US military admits it has lost $80m stealth jet

Marine Corps put out appeal for missing aircraft after pilot ejects over South Carolina

Most public appeals seek help in finding lost pets or wedding rings – but the US military is asking for sightings of a missing $80 million (£65 million) fighter jet.

On Sunday, a Marine Corps pilot ejected out of an F-35 Lightning II during a “mishap” over South Carolina.

The pilot parachuted into a neighbourhood in North Charleston and was taken to a medical centre but the whereabouts of the plane is unknown.

Columbia quietly closes down Teachers College project that ruined countless lives

Columbia University is trying to quietly walk away from a disaster it imposed on generations of American children.

The least we can do is call out the damage done.

Just before the Labor Day weekend, Columbia announced that it’s “dissolving” the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project and sending its creator, Lucy Calkins, off on indefinite sabbatical.

All teacher’s colleges are run by degenerate commie shitbags.

Rescue of $3M boring machine trapped under Toronto street delayed again as recovery costs skyrocket

The rescue of a multi-million dollar boring machine trapped beneath a west Toronto street has been delayed again, with the city warning it might not be the last set-back before the project is wrapped.

City staff told residents last month that the project, which was supposed to have been completed this fall, is instead expected be finished by December. Some additional restoration of the street — Old Mill Drive near Bloor Street West — will not take place until the spring.

“Everyone in the neighbourhood is just feeling increasingly frustrated,” resident Tanya Boswick said. “It feels as though this project is just never going to end.”

Don’t use terms like ‘women’ in article about periods, sanitary pad firm ‘told website’

Writer claims her article had to be changed to be more inclusive to transgender people because it was sponsored by Always

Always, the sanitary pad firm, told a parenting website to remove the words “women”, “girls” and “females” from a period advice article, a women’s health writer has claimed.

The period pad manufacturer is alleged to have asked parenting website Good To Know to remove gendered language from an article about teenage girls’ first menstruation to avoid offending transgender people.

The site allegedly removed words including “girls” and “women” from an article sponsored by Always to ensure the content remained “inclusive”, women’s health writer Milli Hill has claimed.

Astonishing scenes from Justin Trudeau’s flailing Liberals

The federal Liberals are in big trouble and they clearly don’t know what to do about it. But by God they’re game to try anything, not least on social media. And so it was on Wednesday afternoon that Whitby, Ont. MP Ryan Turnbull (or someone on his behalf) took to the keyboard to assail Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre’s housing policy.

“Poilievre’s plan is to cut funding to municipalities so he can intimidate them into building more homes,” Turnbull lamented. “We are already making historic investments in housing, knowing there is much more to do and we are focused on tackling this crisis head-on,”

Trudeau spews progressive gibberish

Trudeau says progressive parties must prioritize everyday needs over lofty rhetoric

“If we’re not responding to where people are [in their] daily life, then we’re not going to be connecting with them,” Trudeau told the panel, which also included Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern and former Finnish prime minister Sanna Marin.

The progressive promise of a better, fairer world, Trudeau continued, is too aspirational to resonate with people who may be struggling to afford their basic needs.

Trudeau must be so disconnected from reality that he is blind to the fact his government has turned Canada into a shithole state.
