On Tuesday, 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long killed eight people and injured multiple others in a shooting rampage at three massage parlors in the Atlanta metro region. The police stopped and arrested Long on Interstate 75 on Tuesday night as he was on his way to Florida, possibly to continue his massacre, according to the Washington Post. Long is currently charged with eight counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault.
The most dramatic change in American capitalism over the last half century has been the emergence of corporate behemoths like Amazon and the simultaneous shrinkage of organized labor. Throughout the Trump years and in particular during the 2020 COVID pandemic crisis, the nation was lectured by the Left “to follow the data,” as the Democrats proclaimed themselves the “party of science.” As sober and judicious children of the enlightenment, they alone offered the necessary disinterested correctives to Trump’s supposed bluster and exaggeration—and to his anti-scientific deplorable following often dismissed by Biden as dregs, chumps, and Neanderthals.
The latest version of the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) will be gender-neutral in how performance is measured but will establish separate ranked tier systems for men and women, military officials said Monday as they rolled out the latest tweak to the Army‘s physical performance standards.
Army leaders said that both male and female soldiers will be measured on the same numerical scale of 360 to 600, with a 360 score being the minimum threshold. In other words, a man and woman who run a mile in the same amount of time will have their performance measured equally on that point scale, and they will receive the same score.
At least 10 people are dead — including one police officer — after a gunman opened fire at a Boulder, Colorado supermarket Monday, according to local reports.
Law enforcement sources told local ABC affiliate Denver7 that at least six people were killed in the shooting at a Kings Soopers store — and that the gunman opened fire on officers when they arrived.
Boulder Police would not say exactly how many people died during a press conference, but at least one of those killed was an officer, Commander Kerry Yamaguchi said.

Canada joined the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union today in placing sanctions on Chinese officials suspected of involvement in a years-long campaign of persecution against Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities in China’s western Xinjiang province.
In a statement announcing the sanctions, Global Affairs Canada accused the four high-ranking officials of participating in “gross and systematic human rights violations” in Xinjiang.
