Trump takes on the climatecrats

Donald Trump has pulled America out of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement for the second time. The new US president signed an executive order following his inauguration yesterday, reversing the decision of his predecessor, Joe Biden, to drag the US back into the agreement in 2021. Bizarrely, like some dodgy insurance scam, the rules of the climatocracy say it takes a year to withdraw from the deal, so not until next winter will America be free of its obligations to reduce its emissions.

Kamala dumping Doug? Former VP’s marriage turmoil as she blames husband for her political setbacks and focuses on her future without ‘dead weight’

Kamala Harris was all smiles and affection for her ‘beloved’ second gentleman Doug Emhoff in the immediate aftermath of her crushing presidential election defeat.

But now that President Donald Trump has been sworn into office, for sore loser Harris, it is now all about the blame game, and her target has flipped to her ‘dead weight’ husband.

And as she weighs her political future – maybe a 2026 run for Governor of California or another try for the nation’s top job two years later – she has to consider whether Emhoff is an asset or a liability.

Maybe she’ll hook up with Obama and Justin.

Trump moves to expand ‘fast-track’ deportations

The Trump administration has expanded the process to swiftly deport undocumented immigrants who cannot prove they have lived in the US continuously for two years or more.

US border agents have been told to summarily deport migrants without allowing them to request legal protection, according to internal documents obtained by CBS, the BBC’s US partner.

The US has also moved to cancel all refugee travel and processing, leaving thousands stranded as they wait to come to the US.

BARBER: Here’s good advice, don’t go looking for a fight

One of the major differences between growing up as part of the Baby Boomer generation and the generations that followed, is that the Boomers were raised in a time with far less adult protection for children. The equipment in the schoolyard was known to break limbs and knock heads, beginners’ chemistry sets given as gifts contained harmful substances and many children received a Daisy rifle when they turned twelve.

HUNTER: Why was killer who shot U.S. Border Patrol agent so close to Canada?

American law enforcement officials are different from their Canadian counterparts.

Names of accused killers are only rarely withheld, which makes the tragic shooting death on Monday of U.S. Border Patrol agent David “Chris” Maland just 32 km from the Canadian border all the more a mystery.

The feds have yet to release the triggerman’s name.

John Ivison: Empty Liberal fighting words won’t win against Trump

It was Canadian author Ronald Wright who noted that each time history repeats itself, the cost goes up.

In a press conference held at a cabinet retreat in Quebec , Justin Trudeau was asked whether he is frustrated that Donald Trump is once again threatening to impose tariffs on Canada.

“We’ve been here before,” he said. “The first Trump presidency represented moments of uncertainty and threats of instability, and we were able to work through that constructively.”

That’s true. But in his first term, Trump did not threaten to charge an extra 25 per cent on everything crossing the border.

Chrystia Freeland pitches Trump’s animosity for her as her strength. It’s her incorrigible weakness

“I want to let you in on a little secret,” says Chrystia Freeland in her video pitch to become the next leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. “Donald Trump doesn’t like me very much.”

This is, according to the person hoping to steer the country through the next fours years of Mr. Trump’s recalcitrant tumult, to her advantage. “I’m a tough negotiator,” she continues, noting her success in renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement during the first Trump term. “I know what we need to do to win that fight again.”

Gaza’s barbarians enjoy an admiring Western press office

We have gone far beyond the grim comparisons with the 1930s. The reason why the Germans had to hold the conference on the shores of Lake Wannsee in secret (only one copy of that conference survived, miraculously reaching us) at which they decided to exterminate 11 million Jews is because if they had announced it in public, even the typical quiet German might have felt a little uncomfortable.

For all those in the West who have perpetuated the lie of the “Israeli genocide” in Gaza over the past 15 months, have a good look at the videos and photos of the immense well-dressed and well-fed violent Arab crowd surrounding the first three freed Israeli women, the Islamic terrorists with balaclavas emerging from “humanitarian tents” and tunnels, watch them jumping on the Red Cross cars.

New Yorkers Are Right to Demand a Ban on Criminal Masking

A poll published last week highlights the sharp divide between what New Yorkers want and what advocates demand. The survey found that 75 percent of New York voters support banning face-masking as a disguise to terrorize, hurt people, and commit crimes.

Two such bans, one Democratic and one Republican, are making their way through the state legislature—something Governor Kathy Hochul neglected to mention in her recent State of the State address. Nonetheless, opponents of New York’s ban insist that such laws offer no public-safety benefits, and that they will prevent ordinary citizens from masking for health. These arguments are not only wrong; as the recent poll shows, they’re also out of step.

HELL NO. Canadians do not want the USA’s Cross Dressing Weirdos

Canada’s transgender advocates are calling on Ottawa to provide a safe haven to gender-diverse residents of the United States after President Donald Trump signed an executive order saying

Washington now only recognizes two sexes: male and female.

A person’s biological classification is “immutable,” the order says, and gender identity will no longer be acknowledged by the U.S. government.

Amazon Canada says it will close all of its warehouses in Quebec

Amazon Canada says it will close all seven of its Quebec warehouses and lay off staff over the next two months.

The e-commerce giant positioned the move scuttling 1,700 permanent jobs and 250 temporary ones as a way to provide “even more savings to our customers over the long run” and dismissed concerns that it was linked to a recent unionization push in the province.

Doug Ford’s Conservatives would win Ontario election if called today: new poll

If an election were called in Ontario today, a new poll suggests the voters would hand Premier Doug Ford a clear victory.

A new Leger poll, exclusive to the National Post, put Ford’s Progressive Conservatives 24 points ahead of the Liberals. The results indicate 46 per cent of poll respondents expressed support for the reigning Tories versus 22 per cent for Bonnie Crombie’s Liberals, 19 per cent for the NDP, just 7 per cent for the Green Party and 6 per cent other.
