Don’t wear ‘terrorist’ fancy dress to carnivals, warn German police

As millions of Germans get ready to celebrate the annual pre-Lent carnival season, police have increased security after a spate of deadly attacks and have warned the public not to dress up as police officers or carry replica guns as part of their costumes.

The city of Cologne, one of the main bastions of the Karneval traditions, has said it will deploy all available officers on the streets starting on Thursday, Weiberfastnacht or Old Wives’ Day, when the week-long season starts in earnest. There are street parties and women are allowed to cut off men’s ties and storm town halls with impunity.

Zizian cult defector believed to have died in 2022 has been in hiding, fearing maniac vegan group’s revenge

A former Zizian cult member widely believed to have died by suicide is actually alive and hiding from the “dangerous” group, The Post can reveal.

Gwen Danielson was thought to have died in 2022 even by a lawyer representing her in an active case, but has instead been lying low at an undisclosed location.

Danielson — who, like many Zizians, is transgender and legally became a woman in 2017, according to court papers — still “fears for her life,” according to her father, Brett Danielson.

Opening of Arctic naval refuelling facility in limbo, DND acknowledges

ICE Station Trudeau

The opening of a Canadian naval refuelling facility in the Arctic scheduled for later this year now appears to be in limbo.

The Nanisivik Naval Facility was announced in 2007 by Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper as a new docking and refuelling installation that would support Royal Canadian Navy ships in Arctic operations. It was envisioned as operating year-round with a deep water port and airstrip to boost Canadian sovereignty in the region.

US Intel Chief Tulsi Gabbard Declares ‘Radical Islamist Terrorism’ Most Urgent National Security Threat

US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard warned in a recent interview that “radical Islamist terrorism” poses the greatest threat to the safety of the American people, potentially shedding light on her priorities as she starts the job of leading the vast American intelligence community.

While speaking with Fox News host Lara Trump, a daughter-in-law of US President Donald Trump, Gabbard dismissed the declaration made in 2021 by then-Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that white supremacists pose the greatest national security threat to the United States. Instead, Gabbard asserted that Americans face a greater safety threat from “radical Islamist terrorism.”

Doug Ford Eyes Ontario Electricity Exports as Way to ‘Hit Back’ Against US Tariffs

Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford is musing about making Americans pay more for the electricity Ontario sends to the United States, in response to any levies President Donald Trump imposes on Canadian goods and services.

“We’re reviewing the cost of electricity we’re sending down there. And if he puts tariffs on anything in Canada or Ontario, they’re getting a tariff on their electricity,” Ford said at a campaign stop in Ottawa on Tuesday.

Should be fun when the US shuts down the Line 5 oil pipeline.

DC swamp dwellers panic and flee the swamp

There are several pithy phrases that well describe the ignoble actions of people with guilty consciences: “rats leaving a sinking ship,” and “cockroaches scurrying under the fridge when the kitchen lights come on,” among them. Of course, that kind of flight requires self-awareness and actual consciences, qualities lacking in our Democrat/socialist/communist (D/s/c) self-imagined elite, but I’m sure you take my meaning.

We know the Internet is essentially forever. Not only are those really stupid, unfunny jokes we posted on Facebook at 16 likely to haunt us in adulthood, so too are those nude photos we once thought the height of artistic merit or were merely posted to annoy people.

Why I’ve decided to take legal action against the police

Since I was confronted over a tweet, thousands more non-crime hate incidents have been recorded. Someone has to fight this nonsense

What do we have to do to make the police obey the law, the rulings of the highest courts in the land? It is extraordinary that such a question needs to be asked, but ask it we must. In the past few days, I have been astonished to hear that senior members of the College of Policing have suggested a response to public “confusion” over non-crime hate incidents, partly triggered by my own case, is to – wait for it – change the name of non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs). Yes, you read that right, folks. A sinister sanction on free speech that has widely been described as Orwellian will disappear momentarily and come back exactly the same but called something else. Orwell Squared. I have a suggestion: why not call them Less Obvious Oppressive Nonsense (LOONs for short)?

‘I felt nothing but disgust’: Tesla owners vent their anger at Elon Musk

Funny is funny.

The tycoon’s links with Donald Trump and Germany’s far-right AfD have slammed the brakes on sales and put the car’s owners in a spin

When Mike Schwede first sat in a Tesla Roadster 15 years ago, he felt like it was a glimpse into the future. By 2016, he was the proud owner of a Tesla, revelling in the thumbs up he would get from other drivers as he whizzed along Europe’s highways in the electric vehicle.

But of late the sheen of owning a Tesla has begun to wear off. For years the brand has been synonymous with Elon Musk and his stance against the climate crisis. Recently, Schwede watched aghast as the Tesla CEO poured hundreds of millions into backing Donald Trump as he made promises to ramp up domestic oil and gas production.

Woke archaeologists are burying humanity’s past

Earliest Known Liberal

Woke archaeologists want to put invaluable historical discoveries back in the ground. Universities, museums and other archaeological institutions have long struggled to hold on to their collections of Native American remains and artefacts in the face of activist fury. Now, there is a growing faction within archaeology that advocates for a total ban on any and all representations of dead human beings.

Pentagon investigating egg-shaped UFO case

The Pentagon has revealed that it is now investigating claims made by a government contractor that he retrieved a crashed ‘egg-shaped’ UFO.

Jake Barber came out as a whistleblower in January, saying he piloted helicopters during secret missions to collect alien technology.

Speaking to NewsNation, Barber said he flew 150 feet above an ‘egg-shaped’ object with no engine or thermal signatures.

Peter Menzies: The end of the CBC? Not if the Liberals have anything to say about it

It is becoming clear that should the Liberals win the next federal election, not only will the CBC be spared the gallows, but almost the entire media ecosystem will be permanently partnered with politicians.

That conclusion was reached upon reading the latest report from the Public Policy Forum (PPF), “The Lost Estate,” which provides an overview of the news industry’s dilemmas, the number of media that have gone out of business, and the number of new platforms that have launched. It cites 526 failures since 2008, mostly community newspapers (about half of which were in centres of less than 20,000 people) and 402 new launches, 276 of which have succeeded.
