Considering accessory to manslaughter? Don’t worry, you’ll get to keep your gym membership

Grok’s interpretations are often  mysterious

An Ontario court justice has sent a strong message to criminal thugs all across the province who might find themselves in a scenario where they could help a friend evade justice: Go ahead. You won’t necessarily go to jail. In fact, you might be able to keep your gym membership.

Maine governor comes face to face with Canadian travel fears

“… But two questions from participants brought into sharp relief how immigration raids and the rolling back of trans rights is scaring some Canadians away from U.S. visits.

“A lot of members of the queer community — a lot of Canadians feel unsafe, Canadians who are 2SLGBTQI+ absolutely feel unsafe going there,” said Vivian Myers-Jones, a member of the Saint John Pride board.”

Without Fake News CBC I would not know that hordes of Canadian transvestites routinely descended upon Maine in the halcyon days before Trump.

I bet the Governor was surprised as well.

The crazy needles of France

Back in my younger days, my parents loved a song by Les Baxter, “The Poor People of Paris.” To this day, hearing the song reminds me of that cheap GE record player that we bought when we came to the U.S. It was a major achievement finally getting our own set and not having to listen to music on the radio. The song was about life in Paris when it was a French city and not whatever it is now.
