A former Baltimore city prosecutor who achieved a national profile for charging police officers in a Black man’s death was spared prison time in her sentence on Thursday for perjury and mortgage fraud.
Former state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby’s sentence includes 12 months of home confinement, 100 hours of community service and three years of supervised release.
After the sentencing hearing, Mosby hugged her supporters, some of whom applauded when the judge announced the sentence. “I’m just so incredibly grateful,” Mosby told dozens of supporters outside the courthouse. “This is not over, but God was here today.”
Baltimore is so crooked.
OTTAWA—The Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s addition of ribbon skirts to its uniform is being viewed as ignorant of the force’s history with Indigenous people rather than the symbol of reconciliation that it is being presented as.
On Wednesday, RCMP Commissioner Mike Duheme announced on X, formerly Twitter, the addition of ribbon skirts, along with the eagle feather and Métis sash already in use, to “demonstrate the RCMP’s values of reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion.”
I thought it was a Gay flag.

Who’s ready for the nation to be covered in rainbows again this year?
Apparently Walmart is, as it just released its newest collection for its gay clothing options this pride month. While the store seemed elated about its new clothes, users on social media, who are arguably tired of woke crap being literally everywhere, blasted not only the collection but Walmart as a whole.

Can the RCMP turn North America’s largest law enforcement vehicle fleet green? They’re about to find out.
As Canada’s national police service, the RCMP falls under Ottawa’s Greening Government Strategy — a commitment to lower the environmental footprint of the federal government and get it to net‑zero emissions by 2050.
The strategy calls on the RCMP to replace as many of their approximately 12,000 cars and trucks with zero-emission vehicles as operationally possible by 2035.
