Teachers will be taught to challenge “whiteness” in lessons.

Guidance has been created for teacher-training courses, to ensure future educators are “anti-racist” and prepared to implement this in the classroom.

Teachers will be instructed in how to “disrupt the centrality of whiteness” in schools, according to a best-practice document.

The term “whiteness” in critical race theory refers to social attitudes considered normal by white people, and guidance suggests that concepts including “meritocracy”, “objectivity” and “individualism” should be questioned.

Money woes, harassment pose barriers to diversifying Ont. politics, study finds

New research is highlighting harassment and a lack of financial resources as two common barriers for diverse candidates in Ontario municipal politics.

Titled Mapping the Experiences of Diverse Candidates Running for Municipal Office in Ontario, the project was commissioned by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and released during their annual conference in Ottawa earlier this month.

Its results were compiled from a mix of approaches, including interviews, survey responses and focus groups. There were a total of 118 participants.

Apparently we should be footing the bill for “minority candidates.”

Biden-Harris Department of Energy official calls for ‘queering nuclear weapons’ as part of radical DEI agenda

A recent hire at the nuclear security wing of the Department of Energy has previously called for disarmament policies – which reduce or eliminate nuclear weapons – arguing that advancing “queer theory” was essential to that agenda as well as important to America’s national security.

The Biden-Harris administration announced Sneha Nair had been appointed as special assistant at the National Nuclear Security Administration in February 2024. Nair believes in eradicating purported “White supremacy” in the nuclear field as well as “queering nuclear weapons” as part of a diversity, equity and inclusion push she believes is essential for deterring threats to nuclear energy facilities in the U.S.

In the Danish city of Sønderborg, which skirts the border of Denmark and Germany, a seventeen-year-old girl was walking near the local migrant center when she was grabbed and thrown to the ground by a man who then attempted to undress her.

Fortunately, the young girl was able to fend him off by pepper-spraying him. Her attacker ran off and remains at large. But the important thing was that she avoided being raped, right? Hallelujah!

Notting Hill Carnival ‘seen as opportunity to commit crime’, admits Met Police

The Notting Hill Carnival is seen as a chance to commit crime, a senior Scotland Yard officer has admitted.

Commander Charmain Brenyah, the Met’s spokesman for the carnival, made the admission as the Met prepares to deploy 7,000 officers to keep the peace.

Eight people were stabbed, police officers were assaulted and 275 arrests were made during the event in 2023, prompting politicians to call for changes.

Green foods fail the Olympics…and everyone else

The first occupants of the Olympics village in Paris quickly taught the caterers that athletes did not favor their “climate-friendly” diet of things like avocados on toast plus almond-milk coffee.  The athletes demanded more meat and eggs.

Paris Olympics CEO Etienne Thobois told reporters they suddenly needed more animal protein, causing them to order “700 kilos of eggs and a ton of meat, to meet the demands of the athletes.”
