Peter Thiel Blasts Silicon Valley’s ‘Useful Idiots’ for Selling Out to China

Billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel slammed Silicon Valley leaders for outsourcing vital technologies to the Chinese Communist Party.

Joined by former secretary of state Mike Pompeo and former national security adviser Robert O’Brien at a Tuesday Seminar On China, Thiel said his peers in the tech industry act as “useful idiots” for the interests of Beijing by transferring innovative American technology to the oppressive regime. The entrepreneur and founder of PayPal pointed to companies such as Google that export artificial intelligence and facial recognition technology to China, tools used to oversee the genocide of Uyghur Muslims in Western China.

Even kids aren’t safe from the thoughtpolice

Police have recorded over 2,000 ‘non-crime hate incidents’ by under-17s since 2014.

Police are recording ‘non-crime hate incidents’ (NCHIs) committed by children.

NCHIs can be recorded when someone is accused of showing ‘hostility towards religion, race or transgender identity’, but no crime has been committed. There does not need to be any evidence of hate – just as with hate crimes more broadly, the only requirement is that the victim or anyone else perceives the motive of the non-crime incident to have been hateful.

Permanent Racism – What the Left wants on race.

Given the Left’s monomaniacal obsession with fighting the evils of racism, you could be forgiven for thinking they have no greater commitment than its ultimate eradication. Heck, they even occasionally say so—when they’re not demonizing white people and demanding color-conscious policies in perpetuity, that is.

In truth, the Left will never voluntarily let go of the claim that systemic racism pervades America, that it is “part of our DNA that’s passed on,” as Barack Obama says. The widespread belief that America is racist greatly empowers the Left.

Virginia lieutenant governor sees backlash for comparing calls to resign over sexual assault scandal to ‘being treated like Floyd’

Virginia’s black lieutenant governor, Justin Fairfax, ignited criticism after appearing to equate calls for him to step down amid accusations of sexual assault to the death of George Floyd in police custody.

Fairfax left many of those following the Virginia Democratic primary debate on Tuesday night scratching their heads after he portrayed himself as the victim of racial discrimination, and compared his situation to those of Floyd and Emmett Till, a teen who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955 after he was accused of offending a white woman.

Sweden’s migrant rape crisis

European liberals never ask uncomfortable questions about immigration

Was the 2015 European migration crisis followed by a surge in sex crime and sexual harassment? It’s a delicate question; one that many people would prefer not to be asked, much less answered.

But as a result of this collective reticence, discussion surrounding this issue has often been isolated to two extremes. On the one hand, it has been dominated by the populist Right. In response to the Cologne sexual assaults of New Year’s Eve 2015-16, for example, German supporters of Alternative für Deutschland rioted and called for mass deportations. Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, the response of many European liberals and progressives has been that of the three wise monkeys: “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.”

Government Teachers’ Union Boss Attacks Jewish ‘Ownership Class’ For Criticizing School Closures

The president of the American Federation of Teachers, Randi Weingarten, attacked Jews who criticized her union’s efforts to keep schools closed for in-class instruction as members of the “ownership class.”

“American Jews are now part of the ownership class,” Weingarten said in an interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency a month ago reported by the Jerusalem Post. The 63-year-old union president who represents 1.7 million members was responding to those who criticize efforts to keep schools closed while they exploit the coronavirus crisis for billions in stimulus money that won’t be spent for years.

She’s Jewish but obviously her religion is Leftism.

Archbishop of Sweden Takes a Break From Twitter Over ‘Hatred and Threats’

Archbishop of Sweden Antje Jackelén has announced she will take a break from Twitter after what she describes as “lies, threats and hatred” directed at both her personally and the Church of Sweden as an organisation.

According to Jackelén, her tweets are also misused to fuel “pure conspiracy theories”.

“I am described as ‘scum’ and a ‘crazy b***h’, and it feels extra hard to handle this now amid a pandemic when you are often alone. It’s like poison arrows being fired at you, but you don’t really know when they will come,” Antje Jackelén told the newspaper Dagens Nyheter.

Group Trying To Convince Asians That America Is Oppressive Has Ties To Chinese State Media

At least two journalists who worked for Chinese state-controlled media came to the United States as visiting students and became organizers for a progressive activist group behind the “Stop AAPI Hate” movement, running outreach efforts to shape the political opinions of first-generation Chinese-American immigrants in California.

BONOKOSKI: Justin Trudeau’s guinea pigs respond not so kindly

The guinea pigs have weighed in and none is too happy that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is using them as a “human experiment” in order to save political face on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

My Sunday column on the Trudeau Liberals’ skipping the manufacturers’ recommendation to give second dose after 21 days, not Trudeau’s four months, certainly rattled the hornet’s nest.

Our preventable third wave: The state of Canadian vaccines as COVID cases rise

Our preventable third wave: The state of Canadian vaccines as COVID cases rise

It was always known that Canada’s failure to procure timely vaccines would yield otherwise preventable waves of disease, but only now is the rubber starting to meet the road.

Ontario is fast approaching more active cases than at any time since the start of the pandemic, with the province now racking up a new COVID-19 diagnosis every 15 seconds, the majority of them the highly infectious and more deadly variants. Upticks are also rearing their head in Quebec and Western Canada. In British Columbia right now, nearly 10 per cent of the 100,000 COVID-19 cases logged since March, 2020 have occurred within the last two weeks.

Major League Baseball’s Foul Ball

Another organization blinded by the Kultursmog.

Major League Baseball (MLB) is following Black Lives Matter (BLM) and taking a stand on the state of Georgia’s recent election legislation. MLB, under the direction of someone by the name of Rob Manfred, is pulling the 2021 All-Star Game out of suburban Atlanta along with the MLB draft. The New York Times in a front-page editorial (camouflaged as news) said the move by MLB was a “rebuke of a new Georgia voting law that critics have predicted would disenfranchise Black voters.”

Solar Industry’s Reliance on Chinese Forced Labor Threatens Biden’s Green Economy

Solar material production skyrocketed in Xinjiang after Communist nation opened labor camps

An unlikely coalition of Republicans, Democrats, and labor leaders are concerned by the solar industry’s dependence on goods linked to Chinese forced labor camps, a development that threatens President Joe Biden’s push for a green energy economy.

Western China’s Xinjiang region—where China is forcing more than a million Uyghurs into brutal forced labor regimes—dominates the solar sector’s supply chain. Nearly half of the world’s polysilicon, a raw material crucial to producing solar cells, comes from Xinjiang. That economic dependency is attracting the attention of a bipartisan group of lawmakers and union heads, who cite credible reports linking the solar industry to the modern-day slavery regime.

China’s Exploitation of Western Academia

China’s Exploitation of Western Academia

Almost 200 British academics from 20 unnamed UK universities are being investigated for possibly sharing British technology with China that could be used in the Chinese government’s repression of minorities and dissidents, according to a recent news report by The Times. The revelation came shortly after the University of Manchester cancelled a research partnership with China Electronics Technology Group (CETC).

The cancellation came after the university was warned that CETC is, “one of the main architects of the Chinese government’s surveillance state in Xinjiang, China, providing both technology and infrastructure that is being used for the identity-based persecution of more than one million people, predominantly Uyghur Muslims”. The university said their research collaboration with CETC aimed to “significantly advance the field of radio astronomy” and that it had been unaware of CETC’s alleged role in the persecution of Uyghurs.
