Ten Years of Muslim Persecution of Christians

July 2021 was the tenth anniversary of my monthly series, “Muslim Persecution of Christians” (published by the Gatestone Institute). Back in July 2011, I began to collate and summarize the accounts of persecution that surfaced every month in one report — so that there is a record, so that when the time comes, the usual excuse, “we never knew,” won’t stand.

Something very peculiar is happening with the Strategic Petroleum Reserve

It’s no secret that Americans are paying record prices at the gas pumps. Rapidly ascending prices also affect the cost of all the goods and services that are an integral part of the American economy. Farmers, manufacturers, delivery companies, repair people…you name it: they’re paying more to do their jobs, and they’re passing those costs to consumers. So why now, of all times, is the Biden administration selling off America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to Asia?

The selfish and cynical ‘resistance’

Woke America is obsessed with symbolism, which only turns everything into a grift

It’s bad enough when someone actually thinks reposting an “I Stand With…” meme is an act of woke resistance. But when the problem is enlarged to a societal scale, it hurts us all. Nothing actually broken ever gets fixed, and a deep sense of cynicism is injected into once-believers when they realize they’ve been conned. We live inside a con job where the appearance of action is mistaken for action.

The biggest spy scandal of the year has been all but ignored in conservative media. Apart from a freelance story in the Washington Examiner, a conservative reader will be entirely in the dark about the scandal embroiling Israeli cybersecurity firm NSO Group.

Jordan Peterson says what’s wrong with Western climate campaign

Controversial psychologist and author Jordan Peterson claimed Western countries had no “moral right” to force developing nations to reduce pollution output, noting instead that improving their economies was key.

During an appearance on the BBC’s ‘Question Time’ show on Thursday, the Canadian professor noted that the focus of climate change policies should be on incentivizing the development of cheap energy in poorer polluter countries.

Joy Reid and White Male Tears

MSNBC host Joy Reid is the only minority host on her network from noon to midnight, so it’s only natural she would be most expected to lecture on the evils of whiteness, especially white male-ness. It can even happen on her social media accounts.

On November 16, Reid took to TikTok to compare the Kyle Rittenhouse trial to the confirmation hearings of Brett Kavanaugh three years ago.

Students suing Yale Law show America’s elites have a low opinion of minorities

Yale Law School is failing.

For reasons that appear to be associated with her support for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, the school seems to have a vendetta against Professor Amy Chua. Chua was banned from teaching Yale Law’s important “small group” classes after being accused of, well, something. A deep-dive investigative report by The New York Times found no evidence that Chua had actually done anything wrong.

Trudeau claims moral victory despite Biden’s refusal to budge on $12,500 EV tax incentive

Trudeau left behind an American administration determined to focus its efforts on selling American-made cars and trucks built with U.S. union labour

WASHINGTON — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tried to claim a moral victory Thursday after his day at the White House did little to defuse an escalating continental dispute over President Joe Biden’s plans to encourage Americans to buy more electric vehicles.

Hamas to be declared a terrorist group by UK

Home Secretary Priti Patel has announced she is seeking to declare the whole of Palestinian militant group Hamas a terrorist organisation.

The military wing of the group which controls Gaza is already proscribed a terrorist organisation by the UK.

However, the change will also cover the Islamist movement’s political wing.

It is a criminal offence to belong to or invite support for a proscribed organisation or wear clothing which could be seen to support the group.

‘Boycott Chapman’s’: Why anti-vaccine groups are taking aim at ice cream

Self-described anti-vaccine groups are calling for a boycott of a family-run Canadian ice cream company after it offered a pay rise to staff vaccinated against COVID-19.

Management at Chapman’s, Canada’s largest independent ice-cream manufacturer, say they’re trying to reward staff who have “done the right thing” by getting vaccinated with a $1 per hour pay rise, rather than enforcing a hardline vaccine policy.

California Community College Promises To Pre-Screen Job Applicants To Ensure They Are ‘Anti-Racist’

Palomar Community College in California adopted a new policy that will “require all interviews for admin and staff to require an antiracist question pre-interview to assess new applicants’ dedication to antiracism,” the Young America’s Foundation (YAF) reported. The policy is part of the community college’s commitment to building an “antiracist culture” on campus.
