Don Martin: Trudeau goes from standstill to ‘panic mode’ on Chinese interference

Finally and inevitably, he waved the white flag.

An inquiry if necessary, but not necessarily an inquiry, will likely be called to probe allegations of Chinese interference in Canada’s elections.

This after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau surrendered to intense internal and external pressure and reluctantly pledged action after weeks of denying any further action was needed.

Singh should be orchestrating Juniors ouster, this rapporteur farce is a deliberate waste of time.

Are sanctions REALLY wrecking life in Russia? As British supermarkets ration eggs and vegetables shelves in a provincial Russian city are GROANING

These revealing photographs show shop shelves in a provincial Russian city groaning under piles of fresh food.

As British supermarkets ration eggs and an array of fruit and vegetables amid shortages provoked in large part by the Ukraine war, no such hardships afflict Vladimir Putin’s citizens.

The pictures were taken at a food hall, two superstores and a corner shop in Perm, a city with a population the size of Birmingham in the Ural mountains, a 24-hour drive from Moscow. The images suggest the West’s much-vaunted sanctions on Russia, imposed to punish President Putin for his invasion, are not having a deep bite.

Alberta City Councillor Apologizes for Posting Anti-Christian Meme As Citizen Criticizes Event Featuring Drag Artist

An Alberta city councillor who posted a meme with an anti-Christian theme on social media has publicly apologized as a city resident says the meme was a “personal attack” against him for objecting to an upcoming event that advertises a drag artist as the main feature.

As a result of the post and circumstances leading up to it, the resident Leighton Grey says city councillor Chris Vining, who is also a school principal, violated the codes of conduct for city councillors and educators. Vining, for his part, says he has received harassing emails and calls and that he and his family now feel unsafe in their home.

A school principal huh? But they’re not groomers.
