CBC president accuses MPs of trying to ‘vilify’ and ‘discredit’ her, defends executive bonuses

OTTAWA — The CEO and president of CBC/Radio-Canada says she believes members of the parliamentary heritage committee have been using her appearances to “vilify and to discredit” her, along with the public broadcaster as a whole, as she defended bonuses paid to executives.

Tait deftly accomplishes her own self-vilification. Just listen to this entitled nonsense justifying the tax payer picking up the tab for her Paris Vacay.

Trudeau’s National Security Adviser & Deputy Minister Of Foreign Affairs Leaked Sensitive Intelligence Info About India To Washington Post

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s national security adviser and the deputy minister of foreign affairs provided sensitive intelligence about India to The Washington Post days before the RCMP publicly alleged that Indian government agents have been linked to homicides, extortions and other violent criminal activities in Canada, two sources say.

The leak to the U.S. publication about the killing of a Winnipeg Sikh leader and the role of India’s Home Secretary in violent acts in Canada stands in contrast to Mr. Trudeau’s view of leaks of classified information on China’s interference activities. Last week, he told the public inquiry into foreign interference that “a criminal leaked classified information” about China’s meddling in 2023 to The Globe and Mail.

So Justin and his girlfriend leaked intelligence data to stamp out the anti-Trudeau mutiny.

Father-of-four rioter Peter Lynch dies in prison after being jailed for two years for violent disorder after screaming at police, shouting racist abuse and calling asylum seekers ‘child killers’ during anti-immigration riots

A jailed anti-immigration rioter who shouted racist abuse and called asylum seekers ‘child killers’ during protests outside a hotel has died in prison.

Peter Lynch, 61, a father of four, died on Saturday night at HMP Moorland near Doncaster, in south Yorkshire, the prison service confirmed.

He was serving a two year and eight months prison term after being jailed in August. The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman (PPO) is now carrying out an independent investigation into his death.

Canadian-Made Fentanyl Increasingly Being Shipped Overseas: Global Affairs

Fentanyl made in Canada by criminals is increasingly being shipped to international markets, according to a briefing note from the department of foreign affairs.

“Seizures of Canada-sourced fentanyl in places like the U.S. and Australia suggest that domestic production is likely exceeding domestic demand, and that Canada is now a source (and transit) country for fentanyl to some markets,” said the briefing note from June, which was first obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter.

To justify the existence of these departments, academics focused on sexual orientation and gender have found it useful to stir up a little controversy here and there. The most recent such provocation is the notion that the semi-mythical warlord/king Arthur, a central figure of the founding of Britain, the epitome of knightly valor and prowess, and arguably the most legendary hero in all of Western literature, may have been LGBTQ, according to a Welsh county council.
