Has Trump killed Davos Man?

The annual World Economic Forum (WEF) arrived in Davos, Switzerland this week with unusually little fanfare. The world’s eyes were instead fixed on Washington, DC and on Donald Trump’s second inauguration as US president. Even those at the WEF were focussed primarily on the United States. As Reuters observed, ‘Davos becomes the world’s most exclusive watch party’.

Air Force Official Held Event Pushing Critical Race Theory, Bemoaning ‘White Middle Class Problem’

A Pentagon official and member of the United States Air Force hosted a panel discussion that pushed Critical Race Theory, with academics and a former member of the military claiming that America’s public school system has a “white middle class problem” and that racism is “part of the fabric” of the United States, a video obtained by The Daily Wire reveals.

The August, 2021 talk, part of a broader series called “Crucial Convos,” was titled “Critical Race Theory. What is it?” and included endorsements of the far-left theory from academics and a former member of the military.

Violent ‘Hammer Girl’ Seeks to Evade Justice, Again

The European Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs will deliberate on Thursday, January 23rd, whether to lift the immunity of left-wing radical MEP Ilaria Salis.

The request to lift the 40-year-old Italian lawmaker’s immunity was handed in by Hungary last year, following the election of Salis to the European Parliament (EP).

Ilaria Salis was arrested and imprisoned in Hungary in 2023 for participating in a series of attacks organised by the Hammerbande (Hammer Gang), a German left-wing militant group linked to Antifa. The members of the group surrounded and bludgeoned nine innocent people—who the attackers decided “looked like” neo-Nazis based on their choice of clothing—with telescopic batons and hammers on the streets of Budapest.

GORDON: Justice Minister Virani… not the man to take lead on antisemitism

It’s uncertain whether the federal government’s National Forum on Combating Antisemitism, occurring next month, is a case of “too little too late,” or “better late than never.”

For the past sixteen months antisemitism in Canada has reached unprecedented levels, rising six-hundred percent. Jews are the target of 70 percent of all religion-motivated hate crimes; particularly alarming given that Jews make up less than 1% of Canada’s population.

‘Canadians have lost trust in our party,’ Liberal leadership hopeful says while taking a swipe at Trudeau

Slimeball

Liberal leadership contender Karina Gould said Thursday the government she was a part of for years mishandled the affordability crisis and did not effectively respond to Canadians who were crying out for relief at a time of high inflation.

While criticizing the government’s approach to the cost of living, Gould also repudiated some of the government’s other major policies, namely the capital gains tax hike and upcoming increases to the carbon tax.

“We have to be honest about the fact that Canadians have lost trust in our party,” Gould told reporters shortly after submitting her final paperwork to run for the leadership at the party office in Ottawa.

Randall Denley: Ontario’s big EV gamble just lost everything to Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump hasn’t imposed any tariffs on Canada yet, but he’s already dealt a potentially devastating blow to Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s signature industrial policy.

Ford has heavily touted his plan to make the province a major player in the electric-vehicle industry, especially in the production of batteries. Ontario has promised billions of dollars in government support to make it happen. With the stroke of a pen this week, Trump undermined that plan, perhaps fatally.

Trump tells World Economic Forum U.S. doesn’t need Canadian oil, gas, autos or lumber

U.S. President Donald Trump says his country does not need to import Canadian oil, gas, autos or lumber.

“We’re going to be demanding respect from other nations … Canada has been very tough to deal with over the years,” he told the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday, appearing via video conference before an audience of the world’s most powerful business and political leaders.

Pro Hamas Left, you can only bow in shame to Elon Musk

Not even 24 hours had passed since the start of Donald Trump’s second term and the reductio ad hitlerum had already begun. This time it is not Trump who is being branded as Hitler 2.0, but Elon Musk.

It was not easy to transform the billionaire aligned with Israel, who wears the pin in support of Jewish hostages taken by Palestinian Arab terrorists, who goes to Auschwitz, who declared himself “Jew by association” and who went to see the kibbutzim devastated by Hamas with the Israeli prime minister, into a Nazi.

What the Left Did to Me and My Family

This is a historic moment. For the past five years, I have been fighting to defeat critical race theory, gender cultism, and DEI. Now, President Trump has taken decisive action and instructed his administration to rip out these malicious ideologies root and branch, not just from the federal government but from all institutions that receive federal funding—universities, schools, corporations. All of it.

Brussels: Is the Capital of Europe Crumbling Before Our Eyes?

When President Donald Trump compared Brussels, Belgium to a “hellhole” in 2016, the statement caused quite a stir, especially in Europe, and was treated with that mixture of contempt, ignorance and denial of reality typical of a certain “elite” in the European Union. Trump had made these remarks in the context of discussions on immigration and security, and suggested that Brussels had changed for the worse over the years, mainly as a result of uncontrolled lawless migratory submersion.

While the facts proved him right at the time, it might be said in 2025 that the Lebanonization of Brussels shows that his judgment was visionary.

Doug Ford planning to call Ontario election next Wednesday: source

Premier Doug Ford is planning to call a provincial election next Wednesday, which would send Ontarians to the polls on Feb. 27, a senior Conservative source has confirmed to CBC News.

The planned election call would follow months of speculation that Ford wanted to face voters before the fixed 2026 date.

The planned call would come just after Ford’s Progressive Conservative candidates meet for a “super caucus” event to discuss strategy for the next provincial election — two government sources have confirmed to CBC News the meeting will be held this weekend.
