Sweden prosecutes Muslima for recruiting son to fight in Syria as child soldier

A 49-year-old woman from Sweden has been charged with war crimes and breaching international law for allegedly assisting in getting her son to fight in Syria as a child soldier, Swedish public prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The woman, who has been in custody in Sweden since September, is suspected of helping recruit one of her sons – born in 2001 – to fight as a child soldier while they lived between 2013-2016 in Syrian territory once controlled by the Islamic State group.

The Swedish Prosecution Authority said in a statement this is the first time that the country has brought war crimes charges against an individual for abetting in recruiting child soldiers.

Randall Denley: Ford is inflicting pandemic pain, but offering little gain.

It’s too early to say when Doug Ford’s pandemic performance will reach its low point, but Monday’s new school closure and semi-lockdown is a leading contender. One can argue that the Ontario premier’s latest move is too little, too late or that’s a gross over-reaction. The case for timely and appropriate is a lot tougher to make.

BBC: Omicron stats are huge, but look beyond them

Covid infections have risen to unprecedented levels in recent weeks because of the Omicron variant.

But, as early evidence suggested it would, this variant is causing milder illness, for now at least.

A fall in the proportion of detected cases ending in hospital, shows this. It is now five times lower than it was a year ago.

Sean Penn slams actresses who jumped on #MeToo bandwagon

Sean Penn is well known for his left-wing activism, but the Hollywood star thinks that the #MeToo movement has become a tool of destruction, no matter how deserving some of its targets were.

… While Penn described “the core of” the #MeToo movement – the campaign against sexual harassment and abuse that most famously saw movie mogul Harvey Weinstein outed as a predator – as necessary, he slammed actresses for jumping on the bandwagon having never said a word on social or political issues before.

“Most of the famous actresses that jumped onto that … had said s**t all about our tax dollars going to bomb Yemeni children, s**t all, for years. But now there was something to jump on in a pack and destroy people,” he said.

GOLDSTEIN: Former CBC journalist lowers the boom on its ‘radical agenda’

A veteran CBC journalist who worked as a TV and radio producer and occasional on-air commentator said Monday she quit the state-funded broadcaster last month because its “radical political agenda” made it impossible to do good journalism.

Golly, another of those right wing “conspiracy” theories proves true.

The CBC spews Liberal party propaganda. Propaganda is designed to humiliate the target and is all about about coercion and control. If the CBC had it’s way you would be anally raped live on the National by transgender ISIS lesbians.

“Following our approval of Quebec’s request for federal assistance, Canadian Armed Forces personnel will begin their deployment today to provide support to the province’s vaccination campaign,” he wrote. “Our officials continue to assess what other federal resources can be utilized to help the province combat COVID-19.”

They really do think we’re stupid.

The United States In 2040

I do not write this article for the typical American Thinker reader. Like me, the typical reader already recoils in revulsion and fear about the direction this country and world are heading. I write instead for the Leftist sappers and monitors who watch what comes out in American Thinker either to pounce on it in trolling comments or simply report back to their overseers.

I want us all to engage in a New Year’s Day mental exercise and extrapolate where we will be—not as a country but as a culture—in 20 years. In that span, patriot conservatives may win a midterm election or two, and perhaps even a presidential election, but the culture will continue its 70-year trend.

Sunday Shows Were Hyperfocused on Reminding Everyone About January 6

As the anniversary of the Capitol Hill riot from January 6 approaches, the media have ramped up their efforts to remind us about that day. Every Sunday show featured someone involved with the U.S. Capitol. While “Fox News Sunday” spoke with chief of U.S. Capitol Police, Thomas Manger, who took on such a role in July. The other shows featured members from the select committee on January 6, including Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Liz Cheney (R-WY), and Bennie Thompson (D-MS). NBC’s “Meet the Press” had a “special edition” episode on “January 6: One Year Later.”

Is this a global ‘psychic epidemic’?

Since Professor Mattias Desmet’s theory of #MassFormation is trending on Twitter, I’ve decided to share a short extract from A State of Fear: How the UK government weaponised fear during the Covid-19 pandemic. I hope it can assist in contributing to Desmet’s very interesting theory.

The idea that you might be caught up in mass hysteria, mass formation or a psychic epidemic is a threatening one. Bear in mind, it’s just a theory. Read the extract and watch Desmet’s interview with an open mind.

Latest warmist doomsday fantasy: Massive Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica will ‘fall apart overnight’ and raise sea levels by ten feet

Some people love to be scared. Mary Shelley knew that when she wrote Frankenstein, and genres of fiction and film exist mining that desire for innocent fun and profit. ‘Epidemic of madness’: Dr. Mercola scorches ‘relentless fearmongering’

Popular Dr. Joseph Mercola says we’re in the middle of “an epidemic of madness” that occurs when a “large portion of society loses touch with reality and descends into delusions.”

It’s happening he says due to the “relentless fearmongering coupled with data suppression and intimidation tactics of all kind.”

He cited a 20-minute video, “Mass Psychosis – How an Entire Population Becomes Mentally Ill,” created by After Skool and Academy of Ideas, explains the tactics used to seed and nurture mental illness – on a grand scale.
