Russia and China’s conquest of the United Nations

After the 20th century’s first great war, France, Britain, Italy, Japan, and other major powers founded the League of Nations. Its primary mission: To keep the peace. It failed, of course, and the result was World War II. After the Second World War, the major powers created a new and, what they hoped, was an improved model: the United Nations.

Keeping the peace was, again, the principal mission, but the U.N.’s contribution to preventing the Cold War from heating up was marginal at best. And wars between lesser powers continued.

What’s happening in San Francisco goes far beyond ‘shoplifting’

We’re hearing a lot about the overwhelming number of murders and attempted murders in Chicago and New York.  San Francisco has gone in a different direction.  It seems to have become the “shoplifting” capital of America.  This honor goes along with its long having been the capital of America for car break-ins.  It’s so bad that I know suburbanites who refuse to drive in the city.

New Anti-Terrorism Strategy ‘Narrowly Tailored’ to Target the Right

The NSC ignores Islamic terrorism and joins the Obama-Biden jihad against ordinary Americans.

“This National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism lays out a comprehensive approach to addressing the threat while safeguarding bedrock American civil rights and civil liberties – values that make us who we are as a nation,” explains an introduction attributed to Joe Biden in the document, released last month by the National Security Council. This strategy, readers learn “is narrowly tailored to focus specifically on addressing violence and the factors that lead to violence.” As it happens, this “narrowly tailored” approach is nothing new.

April Powers Condemned Jew-Hate. Then She Lost Her Job.

The inclusion officer’s identity as a black Jew should have made her unassailable. Instead, it was used to discredit her.

On first viewing, it looked like a Tik-Tok riff on The Purge: a caravan of cars rolls down La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles. The passengers — young men in keffiyehs, some draped to mask their faces — stand and shout through sunroofs and windows. The cars honk incessantly. In the back of a slow-moving Jeep, one man waves a billboard-sized Palestinian flag while another shouts through a megaphone: “Israel kills women and children every day!” His companions jeer: “Yeah! Fuck you!”

Why won’t The Lancet admit it was wrong?

The journal is doubling down on its rejection of the lab leak hypothesis

Someone needs to tell The Lancet the most basic tenet of crisis management: when in a hole, stop digging. Instead, this world-renowned medical journal seems determined to keep shredding its reputation, in tandem with a group of experts ignorant to the damage they have caused the scientific community as they have stifled debate regarding the pandemic’s origins.

Majority believes Biden officials, not the president, are secretly running the country: Poll

Nap time.

Most people in the United States believe that Biden administration officials, and not President Joe Biden, are directing the country’s agenda and policy, according to a national poll.

Fifty-seven percent of respondents to a Convention of States Action and Trafalgar Group poll said the president is not fully executing the duties of his office. Thirty-six percent said they were confident that he was directing all policy and agenda matters.

“I Have A Message For You”: NSA Leaks Tucker Carlson Emails To Journalists, Fox Host Claims In Update

Last week, Fox News host Tucker Carlson said in a bombshell broadcast that an NSA whistleblower had approached him with evidence that the National Security Agency has been spying on his communications, with the intent to leak his emails to the press and ‘take this show off the air.’

Today, Carlson told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo that the emails have in fact been leaked to journalists – at least one of whom has contacted him for what we presume is an upcoming article on their contents.

Wendy Mesley sounds like a gulag prisoner convinced Stalin will come to her rescue

“… The CBC did not offer me any public support. And I did not defend myself because I just wanted to return to work. In the midst of last year’s racial reckoning, I also felt it would have been wrong for me to play the victim card.

But my silence backfired as players on all sides used me as a cudgel to advance political interests. While some journalists offered public support, my most vocal defenders were free-speech warriors who wanted to make me a cautionary tale about the dangers of cancel culture. That distinction horrified me, because I’ve fought to cancel injustice my whole life. I resented being made a poster child of a movement I wasn’t part of.”

Just say no to the Kool-Aid kids – Go incognito

More here – Wendy Mesley writes her CBC departure won’t solve corporation’s “problem with racism”

The Glorious Death of American Legacy Media, and What Comes Next

The Glorious Death of American Legacy Media, and What Comes Next

The public doesn’t trust our corporate media talking heads, and almost nobody is paying attention to them anymore.

There was, over the weekend amid a cacophony of media resistance to the formerly unifying celebration of America’s Independence Day, one of the most amateurish and ridiculous cartoons ever produced.

It came courtesy of Communist China’s Xinhua News Agency, a propaganda shop with its rhetorical guns aimed at the American people and the ideas of our founding. The cartoon depicted a pair of white guys in suits clinking glasses together with “TO FREEDOM” in a quote bubble above their heads, and just to their right a crazed lunatic in a ski hat held a pistol in one hand and an AR-15 style rifle in the other with “OF SHOOTING” in a quote bubble above his. The mass shooter, as he’s clearly supposed to be, is standing over a gravestone upon which is written “DEATH FROM FIREARM.”

The Olympics are canceled: Like everything else, the games are becoming a woke circus

The Olympic Games in Tokyo are doomed. Before the opening ceremony, before even the torch is lit, it’s not going to be OK. The games, I’m afraid, just aren’t woke enough. Apologies to Tokyo and Japan — and #StopAsianHate and so on. But for the international left, sport no longer matters unless it can be used to win on Twitter and advance the War for Progress.
