U.S. and Canada might not reach trade deal, Trump says

The United States may not reach a negotiated trade deal with Canada, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday, suggesting his administration could set a tariff rate unilaterally.

Trump, speaking to reporters as he left the White House for a trip to Scotland, said: “We haven’t really had a lot of luck with Canada. I think Canada could be one where there’s just a tariff, not really a negotiation.”

France to recognise Palestinian state at UN general assembly

France will formally recognise a Palestinian state at the United Nations general assembly in September, President Macron has announced.

The announcement came with Macron due to hold emergency talks on Gaza with Sir Keir Starmer and Friedrich Merz, the German chancellor, on Friday.

Netanyahu to Macron: Palestinian state would be launch pad to annihilate Israel

Next? One of these I suspect – Germany, Belgium, England.

14 Year Old Dead Eyed Demon Likely To Serve 4 Year’s Max

Facing a whole 4 Year sentence

The Supreme Court just made it much more difficult to sentence youth offenders as adults

The 14-year-old charged in the fatal stabbing of a senior in a Toronto parking lot will serve, at most, four years in prison if convicted of second-degree murder. Four years – roughly the time it takes to finish a degree, or renew a mortgage term – a blink of time compared to the 71 years that the accused allegedly extinguished because Shahnaz Pestonji would not give up her car keys. Ms. Pestonji was stabbed and killed in an unprovoked attack in broad daylight when she was loading groceries into her car last week. The accused allegedly fled the scene, and later, appeared to go live on his Instagram feed, where he discussed the incident and also danced around to rap, flashing an apparent firearm.

Washington Acts on Muslim Brotherhood—While Brussels Looks Away

For a good number of European nations, taking the threat posed by the Muslim Brotherhood “seriously” means launching investigations and (eventually) releasing reports. Meanwhile, it appears Washington may be about to show them how it should be done—by designating the Brotherhood as a terrorist group outright.

Senator Ted Cruz plans to introduce a bill after last month’s antisemitic attack in Colorado, which was reportedly carried out by a supporter of the Islamist group which is working to infiltrate Western societies.

Vancouver Airport Introduces ‘Therapy Ponies’ to Reduce Passenger Anxiety

The Vancouver International Airport has introduced miniature ponies as part of its Less Airport Stress Initiative.

The airport introduced the program in 2017 to “reduce travel anxiety” and “enhance well-being” among passengers at the airport. It has also featured therapy dogs, according to the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) website.

YVR said it was the first airport in North America to offer such a passenger care program.

This will not end well.

Ghislaine Maxwell interviewed by DoJ

The Trump administration is meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell on Thursday to discuss what she knows about her paedophile ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein and his associates.

Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, will visit the British socialite at a jail in Tallahassee, Florida, following a request from President Donald Trump to release “all credible evidence” related to the paedophile financier.

Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in helping Epstein recruit and abuse underage girls, is the only person to have ever been convicted in connection with his crimes.

REMPEL GARNER: Young Canadians losing jobs to robots and ‘temporary’ foreign workers

Last week, Globe and Mail columnist Andrew Coyne penned a column about the federal government’s immigration levels entitled “A shrinking population is hardly what this country needs right now.”

His thesis would have been at least notionally credible if he had addressed two obvious problems. But there’s a third problem that no one, including Coyne, seems to be internalizing.

Hockey Canada sex assault complainant ‘very disappointed’ with judge’s assessment of her honesty, lawyer says

Five former members of Canada’s world junior hockey team were acquitted of sexual assault on Thursday following a high-profile trial involving one complainant, identified only as E.M. due to a publication ban. Ontario Superior Court Justice Maria Carroccia found Michael McLeod, Carter Hart, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube and Callan Foote not guilty of sexual assault after saying that the complainant’s testimony was not found to be “either credible or reliable.”

‘This Should NOT Be Included’ — Read Intel Officials’ Objections To ‘Extremely Sketchy’ Steele Dossier

Senior intelligence officials strenuously fought the demands of former FBI Director James Comey and other Obama intelligence chiefs to include the false and unverified Steele dossier in an official assessment of Russian activities ordered by President Barack Obama in the closing weeks of his presidency, records reviewed exclusively by The Federalist show. The records, which are related to ongoing criminal investigations into Comey and other top intelligence officials for their roles in launching the Russia collusion hoax, provide damning evidence of Obama intelligence chiefs’ malfeasance beyond the explosive information released Wednesday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Zelensky’s power grab threatens Ukraine’s future

For the first time since Russia’s 2022 invasion, large-scale protests filled Kyiv’s streets this week. The immediate cause was President Volodymyr Zelensky’s decision to sign a new law which guts the independence of the country’s anti-corruption bodies, placing them under the oversight of his hand-picked appointee. This has not come out of the blue. Instead, it appears to be part of a larger effort to consolidate his own power, and follows a major bureaucratic shake-up which merged several ministries and shuffled his top advisors.

The Enemy Within: The Billion Dollar Chinese Grow House Industry

It’s a billion-dollar industry, illegal and controlled by Chinese mafia networks in quiet rural and suburban neighborhoods across America. If that weren’t concerning enough, it also involves drugs, money laundering, illegal immigration, slave labor, and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) extensive influence in the American heartland. It includes illegal marijuana cultivation in states where the drug has been legalized, and a major FBI bust of a grow house network in New England has shocked the nation with details of the massive scale of marijuana production used to generate profits routed back to China.

The New Dangers of the Woke Left

The nomination of the radical leftist Zohran Mamdani for mayor of New York City, arguably the capital of global capitalism, is a flashing beacon of the Democrats’ disorder since the election. Mamdani (pictured above) is a self-confessed socialist, and an objectively antisemitic hater of Israel, who wants to “globalize the intifada,” the word denoting Palestinian Arab terrorism and murder.
