Antifa And Its Origins

In this sequel to his 2016 book Fascism: Career of a Concept, Paul Gottfried turns his attention to antifascist critics and movements from the years immediately after the Great War up to the present day. The reader will learn that the contemporary treatment of fascism by self-described antifascists like Antifa is very different from how Marxist and liberal critics responded to the ideology and its adherents in the first half of the 20th century. Today the fear of fascism is used as a political weapon by the post-Marxist left to bully their politically disadvantaged critics. It is a form of indoctrination that serves to reinforce official orthodoxy. “Fascism became,” writes Gottfried, “the favored term of political scolds and those who sought to trample on the historical liberties of those who offended them.”

Pakistan drops chemical castration plans because of Sharia

The planned introduction of chemical castration for serial rapists in Pakistan has been dropped due to objections from experts in Islamic law, who said such punishment would be counter to Sharia.

The controversial clause in a bill amending criminal law in Pakistan was dropped before the National Assembly voted on it on Wednesday, a parliament official said on Friday. If it were passed, it would have been unconstitutional, Parliamentary Secretary for Law and Justice Maleeka Bokhari explained. The basic law of the country requires all its laws to be in line with the Sharia and the Koran.

The Liverpool Bomber and Fake Muslim Conversion to Christianity

The case of Emad Jamil Al Swealmeen, 32, highlights the danger of Muslims fraudulently converting to Christianity.

Swealmeen came to public attention on Nov. 14, when he (probably inadvertently) detonated an improvised explosive device outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital at 10:59a.m. as he rode in a taxi, just seconds before the national two minutes’ silence for Remembrance Sunday at 11a.m., killing himself and wounding the taxi driver. The police believe he was an Islamist and a jihadi.

Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer says he’s received so many death threats he’s no longer using his phone

Mark Richards, Kyle Rittenhouse’s criminal defense attorney, told Insider that he has received so many death threats that he was no longer using his own cellphone.

Richards said that he “can’t count” the number of death threats he’s received recently. “It’s too high,” he added.

The attorney has since taken to using his wife’s cellphone, which he used to speak to Insider, but added that her number has also been targeted by people making death threats.

Joy Reid: Kyle Rittenhouse Plus Two Dead White Guys Equals ‘Slave Catchers’

Not that MSNBC’s resident racist extraordinaire didn’t become a caricature of herself long ago, but Joy Reid somehow manages to outdo herself on a regular basis, these days, bless her bitter little heart. Why it’s almost as if Kyle Rittenhouse has finally sent ol’ Joyless around the loony-toon bend for good.

Former Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull says Huawei 5G would leave Canada’s networks vulnerable to China

Former Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, who banned China’s Huawei Technologies from providing equipment for his country’s 5G wireless networks, says Canadians should ask themselves a question as they ponder whether to do the same: are they comfortable with leaving a vital piece of infrastructure vulnerable to the Chinese government?

decision on whether to formally ban Shenzhen-based Huawei from Canada’s 5G networks – and presumably from successor networks still in development, such as 6G – is expected soon from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government.

David Suzuki leads Victoria marchers carrying “RCMP Pigs” and “All Cops Are Bastards” signs

This is a small anecdote but something that’s always stuck with me. Years ago I was waiting to merge into traffic from a mall in Halifax. Not very memorable you’d think. But by some weird magic I recognized the cyclist whizzing past me. “That looked like David Suzuki!” I said to myself. And, yes, there was a very brief moment when I could have floored it and changed the course of Canadian history. Ah well. What might have been. (I looked it up. He was in town for some stupid conference. ‘Twas him, oh yes.)

My point is that how and why on Earth did I recognize him? He was just some middle-aged guy on a bike and I was barely paying attention. I had a similar experience on a very early morning with Pierre Burton, (don’t bother looking him up), but he always dresses up like Pierre Burton so that’s more understandable. My theory is that certain celebrities and/or narcissists have an ability to project. Even if they aren’t interesting looking or anything. (David Suzuki is not interesting looking.)

Dr Suzuki, I’m sorry you were interned as a child. It wasn’t right and it shouldn’t have happened. I also agree with you about farmed salmon, although not with your unhinged temper tantrums. But dood. Get over it.

Anyway, here’s what Dave’s been up to lately.

Bruce Pardy: COVID has cost Canadians their freedom. It must be restored

Many years ago, as a new law student, I had a moment of disbelief. “Surely it doesn’t really work this way,” I thought to myself as I sat in an early class. The law, I discovered, is not a set of immutable rules, predictable and secure. Instead, it is rife with ambiguity, riddled with uncertainty, and subject to the whims, temperaments and follies of human beings who make and apply it. And yet, as I also came to realize, it has often worked well. The Western legal tradition, upon which the Canadian system is based, has protected individual autonomy better than any other legal system in history. The problem is that for decades that tradition, and the culture from whence it came, have slowly been eroding. And now, during COVID, when the law has let us down, there is a tide in the affairs of Canadians.

Head of NAACP Claims Rittenhouse Verdict Was ‘Worse Than Emmett Till Trial’

The “not guilty” verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial has really brought out the worst in the already unhinged left. We keep saying it, because it keeps on happening. On Friday night, during “The Last World with Lawrence O’Donnell,” fill-in host Zerlina Maxwell discussed the verdict with Derrick Johnson, the president and CEO of the NAACP. During the show, Johnson claimed the verdict was “worse than the Emmett Till trial.”

China’s ‘Morally Bankrupt’ Olympics

The disappearance of tennis star Peng Shuai this month has led many around the world to question the holding of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The Games are scheduled to begin February 4.

Now, only the morally bankrupt could think it is a good idea to allow the hostage-taking, rapist-protecting, genocide-committing Chinese regime to host this competition.

It is now time for the world to face the reality of the Communist Party of China and the horrific system it has constructed.

There is only one correct choice: Move the Games.

Winners and Losers of the Rittenhouse Verdict

Anyone paying attention to the Rittenhouse trial wasn’t surprised by the verdict: not guilty on all charges. He was clearly attacked by the three communists he shot. The only thing shocking to us was that the verdict took almost four days of deliberation. I thought they’d be back in an hour.
