Stephen Harper has ‘a real problem’ with Donald Trump’s claims about Canada

OTTAWA — Former prime minister Stephen Harper says he has “a real problem” with some of Donald Trump’s recent statements about Canada, describing them as incorrect and out-of-sync with the long-standing friendship between this country and the United States.

His comments come after former prime minister Jean Chrétien wrote an op-ed in the Globe and Mail calling on Trump to “give your head a shake,” after the U.S. president-elect spoke of using “economic force” to annex Canada.

Conservatives should not be taking direction from progressives.

Only now, not dying is ‘technically, potentially possible’, he claims.
