A Hamas-themed birthday cake for a four-year-old Australian boy featuring a notorious terrorist surrounded by Palestinian flags has sparked fury.
The Sydney, Australia bakery which made the cake, and proudly posted pictures of it online, has since deleted its social media, with the Australian Federal Police now investigating.

The son of a man who was accused in the Air India bombing of 1985 has been officially warned by the RCMP that his life could be under threat, CBC News has learned.
Hardeep Malik, a businessman in Surrey, B.C., is the son of Ripudaman Singh Malik, who was acquitted in 2005 of mass murder and conspiracy charges related to a pair of bombings in 1985 that killed 331 people.
Singh Malik was gunned down outside his office in Surrey on July 14, 2022. Two men have since been charged in his murder.

Montreal police arrested a suspect Wednesday in connection with shots fired against a Jewish school in Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce last fall.
Abdirazak Mahdi Ahmed, 20, of Les Cèdres, appeared before a Quebec Court judge at the Montreal courthouse where he was charged with intentionally discharging a firearm, on Nov. 12, at a location knowing that a person might be inside. He is also charged with theft and receiving stolen vehicles, and committing mischief on Nov. 9.
