Calgary crews continue to search for the source of a “catastrophic” break in a feeder water main that’s plunged the city’s water supply into a critical state.
The large water main — as wide as two metres in parts — suffered a break Wednesday night that left hundreds of homes and businesses in the city’s northwest without water.
During an update Thursday afternoon, the city said Calgary remains under Stage 4 water restrictions, meaning mandatory outdoor water restrictions remain in effect.
So easy to cripple a city?
I admit, I don’t understand how it all works so I have questions.
A water main break in NW Calgary has now put all 1.5 million residents under a severe water restriction status where they can’t even shower.
We don’t know how long this will last.
So how is it that one water…

MSNBC host Joy Reid faced her greatest nightmare during Wednesday’s episode of The ReidOut. She described Republican movements in several states attempting to revive traditional values, warning about the apparent tragedy that would result should these standards be restored in society. And despite being the one who sees the world in the racial tones of black and white, she ridiculously claimed a GOP governor “banned color.”

Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus says he wants police to take harassment and threatening behaviour complaints seriously after charges against a man accused of uttering death threats against him and his staff were thrown out due to evidence being lost.
The New Democrat MP said he had been subpoenaed to testify at the trial in Kirkland Lake, Ont., last week when he received a call cancelling his appearance.
In a court recording obtained by CBC, the Crown prosecutor told Justice Joseph Gilbert Raoul Maille that the evidence had gone missing.

His incompetence, impotence and now incontinence are just too much
Where is Dandy Don Meredith when we need him? Someone should be singing, “Turn out the lights, the party’s over,” because Joe Biden’s presidency must end. His appearance at the D-Day commemoration at Normandy was certainly the final proof that he cannot continue no matter how hard his staff tries to hold him up.
The American press gave Biden a pass, but the Brits were under no pressure from a vengeful deep state to toe any line.
The Mirror reported, “Joe Biden sparks concern as onlookers fear he ‘pooped his pants’ after he ‘can’t figure out’ how to sit down.

Monika Magashazi is a fighter. The 52-year old trans woman lives in Hungary — a country that has been ruled by Viktor Orban’s nationalist Fidesz party since 2010.
For transgender communities, the situation “has been becoming worse and worse and, unfortunately, we are desperate today in Hungary,” she told DW. She said the government was trying to portray trans people as pedophiles and criminals, using seemingly every opportunity to discriminate against them.

Some are corrupt.
Some are merely incompetent.
