The Elites Have Stopped Hiding Their Hatred of the Working Class

Last week, a shocking moment of truth broke through the huge effort elites normally put into hiding their disdain for the rest of us. At an event sponsored by the libertarian Cato Institute, President of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Adam Posen—a man who appears to be paid $450,000 a year—made clear his absolute contempt for the working class.

“The fetish for manufacturing is part of the general fetish for keeping white males of low education outside the cities in the powerful positions they are in in the U.S.,” Posen said. As proof, Posen argued that no one cared when recessions hurt Black Americans.

Posen’s words revealed more than he probably wanted to, like the elitist sentiment of wanting people with less education to have less power, or the way rich elites pander to Black Americans by mentioning them to shut down conversations about class disparities, or the ignorant and racist view that Black Americans don’t work in manufacturing.

Is the Second Iranian Revolution Here?

The brutal murder of a twenty-two-year-old Iranian woman, Zhina (Mahsa) Amini, at the hands of the Islamic Republic’s “morality police” for wearing her hijab “improperly” has sparked an unforeseen uprising across Iran calling for an end to the theocratic regime. The current demonstrations are the latest chapter in the Iranian people’s courageous movement against the Islamic Republic’s forty-three-year reign of oppression and terror against its citizens—and by extension the region. The brave women and men of Iran have started what could become the second Iranian Revolution.

It’s a lovely thought.

France is haunted by civil war – Jihadis and drug lords rule the banlieues

Ranks of men in uniform are bombarded with Molotov cocktails, makeshift mortars, and small arms fire. Commando units prepare to infiltrate a smoke-covered urban fortress. A city burns under the watchful eye of the press, reporting on “a civil war”.

This isn’t the siege of Aleppo, it’s a scene from Romain Gavras’s Athena, set in one of France’s burning banlieues. Amid the smoke grenades, police and Athenians engage in brutal fighting at close quarters, with metal rods and batons. Later, the police use fire ladders to scale the walls of a tower block. Athenians on wheels circle around a beleaguered police testudo, firing makeshift mortars at point blank range. Men on both sides are visibly shell-shocked.

The US military can’t afford to indulge in trans nonsense

Transwomen are eligible for the draft because they are biologically male.

Thousands of would-be American soldiers were apparently deeply wounded last week – not from enemy fire, but by a tweet issued by the US Selective Service System (SSS), the body that oversees conscription to the US army. The tweet was a reminder to parents that their sons, if aged 18 to 25, are legally required to register with the SSS. While US citizens are not currently being conscripted into the armed forces, the register is as a contingency measure should the draft be reintroduced in the event of a war or a crisis.

Gunman Who Killed 17 in Parkland Is Spared the Death Penalty

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Nikolas Cruz, the profoundly disturbed young man who carried out a massacre in the hallways of his former high school four years ago, igniting an anti-gun-violence movement led by students raised in an era of mass shootings, should not be condemned to death and instead should spend the rest of his life in prison, a state jury said on Thursday.

In a swift decision that stunned many of the victims’ families, the jury of seven men and five women sentenced Mr. Cruz to life in prison without the possibility of parole for all 17 first-degree murder counts, after about seven hours of deliberations in a grueling and often emotional sentencing trial.

Sabrina Maddeaux: Climate hypocrites keep trying to turn farmers, and their cows, into villains

New Zealand only counts around five million people, but the country is home to over 10 million beef and dairy cows. Naturally, the government would like to tax them.

More specifically, they plan to tax cow’s burps and urine. This is the New Zealand government’s latest effort to tackle climate change by reducing the amount of methane and nitrous oxide cattle release into the atmosphere.

HONKOCAUST! Downtown residents still ‘traumatized’ by convoy, lawyer tells commission

People who lived through last winter’s convoy protest and occupation of downtown Ottawa remain “traumatized” by the experience, a lawyer representing residents and business groups told the public commission probing the federal government’s unprecedented use of emergency powers to clear the capital.

Paul Champ made the comment during introductory remarks on the opening day of the Public Order Emergency Commission, kicking off six weeks of highly anticipated hearings into the events of January and February. Ontario Court of Appeal Justice Paul Rouleau is presiding over the commission.

“The people in Ottawa are still traumatized, commissioner. They’re bewildered, they’re upset, and I can say, commissioner, these 30 days that you have, we could have residents line up every day to testify, to tell you their stories.”

Kremlin crack-up: who’s out to get Putin?

The soldier with the Kalashnikov wasn’t happy. Neither were the hundreds of comrades who had chosen him as the spokesman for their angry complaints as they milled about on a train platform somewhere in Russia. ‘There are 500 of us, we are armed, but we haven’t been assigned to any unit,’ the newly mobilised soldier complained on a video that went viral earlier this month. ‘We’ve been living worse than farm animals for a week… Nobody needs us, we’ve had absolutely no training.’ Other soldiers, most of them masked, chipped in with more grievances. ‘The officers treat us like animals,’ shouted one. ‘We’ve spent a fortune on buying food for ourselves.’

Suppression Campaign

The American Medical Association asks the federal government to prosecute critics of radical gender medicine.

Last week, the American Medical Association, the Children’s Hospital Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics sent a letter to U.S. attorney general Merrick Garland requesting that the Department of Justice “take swift action to investigate and prosecute” “high-profile users on social media” who have allegedly created a “campaign of disinformation” against children’s hospitals that offer “gender-affirming health care,” leading to threats and harassment, including a bomb-threat hoax at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Only 4 months before war, Germany claimed Russian gas pipeline posed no risk

BERLIN — The German government on Thursday declassified a top-secret security assessment on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from 2021, only four months before the outbreak of war, which claimed energy supplies “won’t be jeopardized” by increased dependency on Russian gas.

The document, dated October 26, 2021, was adopted in the final days of former Chancellor Angela Merkel’s outgoing government, in which Germany’s current leader Olaf Scholz played a key role as vice chancellor.

Commonwealth Games makes mystery esports U-turn

Competitive gaming will not be a medal event in the 2026 Commonwealth Games, after a surprise U-turn.

Esports was a pilot event at the 2022 Birmingham Games, co-funded by the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) and the Global Esports Federation (GEF).

And the CGF called this a success, with its president saying she expected it to be included “going forward”.

I bet Tranny make-up application is the next demo sport.
