Why would FIFA want the Saudis to sponsor the Women’s World Cup?

The Kingdom is hardly a bastion of women’s rights

In July and August, Australia and New Zealand are hosts of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

It could not be a better opportunity for the sport. Soccer in Australia at the professional level lags well behind Australian Rules Football and rugby league when it comes to profile and broadcast attention. And in New Zealand the round-ball game has a permanently uphill challenge to compete with the unofficial state religion, rugby. The tournament is therefore a huge deal for the two host associations — and the culmination of years of planning and hard work.

Mark Levin: ‘Why are Democrats tolerating Farrakhan’s antisemitism?’

Fox News host Mark Levin accused Democrats of “tolerating” anti-Semitism, criticizing Democratic leaders for remaining silent over Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s recent Saviours’ Day event late last month.

From February 24th through the 26th, the Nation of Islam held its annual conference in Chicago, the first large-scale gathering the group has held since the COVID pandemic.

During the conference, Farrakhan repeatedly castigated Jews, condemning “Jewish power” and attacking the “synagogue of Satan.”

Farrakhan is tolerated because he’s Obama Adjacent and some disapora Jews like to fantasize about the imaginary special bond forged in the civil rights era.

Cops Harass Parents Who Let 6-Year-Old Daughter Take a Walk Outside, Arrest Dad

This fall, just as Keith Kaplan was finishing up his first term as a town councilman in the New York suburb of Teaneck, New Jersey, he proposed a Reasonable Childhood Independence bill. It states that when parents allow kids to perform age-old independent activities, like walking or playing outside, they are not committing negligence unless the kids are in obvious, serious, and likely danger.

For Kaplan, the bill is especially important. That’s because of an incident he witnessed involving his friends, their daughter, and the police.

NBC’s Todd: DeSantis Teaching Dangers of Communism is ‘Politicizing’

On NBC’s Meet the Press, moderator and former Democrat Party staffer Chuck Todd accused Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis of playing politics when he told an audience during a trip to Las Vegas that as governor, his state was the first in the country to establish November 10 as the day where Florida schools teach students at all grade levels about the dangers of communism. This clearly upset Todd who seemed to realize this will make children less likely to grow up and vote Democrat since that’s the party closest on the political spectrum to communism.

The B.C. Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres has called for a public apology after an employee at a Vancouver hotel denied an Indigenous man access to a washroom, which they say resulted him losing control of his bladder in front of onlookers.

The general manager of the Hyatt Regency Hotel says it conducted an internal investigation after the association reported an incident last month.

20 seconds? Canada where the shakedowns never stop! Why didn’t he pee on his unceded indigenous land in the parking lot?

UK Scientists Propose Rationing To Combat Climate Change

Many unique measures have been proposed in recent months in the name of protecting our planet, including shifting to a more bug-based diet or, taking notes from much of the world’s response to COVID, imposing “climate lockdowns.” Scientists from the University of Leeds, however, suggest the answer can be found even further back than 2020 and argue that political leaders should consider “World War II-style rationing.”
