Todays Tip: It pays to hire the Indigenous for your protest movement

Legal Memo Advised Ottawa Police to Be Aware of Indigenous Protesters During Convoy

They warned that the protest “raises issues related to freedom of expression and lawful assembly, and therefore may have Charter implications.”

“In addition,” stated the memo, “there may be demonstrators who are Indigenous, there may be heightened concerns surrounding any active enforcement measures and recognizing the uniqueness of Indigenous occupations.”

Just make sure no one is a Christian.

Canadian Navy to Mandate COVID-19 Boosters for Sailors, Leaked Memo Shows

The Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) has mandated that all sailors stationed at sea must receive up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations, which includes at least one booster shot “within the last six months.”

“My direction remains that only sailors with up to date vaccinations, defined as the primary vaccination series plus either a booster within the last 6 months or a confirmed recovery from a COVID-19 infection within the last 6 months, be employed or undergo training as a member of crew aboard HMC ships and submarines,” wrote RCN Vice-Admiral Angus Topshee in a Nov. 4 unclassified memo obtained by The Epoch Times.

China ‘increasingly disruptive global power’, says Canadian foreign minister … The free world sleeps better knowing Joly stands ready to do violence on their behalf

“China is an increasingly disruptive, global power,” Joly told a Toronto audience. “It seeks to shape the global environment into one that is more permissive for interests and values that increasingly depart from ours.

Actually China’s values are much admired by PM Arsehole and he loves the money they dump in his foundation, not to mention their very “Liberal” campaign donations.

Drowning death of crypto ‘visionary’ Nikolai Mushegian fuels conspiracy theories

Curse of the look alike Randy Quaid’s

A person who knew Mushegian very well for years until they had a falling-out two years ago said that the developer was “very very smart” but also suffered from extreme bouts of paranoia.

“He had mental problems,” said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “He saw a psychiatrist at times. He smoked a lot of pot. A tremendous amount.”

France to require all large car parks to be covered by solar panels

All large car parks in France will be covered by solar panels under new legislation approved as part of president Emmanuel Macron’s renewable energy drive.

Legislation approved by the French Senate this week requires existing and new car parks with space for at least 80 vehicles to be covered by solar panels.

The owners of car parks with between 80 and 400 spaces have five years to comply with the measures, while operators of those with more than 400 will have just three years. At least half of the area of the larger sites must be covered by solar panels.

The Uighur ‘influencers’ working for Beijing’s propaganda machine

If you watched some of the videos on YouTube featuring young Uighur influencers, then you would have no idea that a growing number of human rights organisations and the United Nations have documented China’s severe repression of this Muslim ethnic minority. In a study published mid-October, an Australian research centre has dissected more than 1,700 videos to show how they are in fact part of the complex Chinese propaganda network under President Xi Jinping.

How vaccination is actually driving Covid to be more infectious

THE lockdowns, mask mandates, school closures and care home disasters triggered by Covid are increasingly being acknowledged as ghastly and costly mistakes, but the vaccines we were pressed so hard to take are still being promoted as a ‘safe and effective’ triumph of modern medicine.

As TCW readers were reminded last week, the data do not support that picture. The immune response to the jabs can sometimes enhance risk of illness, and there have been many warnings as to why that should be the case.

The Democrats’ false victory

A progressive bloodbath has merely been delayed

For all their cautious optimism yesterday, a mild Midterms victory may prove the last thing the Democrats need. If they had performed as predicted, the Democrats and their media adjuncts would now be busily dissecting their defeat. But what has to be considered a lost Republican opportunity — gaining little in a country where lifespans are now dropping — also means that the Democrats will be slower to address their weaknesses, and may be forced to accept the unpopular Joe Biden as their leader in 2024.

COVID Amnesty? How About Unconditional Surrender?

Brown University professor Emily Oster has created quite a stir with her recent article asking for a “pandemic amnesty.” In it, she calls for “both sides” in the COVID debate to forgive each other so we can focus on solving current problems. If Oster wanted exposure, she certainly got it, with commentators far and wide responding to her plea. If she wanted to heal wounds and close chasms, however, she failed miserably. Many have told her to go pound sand.

Should ‘radical’ climate activism be penalized?

“Why didn’t your mother abort you?” a passerby shouted angrily at environmental protection activists who were blocking Berlin’s busy Frankfurter Allee during a recent protest.

This exchange illustrates the increasing divisions in Germany when it comes to the ever more conspicuous displays of civil disobedience employed by organizations such as Letzte Generation (“Last Generation”). A gap is growing between those who say they will fight for their future by any means within reason, and those who say that many such attention-grabbing tactics have crossed the line into criminality.

‘Everything is broken in this country’ Pierre Poilievre says, blaming PM Trudeau

Decrying high inflation and the rising cost of food, housing and fuel, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre held a rare media availability on Wednesday to declare: “it feels like everything is broken in this country right now.”

Listing off “40-year high inflation,” “35 year olds living in their parents’ basements” and the “nearly 100 per cent increase in fuel prices,” Poilievre placed the blame on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberals, while pitching a Conservative government as the solution

A tale of two Americas

Red states are growing, while blue states are mired in lawlessness and decline.

Yesterday’s Midterms were not a victory for conservative or progressive ideology, but an assertion of the growing power of geography in American politics. It was less a national election than a clash of civilisations.

Virtually nowhere in blue areas did Republicans make gains. Both the north-east and California – the central players in Democratic Party politics – stayed solidly blue. Even the most well-regarded GOP candidates, such as Lanhee Chen who ran for California state controller, struggled to make inroads in Democratic territory.
