Fauci And The Inquisition

What is the difference between science and religion?

Religion is based on faith. Its precepts are not negotiable or open for debate. They come from God.

Science is the rational exploration of the natural world. It is based on questioning and experimentation. There is no unquestioned, universal truth. Everything is open to debate.

By this measure, Anthony Fauci is no longer even arguably a scientist. He is now the high priest of some kind of new-age religion that insists that lockdowns and mass vaccination are the only possible responses to the COVID pandemic.

Chinese ambassador to Canada warns there is no room for compromise on Taiwan

In an exclusive interview with the National Post at the country’s embassy Monday, Ambassador Cong Peiwu said his government wants good relations with Canada, but stressed Beijing sees Taiwan as an indivisible part of China.

“People have to understand the real status quo in the Taiwan Strait. The status quo in real terms is that there is one China in the world, of which Taiwan is an inalienable part.”

For many Canadians, interest in remaining a constitutional monarchy will die with Queen Elizabeth

The tiny island nation of Barbados is making a big change by becoming a republic and cutting ties to the British monarchy that has signified – at least in part – colonial rule for nearly 400 years.

With the health of Queen Elizabeth, who turned 95 this year, under increasing scrutiny, questions about the long-term future of Canada’s place as a constitutional monarchy are subject to more discussion.

Now, a new study from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute finds people in this country disinclined to maintain the status quo for generations to come by a margin of two-to-one: just over half (52%) say Canada should not remain a constitutional monarchy indefinitely, while one-quarter (25%) say it should.

Joe Oliver: The Trudeau Liberals learn nothing and forget nothing

Talleyrand, diplomat and schemer extraordinaire, said of the Bourbons who ruled France both before and after the revolution that “They learned nothing and forgot nothing.” The same can be said of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his entitled coterie of acolytes and puppet-masters (yes, both). They have learned nothing from egregious ethical breaches and economic failures and they have forgotten nothing about divisive cultural wokeness and dysfunctional climate obsessions. (One thing that evidently has been forgotten is “deliverology,” which seems to have been a transitory enchantment. Look up deliverology in a thesaurus and you might find the PM’s picture under antonyms.)

Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid

The “experts” skipped the “Xi variant” because they didn’t want to offend the dictator of the country that unleashed a pandemic onto the world, so now we have the Omicron variant of COVID 19. What does it mean? No one knows. The woman who discovered it says its symptoms are significantly more mild than the original or even the Delta variant, but that hasn’t stopped the media and Democrats (sorry to repeat myself) from hyping this newly discovered strain as, perhaps, the bringing of Armageddon. Why? They want, no – need – to keep people afraid. They have too much they want to do that they can’t justify logically, so they need fear to motivate its advancement.

Austria considers €7,200 fine for unvaccinated

The mandatory vaccination will apply to all those who have permanent residency in Austria. According to the draft regulation seen by Austrian newspaper die Presse, only those who can’t be vaccinated due to health reasons are exempt.

Rand Paul: Fauci Wants ‘Submission’ — ‘Most of His Edicts Are Not Based in Science’

“It’s sort of a way of ending all debate because if you attack him or have any debate over any of his edicts or mandate, you’re attacking science. This is a very, very dangerous sort of idea, the idea that a government bureaucrat represents science and that he is now untouchable,” Fauci warned. “It is sort of like you are now contradicting the all high priest of science if you say anything. But there are the real questions, and there’s real areas of science that he’s never really debated because he deflects. One area is over 100 million Americans have had COVID. They have natural immunity. There’s a real question about whether they should be vaccinated once, twice or not at all.”

Leaked papers link Xinjiang crackdown with China leadership

Excerpts from previously unpublished documents directly linking China’s crackdown on Uyghur Muslims and other minorities in Xinjiang province to speeches by the Chinese leadership in 2014 have been put online.

The documents – including three speeches by Chinese president Xi Jinping in April 2014 – cover security, population control and the need to punish the Uyghur population. Some are marked top secret. They were leaked to the Uyghur Tribunal – an independent people’s tribunal based in the UK.

In the documents, the highest levels of the Chinese Communist party (CCP) leadership call for Uyghur re-education and relocation to rectify an imbalance in the Uyghur and Han population in Xinjiang.

How fear fuels the vaccine wars

Covid has been a revelation and an accelerant

Perhaps it’s my age, or perhaps it’s just blind prejudice, but when I wake to the news that the Austrian government has interned an entire third of its national population as a danger to public health, a chill runs down my spine.

I look at the news photos of armed, masked, black-clad police stopping people in the streets to ask for their digital papers, and I read stories of others arrested for leaving their own house more than the permitted once a day, and I hear Austrian politicians intoning that those who refuse to accede to the injection are to be shunned and scapegoated until they acquiesce.

Crumbling decor and ‘refugee zones’: These ‘Syrian style’ cafes are China’s new trend

On Chinese social media, influencers are sharing photos from cafes they are calling “Syrian style”, decorated to look as if they were ravaged by war. You can take a selfie in front of a dilapidated wall and set your bubble tea on a table that looks like an ammunition crate, all while depressing music plays in the background. The design style, accused of being offensive and capitalising on human suffering, has stirred debate on Chinese social networks.

White Coat Sadist at Work – Fauci spends millions on “excruciating” experiments with rhesus monkeys.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci since 1984, conducts “excruciating experiments” on rhesus monkeys at NIH labs in Bethesda, Maryland.

“In many of these experiments, Fauci and staff intentionally withhold pain relief, even though these are some of the most excruciating experiments in the federal government,” John Goodman of the White Coat Waste Project (WCWP)  told the Epoch Times.

According to a federal database, of the $13.5 million HHS spent to breed and maintain the monkeys, NIAID paid $8.9 million. Goodman told the Times it was “very unlikely that Fauci didn’t know about this given the amount of money involved and the fact that these experiments are happening in his own laboratories.”

Canada may need to do ‘more’ to combat Omicron COVID-19 variant, Trudeau says

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says there “may be more” Canada needs to do as it reckons with the newly discovered threat of the Omicron variant.

Five cases of the Omicron COVID-19 variant have been confirmed in Canada to date.

“Obviously, we’re watching very, very closely the situation with Omicron. We know that, even though Canada has very strong border measures now — we need vaccinations to come to Canada, we need pre-departure tests, we do testing on arrival,” Trudeau told reporters as he walked into a Tuesday cabinet meeting.

The Media Stopped Talking About Darrell Brooks Because He’s Black and His Victims Are Mostly White

If Darrell Brooks were a white man who drove a car into a crowd of black people, the media would still be talking about Waukesha.

The name Darrell Brooks hasn’t been uttered a single time on CNN since last Thursday, November 25. Today marked the first time anyone on MSNBC mentioned Brooks by name since last Wednesday, November 24. The scant coverage came in the form of a hasty (34 seconds) news brief that ran once each on the network’s two morning programs, Way Too Early with Jonathan Lemire and Morning Joe.

Antifa Wants Guns After Rittenhouse Verdict. I Say Have at It

Antifa and BLM typically throw their tantrums in liberal hellholes, or where guns aren’t easily allowed, like Portland, Seattle, Chicago, and New York City.

Kenosha, Wisc., was a different story. When Antifa and BLM went to Kenosha to riot against the police shooting of an armed black sexual predator named Jacob Blake, they were probably thinking they could play by their usual rules: burn and loot with near impunity, and attack whomever they want. Kyle Rittenhouse changed those rules.
