The UK’s Metropolitan Police is facing fierce criticism after a damning review revealed it allowed highly problematic and serious dangerous criminals to enter its ranks due to a combination of extremely poor vetting and diversity goals.

More than 130 officers and staff within the London force, including two convicted serial rapists, were taken on when they should not have been.

As early as March 2019, Cuba’s ambassador to Canada, Josefina Vidal, appeared on CBC News to denounce Canadian reporting on Cuba’s security intervention in Venezuela. She dismissed the claims outright: “The assertion that thousands of Cubans would allegedly be inserted into the structures of the armed and security forces of Venezuela, supporting the government of (legitimate) President Nicolás Maduro, is a scandalous slander,” she said, demanding proof.

Accused in fatal Yorkdale GO bus shooting has extensive criminal history

The man accused of fatally shooting a passenger on a GO bus in North York over the weekend has an extensive criminal history, including convictions for attempted murder and firearm offences.

Shots were fired on board the packed Oshawa-bound bus around 7 p.m. on Sunday. Officers who responded to Yorkdale Station found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, who police have not yet identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Woman is shot DEAD by ICE after ‘trying to run officers over in act of domestic terrorism’

A woman has been shot and killed by ICE in what Homeland Security says was an act of ‘domestic terrorism.’

The unidentified woman was shot after allegedly trying to ram officers with her car ‘in an attempt to kill them’ during ICE’s operations in Minneapolis, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Mail in a statement.

DHS said she ‘weaponized her vehicle’ while ‘attempting to run over our law enforcement officers.’
