Men who eat meat should be banned from having sex, the animal rights group Peta has demanded, claiming that devouring sausages and schnitzel is a symptom of “toxic masculinity” which is killing the planet.
Peta’s German operation cited research from the scientific journal PLOS One which showed that men caused 41 per cent more greenhouse gas emissions than women largely because they consumed more meat.
Peta demanded a “sex ban for all meat-eating men” and called on women to “go on sex strike to save the world”.
Amazon-owned MGM’s Ring Nation show hasn’t debuted yet and has already generated controversy from leftist activist groups who believe the series will glorify digital surveillance culture. Now come accusations that the light-hearted show — think America’s Funniest Home Videos but based around Amazon Ring security cameras — is racist, with claims that it will harm “black and brown people.”

A Canadian teacher from Ontario made the bizarre claim that basic mathematical equations such as 2+2=4 is somehow a form of “white supremacy.”
Heather Theijsmeijer, who serves as a math coordinator in Ontario, recently posted on Twitter, “There are many math education practices that we (white folk) don’t see as racist or supremacist.”
“Because they are so ingrained in our background and experiences (and we have been the ones to benefit from them.)”

Saying it “can do better,” the City of Toronto has pulled a video ad campaign designed to encourage families to vaccinate their kids.
In the last couple of months in Park Slope — the baby bjorn-wearing capital of bourgeois-bohemian New York — a thief absconded with $200,000 worth of jewelry in a smash and grab, three boys stole a bunch of iPhones off of subway riders, a ticked off customer attacked the owner of a bike store, $6,000 was stolen from an auto shop, and a beloved pet was catnapped from a bodega on Seventh Avenue.
But it was the death of a golden retriever mix named Moose that activated the residents of the South Brooklyn enclave.

The burden, after the hoax of Russiagate, is on The New York Times to prove that its reporting on Russia is not fraudulent, is not a forgery, is not an anti-Russian variation on the anti-Semitic theme of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Accordingly, today’s story about Russian trolling of the Women’s March (against Trump) and the pushback against Linda Sarsour for her anti-Semitism for purpose of causing chaos (NYT forgot the sowing discord part) is facially not believable. (Since when have Russians made anti-Semites uncomfortable?)
September 19, the lead story in The New York Times carried this headline in the print edition: “Trolls in Russia Schemed to Divide Women’s March.”

Ashes to ashes, dust to … dirt?
Californians looking to honor the Earth even after death will soon be able to choose to have their remains composted in the Golden State.
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill Sunday that will allow human compost burials, or natural organic reduction (NOR), in the state beginning in 2027.
We Minnesotans pride ourselves for having good intentions and good government. It is an unearned conceit. The reality is that we are chumps, and despite this being proven again and again, we never learn.

Bizarre: The youth wing of the ruling German Social Democrats (SPD) in Berlin has called on public broadcasters to show pornography in their media catalogues, arguing broadcasters should carry “anti-racist and feminist” pornography films.

The chief operating officer of the vegan food company Beyond Meat has been arrested for “terroristic threatening” after allegedly biting a man’s nose during an argument.
Douglas Ramsey, 53, got in to a dispute with a driver on Saturday evening as he left a car park in Fayetteville, Arkansas after a football game.
He was at the car park when a Subaru inched in front of his Bronco, coming into contact with the front tyre on the passenger’s side, according to a report by local station KNWA/KFTA.

OTTAWA – A new poll suggests a plurality of Canadians still believe Justin Trudeau is still the best man for the job of prime minister, but he has only a slight lead over new Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
Leger has released the findings of an online survey conducted over the weekend with around 1,500 respondents.
The results suggest the Liberals’ popularity has declined since one year ago, when Trudeau was re-elected for a second time to form a minority government.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi spoke out during his first interview with a Western reporter Sunday, telling 60 Minutes that Israel is a ‘malignant cancerous tumor’ and claiming the ‘Holocaust probably happened’ but it needs to ‘be investigated and researched.’
President Ebrahim Raisi, whose full name is Ebrahīm Raʾīs al-Sādātī, 60, was elected to the presidency in August 2021 and became the country’s eighth president.
When asked if he believed the Holocaust happened, Iranian President Raisi told Lesley Stahl, “There are some signs that it happened. If so, they should allow it to be investigated and researched.” https://t.co/CChTRxBFcr pic.twitter.com/7ZSBEknrh1

If politicians and police forces don’t want to see a repeat of this winter’s protest in Ottawa, they would be well-served to take a step back and try to understand why the protests happened rather than obsessively trying to chase down and punish citizens who were found to be supportive of them.
The witch hunt being carried out against Const. Kristina Neilson of the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) who allegedly donated to the Freedom Convoy is only entrenching division and mistrust among Canadians.
