Communist China Continues Illegal Actions in the South China Sea

It has been five years since the Permanent Court of Arbitration, in a legally binding decision known as the South China Sea Arbitration Case, ruled against Communist China’s claims to sovereignty over most of the South China Sea.

The Philippine government filed the case against China in 2013 after China seized a reef over which both countries claim sovereignty. In addition to ruling against China’s claim of historic rights to the South China Sea, the court found that China had violated the Philippines’ sovereign rights in its exclusive economic zone by interfering with its fishing and petroleum exploration, as well as by constructing artificial islands in the Spratly Islands archipelago, which had caused “severe harm to the coral reef environment”.

Fired bureaucrat was ‘ringleader’ of group that took millions in government money, court hears

The Ontario bureaucrat fired after the alleged theft of $11 million in pandemic aid was a “ringleader,” whose “co-conspirators” are now being investigated for a wider fraud, court has heard.

Crown lawyer Christopher Wayland said Thursday that further allegations against Sanjay Madan are being pursued and predicted others would soon be hauled into court.

In documents filed with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the province alleges “some or all of” Madan, his spouse Shalini, their adult sons Chinmaya and Ujjawal, and associate Vidhan Singh perpetrated “a massive fraud” to divert COVID-19 funds to numerous bank accounts at branches of TD, Bank of Montreal, Royal Bank of Canada, Tangerine, and India’s ICICI Bank.

It really pays to be a white collar criminal in Canada.

Afghanistan: How the Taliban gained ground so quickly … Corruption

… The Afghan army and police has a troubled history of high casualties, desertions and corruption – with some unscrupulous commanders claiming the salaries of troops who simply didn’t exist – so called “ghost soldiers”.

In its latest report to the US Congress, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan (SIGAR) expressed “serious concerns about the corrosive effects of corruption… and the questionable accuracy of data on the actual strength of the force”.

Jack Watling, of the Royal United Services Institute, says even the Afghan army has never been sure of how many troops it actually has.

Cuomo impeachment probe suspended after governor resigns despite ‘credible’ evidence of wrongdoing

Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie will “suspend” the impeachment investigation into Gov. Andrew Cuomo, saying that the probe was unneeded after the scandal-scarred executive announced his intention to resign, even though it had found evidence of misconduct.

“[T]he Assembly will suspend its impeachment investigation upon the governor’s resignation taking effect on August 25,” Heastie said in a statement released by his office Friday, in a decision that he said was backed by his fellow Democrats, who control the chamber.

That sure smells like a fix.

Canada to make COVID vaccines mandatory for all federal employees, airline, rail and cruise ship passengers

Vaccinations will now be mandatory for all federal public service workers and the government expects to see this extend to employees of other crown corporations as well, Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc announced at a press conference Friday afternoon.

Passengers wishing to travel on commercial planes, interprovincial trains and cruise ships will also be required to vaccinate in order to board, Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra said. The announcements come amid rising cases of COVID-19 across Canada, fuelled by the virus’s highly transmissible Delta variant.

US border guards catch record number of illegal migrants attempting to cross Mexico border

The US Department of Homeland Security announced on Thursday that border guards have caught a record number of migrants attempting to illegally cross the Mexico border in July, with more than 200,000 individuals stopped.

Speaking at a press conference in Texas, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned that the United States has faced “an unprecedented number of migrants” seeking to illegally enter the country through its southern border.

US Customs and Border Protection data showed that officials caught more than 200,000 illegal migrants during July, continuing the surge in individuals seeking refuge in America that began in 2020 and has grown since President Joe Biden took office.

‘Utter woke insanity’: Social media users blast ‘sick’ new Scottish rules that allow FOUR-YEAR OLDS to declare ‘gender identity’

The Scottish government has kicked off a storm on social media after issuing “deeply disturbing” LGBT inclusivity guidelines that allow children as young as four to change their gender and name at school without parental consent.

In the 70-page document, issued to schools across the country on Thursday, teachers are instructed not to question students who declare that they are transgender or tell them “it’s just a phase”. Instead, they are urged to “be affirming” of the students’ feelings.

Report: 99.99% DNA match from cigarette butt proof that Ilhan Omar Married her own brother

Is this the proof that Ilhan Omar married her own brother to bypass US immigration rules? DNA test from congresswoman’s cigarette butt purports to show 99.99% match to her second husband Ahmed Elmi

Persistent claims that leftist congresswoman Ilhan Omar married her own brother to get around US immigration laws may be legitimized by what appears to be a conclusive DNA test.

The results of the test assert that there is a 99.999998% chance that Omar and her second husband Ahmed Elmi are siblings.

The report, drawn up by Endeavor DNA Laboratories does not name either Omar or Elmi, instead referring to them as ‘Sibling 1’ and ‘Sibling 2.’ DailyMail.com understands that Omar is Sibling 1.

It says that Sibling 1’s sample was garnered from a cigarette butt and Sibling 2’s from a drinking straw.

An untidy end in Afghanistan – or ominous beginning?

If you like neat lines, tidiness and admire symmetry, what’s not to like about the decision of Joe Biden to pull American combat troops out of Afghanistan by 11 September 2021 – exactly 20 years on from 9/11?

In modern day America it often feels that all roads lead back to 9/11; the single most defining – and scarring – event since Pearl Harbor: the surprise attack by the Japanese on America’s Pacific fleet, which would ultimately bring America into World War Two.

Little to nothing was accomplished after 20 years and the cost was just too high. Too many lives lost.

It’s ugly but getting out is the right thing to do.

If another attack originates from there or elsewhere bomb them into the stone age, forget about nation building.

UK mass shooter was a virgin ‘incel’ who warned he was ‘a Terminator’

The crazed killer who gunned down five people, including a young girl, in the UK’s deadliest mass shooting in more than a decade said he was an American-born, virgin “incel” — and compared himself to “The Terminator,” according to reports.

Jake Davison, a 22-year-old apparent fan of the New York Giants football team, was identified Friday as the gun-obsessed man behind Thursday’s bloodbath in Plymouth that a local MP decried as “unspeakably awful.”

Avi Benlolo: When it comes to hatred against Jews, Canadians’ silence is anything but golden

Al Quds Day – Queen’s Park Toronto. How’s that diversity workin for ya? Ain’t our immigration policy swell?

Enough is enough. The Jewish community is tired of the silence by Canadians over calls of genocide from pro-Palestinian groups. Quite frankly, as a peace activist, this sickens me more today than in the past two decades when these calls were confined to university campuses.

The silence of Canadians?

Silent because they have voluntarily or otherwise left the social media swamp of dictated correct opinion?

Could it be that these “silent Canadians” have elected to “self-censor” due to the Liberal Party’s impending internet cleansing?

Silent because the “news” is bought and paid for government propaganda?

And what of it? It’s likely they’re all Islamophobes anyway, just as our PM says.

Who needs to hear from transphobic cis-gendered white supremacists who stand against all that is holy in our progressive multicultural rainbow of diversity!

You know the type. So really what loss is their silence?

The voice of the progressive liberal-left is the only voice we need!

“You’re all racist, you’re nazis, you’re zionists, you’re KKK”

Erin O’Toole seeks intervenor status in Winnipeg virus lab case

Opposition Leader Erin O’Toole is seeking intervenor status in a court battle over unfettered access to government documents that, if they were released unredacted, would offer insight into the firing of two scientists from Canada’s top infectious-disease laboratory.

A lawyer for the Conservative Party Leader wrote Federal Court of Canada Justice Catherine Kane on Thursday, seeking leave to intervene and asking to discuss the request. Intervenor status would give Mr. O’Toole the ability to make arguments in the case.

I bet Justin invited the commies.

Taliban sweep across Afghanistan’s south; take 4 more cities

The Taliban completed their sweep of Afghanistan’s south on Friday as they took four more provincial capitals in a lightning offensive that is gradually encircling Kabul, just weeks before the U.S. is set to officially end its two-decade war.

The latest significant blow was the loss of Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province, where American, British and allied NATO forces fought some of the bloodiest battles in the past 20 years. Hundreds of foreign troops were killed in the province, which is also a major opium hub.
