for prospective criminals to lay down their guns.

Called the Dream Keeper Fellowship, the pilot program will kick off with 10 individuals who are deemed at high risk of committing a shooting or being shot, paying them $300 to act as ‘public safety ambassadors.’

The CDC Appoints Itself Language Police With Science-Defying Lingo List

In its latest lurch to the left, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are instructing healthcare partners to adopt anti-science language manipulation to satisfy woke demands.

Using vague buzzwords such as “equity,” “inclusive,” “intersectional,” “diversity,” and “systemic social and health inequities,” the CDC is justifying a new era of manipulated, sometimes anti-scientific, leftist terms to be applied in healthcare settings as “both language and cultural norms change.”
