Social justice crusader ACLU told black staff to ‘keep quiet’ about ‘systemic racism’ in organization – lawsuit

A former employee is taking the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to court, claiming that the nonprofit civil rights group retaliated against him for complaining that there weren’t enough black people in leadership positions.

Robert Jackson, who worked as an associate director for the ACLU, alleges that he was demoted and eventually sacked for highlighting the lack of minorities in the organization’s senior ranks and proposing ways to increase diversity.

Could an Invisible Military Laser Steal Your Privacy?

In early 2006, I sat in the Pashtun tribal areas on the Af/Pak border. When not rinsing grit out of my teeth from the thick fog in the air, I awaited information from capricious “allies,” on whether their informant could identify a senior al Qaeda leader who I’ll call “The Moroccan.” At the time, he was al Qaeda’s regional operational commander and well worth removing from the board.

Chicago Lawyers Say Lightfoot Only Discriminated Against White Reporters For Two Days

Attorneys for Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot are arguing that a preliminary injunction against her for racial discrimination is unnecessary because she only racially discriminated against reporters for a strict two-day period.

Lightfoot is being sued by the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) and Judicial Watch for not granting an interview to DCNF reporter Thomas Catenacci, who is white.

Turks Enraged as Ancestry.com Reveals the Truth: Most of Them Are Greeks

The Turkish DNA Project, an online endeavor to track Turkish genetics, is enraged at the popular genealogy site Ancestry.com and has called for it to be boycotted for stating an inconvenient truth: many, and possibly most, modern Turks are the descendants of the Greeks who once formed the overwhelming majority of the population of the land that is now Turkey. In this as in so many other instances, the truth hurts, but that doesn’t make it any less the truth.

Amsterdam plans to keep tourists ‘in penis outfits’ away

Amsterdam has said it will not allow a return to the “nuisance and massive crowds” the city endured before the pandemic, sending a blunt warning that visitors “whose intention is to booze and misbehave, dressed like a penis” should go elsewhere.

As much of the EU prepares to open up to tourists who are vaccinated, have recovered from the coronavirus or can provide a negative test from 1 July, the Dutch capital’s city hall said in a statement it was taking “extra measures” to discourage excesses.

Nolte: CBSViacom‘s Child-Grooming Campaign (via Nickelodeon) Isn‘t Going So Well for Ratings

Nickelodeon, a cable network that used to entertain children and is now aggressively looking to prematurely sexualize them, is facing a well-deserved ratings collapse.

Maybe pushing adult sexuality on a children’s network isn’t such a good idea, and it really makes you wonder what’s going on behind the scenes with the execs that brings such creepy content to air.

Police firearms charity told it cannot sponsor Town’s youth team

A charity has been told it cannot sponsor an under-15 football team because it has the word “firearms” in its name.

The Police Firearms Officers’ Association (PFOA) wanted to buy new kit for Chatteris Town FC’s youth team.

But Cambridgeshire FA said regulations deemed the sponsorship “detrimental to the welfare, health or general interest of young persons”.

‘The message seems to be a woman who reports rape is a contemptible white feminist’: Outrage at Oxfam staff training document blaming ‘privileged white women’ over root causes of sexual violence

‘The message seems to be a woman who reports rape is a contemptible white feminist’: Outrage at Oxfam staff training document blaming ‘privileged white women’ over root causes of sexual violence

A lawyer today accused Oxfam of suggesting reporting rape is ‘contemptible’ after a training document said ‘privileged white women’ were supporting the ‘root causes of sexual violence’ for wanting offenders jailed because it disproportionately affects minorities.

The charity, which has been hit by a slew of sex scandals including claims that employees used teenage prostitutes in Haiti, compiled the PowerPoint presentation through its LGBT network after the group complained to bosses that the debate about women’s rights was part of a ‘patriarchal and white supremacist narrative’.

Accompanied by a cartoon of a crying white woman, the PowerPoint claims that mainstream feminism supports ‘the root causes of sexual violence’ by painting white women as ‘victims’ and that this in turn justifies excessive punishment for ‘black and other marginalised people’.

Greta Thunberg doesn’t like you

Greta Thunberg Climate Hysteria Puppet

Dorian Lynskey recently wrote a piece celebrating Bob Dylan’s 80th birthday entitled ‘Bob Dylan doesn’t like you‘. The article highlighted the disdain Dylan has for fans, critics, journalists, and even the Nobel Prize Committee. Feted as the voice of a generation, and often acting like it, he still has nothing but scorn for those who acclaim him as such.

Another ‘voice of a generation’, some three generations removed, Greta Thunberg has been acclaimed by many politicians for her climate activism. But there is little sign that Thunberg has anything but scorn for them in return. It would be fair to say to most world leaders: ‘Greta Thunberg doesn’t like you’.
