Ontario roller derby teams cancel trips to U.S., say 2-gender rule makes it ‘unsafe’ for the men on women’s teams

Some Ontario roller derby teams say they won’t travel to the United States this year to compete because the current climate makes it “unsafe” for their athletes.

Teams in Waterloo region, Guelph, Toronto, Hamilton and Ottawa have said they will skip bouts in the U.S.

On Sunday, Tri-City Roller Derby in Waterloo region issued a statement saying U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order recognizing only two genders — male and female — does “not allow the accurate reflection of gender expression on government documents.”

Outrage Over Measly Sentences for Attackers Behind Post-Soccer Match ‘Jew Hunt’ in Amsterdam

A Dutch criminal court on Wednesday sentenced four men behind the “Jew hunt” attack against Israeli soccer fans that rocked Amsterdam last November, though the lenient prison terms are drawing outrage from the Jewish community in Europe.

“The prison terms of the sentences are so mild that the Dutch legal system actually incentivizes the ‘Jew hunters’ for another round of hunting,” an Israeli-dutch parliamentarian, Gidi Markuszower, said in response to the sentences. “It’s very clear that mainstream media and mainly politicians from the left are more comfortable providing cover for their fellow antisemites than protecting the Jews here in the Netherlands.”

A Fifth of Canadian Companies Eye Relocation to the US Amid Tariff Concerns: Poll

Whatever happened to the All-Canadian Stronachmobile?

Some Canadian companies are considering a move to the United States as a strategy to evade tariffs and protect the future of their businesses, a new survey suggests.

Nineteen percent of the 283 Canadian companies that participated in the survey indicated they would consider relocating part or all of their production to the United States to safeguard the sustainability of their operations, the survey from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Canada found.

Many of the businesses considering a move south of the border were from the industrial and automotive industries.

NAVARRO-GENIE: Liberals offer another prime minister who’s ‘just not ready’

Mark Carney is the freshly anointed Prime Minister of Canada. He has stepped before the press, hyper guarded, unpolished, and — perhaps most revealingly — unprepared for scrutiny. A man who has spent decades basking in the adulation of elite banking circles along with Vatican and United Nations gatherings, now faces a different beast: democratic accountability.

You’d Never Know From Corrupt Media That The ‘Student’ Facing Deportation Is A Hamas Chief’s Son-In-Law

The propaganda press continues to play fast and loose with the truth, and nowhere is that more apparent than in their coverage of the Trump administration’s efforts to detain yet another terrorist sympathizer living in the United States. This time, it’s Badar Khan Suri, a man with ties to a senior Hamas official — but you wouldn’t necessarily glean that from the deliberately misleading headlines and articles.

We’ll Never Have an Energy Transition

In his March 4 address to Congress, President Trump proclaimed that he had “terminated the ridiculous Green New Scam,” referring to assorted Biden-era Green New Deal policies directed at an “energy transition.” The weekend before, the Wall Street Journal featured a lengthy essay with a title seemingly calibrated to pre-bunk Trump’s expected remarks: “The Clean Energy Revolution Is Unstoppable.” The authors, two Oxford professors, asserted that the “clean energy revolution is being driven by fundamental technological and economic forces that are too strong to stop,” and that “large segments of fossil fuel demand will permanently disappear . . . in the next two decades.” Two weeks later, the Wall Street Journal featured another op-ed, this one coauthored by former vice president Al Gore, proclaiming the “energy transition is inevitable.”

So, which is it? Inevitable or a “scam?”

While Carney locked in net-zero zealotry, Poilievre pushes prosperity

Ensuring Canada’s economy remains resilient in the face of tariffs and other economic threats from Donald Trump requires much more than just counter-tariffs. That’s why the announcement by Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre in Sudbury on Wednesday was so important.

Poilievre said that if the Conservatives were elected, his government would approve all permits for the Ring of Fire within six months and commit $1 billion for road construction to connect that area of Northern Ontario to the province’s road system.

Five Takeaways From the New JFK Assassination Files

The Trump administration on Tuesday released more than 30,000 pages of previously classified or censored documents relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, providing insight into some of the Central Intelligence Agency’s most sensitive operations over decades. The documents are digitized paper documents going back to the 1960s, with faded typewritten text and handwritten notes.

The Warren Commission in 1964 found that Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald and that Oswald acted alone. In the years since, a raft of alternate theories have bubbled up, fueled in part by the CIA’s own secrecy in the investigation.

Tommy Robinson kept in isolation ‘over murder threats after conflict with Muslim prisoners’

Tommy Robinson is being kept in isolation over fears he could be killed in a prison with a “significant Muslim population”, a court has heard.

The 42-year-old would be in danger at HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes if he was moved out of segregation as there were tensions between “Muslims and non-Muslims” which would be “inflamed” by his presence, Ministry of Justice officials said.

At the High Court on Thursday, his lawyers requested he be allowed to bring a legal challenge over his isolation arguing that it was a breach of his human rights.

How Canada’s elites are exploiting Trump’s trade war

The ruling Liberal Party has cynically reinvented itself as a patriotic protector of the people.

Once again, Canada is in an emergency. The situation is dire. This will be a difficult time. Canadians are going to suffer enormously. This is because we are at war. We will need to band together and fight back against this unforeseen threat.

This, at least, is what our elected officials have been telling us after Canada began retaliating in the trade war with the US. The same message has been repeated in various ways by leaders across the political spectrum, from Canada’s newly anointed prime minister, the Liberal Party’s Mark Carney, to his main rival, Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre.

The World Happiness Report is a sham

Today is World Happiness Day. So, like every year on 20 March, you are likely to see a lot of headlines reporting on the publication of the annual World Happiness Report. ‘Finland is again ranked the happiest country in the world [while] the US falls to its lowest-ever position’, a headline in the Associated Press ran this morning. Forbes even got philosophical, promising ‘5 Life Lessons From Finland, Once Again the World’s Happiest Country’.

Published by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network and the Wellbeing Research Centre at Oxford University, the basic message of the report has remained the same since its launch in 2012. The happiest countries in the world are in Scandinavia; this year, Finland is followed by Denmark, Iceland and Sweden. America, despite being one of the richest large countries in the world, persistently underperforms: this year, the United States only comes in 24th out of the 147 countries covered in the report, placing it behind much poorer countries like Lithuania and Costa Rica. The United Kingdom has also experienced a steady decline in the league table; ranked as the 13th happiest country in the world at its peak, it has now declined to 23rd position.

COOPER: Is it Europe’s anti-democratic tendencies that attracts Mark Carney?

The picture of Mark Carney with French President Emmanuel Macron showed him with his left hand draped around Macron’s left shoulder, his right held by both Macron’s. The wattage of their collective smiles could light up a coal mine. Clearly, they are best buds.

Carney had the same grin on his face when he met the King. The monarch, however, had an ironic smile when looking down his nose at his former servant, the governor of the Bank of England. Carney did crack a joke: “bit of a disaster today, sir. My Order of Canada pin broke.” Poor Mark. Charles then quipped: “do you want mine?”

Pam Bondi Makes Major Announcement Regarding Tesla Terrorists

U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced a slew of severe charges Thursday against several violent far-left arsonists who allegedly attacked separate Tesla sites across the country.

A trio of anti-Musk agitators are federally charged over the destruction of these Tesla properties. All three suspects will “face the full force of the law” for allegedly using Molotov cocktails to firebomb Tesla cars and charging stations, according to a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) press release.
