More people than expected are dying in Canada in 2023 for reasons that are not yet clear

COVID-19 case counts are down dramatically from a year ago, according to federal data. Hospitalizations are higher than during the first two pandemic summers, but are hovering around their lowest point since December, 2021. And there are now fewer than 30 COVID-19 deaths reported across the country per week.

But owing to limited testing and COVID-19 deaths that are undetected or not yet reported, the real toll COVID-19 continues to take on Canadians is not yet known.

The left is upset Poilievre stole their WEF conspiracy theories

An embarrassing attempt at journalism from the usually upright Canadian Press over the weekend was desperate to convince readers that Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is moving conspiracy theories from “the fringes of the internet to mainstream thinking.” It didn’t offer a single piece of evidence to support this thesis.

The real life Da Vinci Code? Historian uncovers graves belonging to members of the Knights Templar in Staffordshire

Graves belonging to members of the Knights Templar – a mysterious holy militia that sprang up in the 12th century – have been uncovered at an English village church in one of the ‘most nationally important discoveries’ of its kind.

The medieval order, which had chapters across Europe, including in Britain, were known for their role in the Crusades and as one of the Middle Ages’ most powerful and wealthy religious organisations.

Historian Edward Spencer Dyas made the Da Vinci Code-style discovery of eight Knights Templar graves at St Mary’s Church in Enville, Staffordshire.

Gender-confused woman demands to be declared ‘father’ of toddler she’s not related to

The New Brunswick Family Court must consider the claims of a gender-confused woman who claims to be the father of another woman’s child.

On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, the precedence-setting custody case for “Pip” began in front of a “Master” of the New Brunswick Family Court. The Master of the court heard claims from representatives of both the child’s biological parents and the gender-confused woman about rights of “parentage” and custody over two-and-a-half-year-old Pip. The outcome of the day’s proceedings was that Pip would be traded back and forth in a chaotic and confusing custody schedule while awaiting another hearing to determine a permanent schedule until the case goes to trial, likely more than a year from now. Meanwhile, during the child’s most formative and vulnerable years, Pip will be forced to go to and from an abusive and manipulative home to which he has no relationship or connection. The boy has already developed behavioral tics and is showing signs of extreme stress.

New Disney show ‘Pauline’ features teenage girl who gets pregnant after one-night stand with Satan

It has become somewhat passé to complain about the Walt Disney Company. Once a titan of American storytelling, Disney has gone from producing culture to pushing the cultural revolution. Disney has pushed for abortion across the U.S. and offers employees full coverage for expenses if they wish to travel to procure an abortion and has championed the LGBT agenda, as well. Their content reflects this. They have promoted a drag queen special for children; launched a bisexual teen character who dabbles in witchcraft; and has committed to pushing LGBT characters in its content.
