Arizona Legislature Calls for Immediate ‘Forensic Audit’ of Dominion Voting Machines

The Arizona House and Senate have called for an audit of the Maricopa County election software and equipment following allegations of fraud and other irregularities presented by President Donald Trump’s team earlier this week.

In a news release Friday, GOP leaders of the Republican-controlled legislature sought an independent audit of Dominion Voting Systems software—used in Maricopa County—called for the audit.

We’re all alone: Oxford study says chance of intelligent life elsewhere very low

In the paper, scientists from Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute, theorize that as life evolved on earth, in many cases it depended on a series of unlikely “revolutionary transitions.” Given how late intelligent life evolved on this planet, the chances of similar developments happening on other planets, before they are no longer able to sustain life, were highly unlikely, they said.

Gordon Chang: China Engaged in ‘an Act of War’ by Enflaming Antifa Riots in the U.S.

Gordon Chang, an American of Chinese ancestry who spent decades in China and has extensively written about the threat of China, warned that China meddled in the 2020 presidential election and engaged in “an act of war” against the United States by enflaming the antifa/Black Lives Matter riots in American cities over the summer.

Adamson Barbecue’s flouting of COVID-19 rules is opposed by 76 per cent of Ontarians, Toronto Star commissioned poll says

Adamson Barbecue’s flouting of COVID-19 rules is opposed by 76 per cent of Ontarians, Toronto Star commissioned poll says

Ontarians are skewering a rebel barbecue restaurateur who has defied COVID-19 restrictions, a new poll suggests.

The Campaign Research survey for the Toronto Star found three-quarters of respondents — 76 per cent — oppose Adam Skelly’s highly publicized flouting of pandemic health orders.

Only 19 per cent supported Skelly, whose refusal to close Adamson Barbecue in Etobicoke to in-person dining during a mandatory lockdown, has generated headlines and led to charges.

Hmmm. I like Nick Kouvalis but he could be wrong.

David Petraeus: Perfect Avatar for America’s Corrupt Ruling Class

His assertion that “right-wing” terrorists pose the greatest terrorist threat to our country is a sop to his new paymasters and a selling out of the people who made his career.

General David Petraeus, for many years (decades?) lauded as the greatest and most successful soldier of his generation, just insulted, in terms paradoxically both implicit and vicious, the men who made both his military renown and his post-military success and wealth possible.

“The most significant terrorist threat in the United States is not actually from Islamist extremists, it’s from right-wing terrorists in our own country,” he recently said to a gathering of elites.

The Road to Hell … is paved with government intervention.

The Road to Hell … is paved with government intervention.

The current crisis did not begin with Trump, contrary to the vain repetitions of the Never Trump crowd. The Left’s woes didn’t begin with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The political turmoil on both the left and right started a couple election cycles back with Bill Clinton and Chuck Schumer. What began with government good intentions and notions of correcting injustice caused one short-term fiscal calamity and continues as a rolling cultural catastrophe.

A 1991 study may have found the root cause of transgenderism

If you’re on the left, you believe that the traditional idea that humans come in two sexes (male and female) is not only outdated, but evil. Instead, leftism insists that human sex identification is an infinitely malleable matter of personal choice, untethered to genetics. Conservatives respond that it’s not a matter of choice. Instead, people who claim to be transgendered almost invariably have complex mental issues, often stemming from their upbringing. A recently recovered 1991 study supports conservatives.

No legal grounds for employers to force employees to get vaccinated, say experts

No legal grounds for employers to force employees to get vaccinated, say experts

TORONTO — As a potential COVID-19 vaccine gets closer to reality in Canada, so does the reality that as employees who have been working remotely return to their workplaces, there are uncharted legal and ethical waters ahead.

Among the issues to be navigated: Could employers force staff to get vaccinated?

There is no legal precedent for that, say employment lawyers.

Belgium says Brussels mosque infiltrated by Moroccan spies

The Belgian government has refused permission for the Grand Mosque in the EU quarter of Brussels to be recognised as a local faith community, claiming that the place of worship has been infiltrated by Moroccan spies.

The decision to deny the application was made by the justice minister, Vincent Van Quickenborne, following advice from the security services, according to media reports. Recognition as a faith community secures financial support and assistance from the government.
