A man in his 20s was found shot to death in a restroom inside the bustling Scarborough Town Centre on Thursday afternoon.

Comet? UFO? Astronomers puzzle over fastest object in solar system

Just after midnight in a part of Planet Earth known as Massachusetts, a team of scientists who track comets and minor planets in the solar system announced that they had spotted something new: a spark in the southern sky, visible in the data they were getting from a telescope in Chile.

The telescope, high in the Atacama Desert, is tasked with searching for objects that might collide with Earth. “We at the Minor Planet Center have the role to collect the information and also to post it quickly, almost in real time, on our website if the object is somehow interesting,” said Peter Veres, a Harvard astronomer sometimes described as an air-traffic controller for the solar system.

Jamie Sarkonak: DEI gardening — the new Liberal priority for agriculture

DEI gardening under Mao.

Free money alert: next Monday, the federal agriculture department will begin accepting applications for cash handouts that fund garden boxes, refrigeration units, greenhouses, ATVs, snowmobiles, tractors, hydroponic systems and more. But there’s a catch — anyone who receives these funds must use them to directly support “food production for equity-deserving groups.”

Letting the government decide who eats and who doesn’t always works swell, just ask Mao or Stalin.

Pure evil, as if we’re being conditioned to accept mass murder.

Canada’s ‘But you can’t hurt em self defence law’

Yes, self-defence is allowed in Canada. ‘Misinformation’ abounds as man charged in assault of intruder: lawyer

After a decision to charge a man for allegedly assaulting an intruder in his home in Lindsay, Ont., sparked widespread reaction this week, one criminal lawyer has a reminder for the public: self-defence is legal in Canada, but within reason.

The Kawartha Lakes Police Service has faced criticism for charging a 44-year-old man after an altercation that left the alleged intruder with life-threatening injuries Monday morning in the small town northeast of Toronto. Police have provided few details but say the resident is facing charges for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon, and the intruder, who is also facing charges, was airlifted to hospital afterward.

Desperate for Attention: Ana Navarro Rages at Melania Plea to End War

With The View on hiatus until its September return for season 29, ABC News co-host Ana Navarro seemed to be getting a little antsy. Instead of just enjoying her vacation with a glass of wine, Navarro uncorked a series of Instagram posts and whined about First Lady Melania Trump’s letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, pleading with him to think of the children in Ukraine and end the war. Of course, Navarro exploited it as an opportunity to feed the Trump haters in her comment section.

Premier Doug Ford is speaking out after a Lindsay, Ont., homeowner was charged with assault following a violent encounter with an alleged intruder over the weekend.

WOW! Ford said something sorta conservative.
