On Sunday afternoon, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) shared an unsettling analysis of the 2020 election results that raises serious questions about statistical anomalies and four particularly suspicious “data dumps” in the key swing states of Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Cancel Mob Attacks U Chicago Geophysicist Dorian Abbot For Questioning Diversity Hiring Dogma
“Cancel culture” is a plague that has infected academia and campuses for a long time, and has moved from campus to the general culture. But it has been particularly prominent in the news in 2020 over issues of racial politics, particularly the Black Lives Matter Movement and Critical Race Theory (sometimes called “antiracist”) indoctrination.
Social Distancing
The wealthy have pulled out of the orbit of the rest of the country. Can they be leashed back?
By late October, the best grasp of America’s perilous economic situation was coming from GoFundMe, the internet’s largest donation platform. The website had already become a de facto large insurance company, as hundreds of thousands of patients struggling with exorbitant medical bills started fundraising campaigns every year. By 2019, one-third of all donations on GoFundMe went toward health care costs, according to former CEO Rob Solomon.
But the pandemic created a new kind of precarity in America. From March 1 to August 31, just 3.2 percent of all donation campaigns went toward medical bills. Demand grew so much for other needs that GoFundMe announced a new fundraising category: Rent, Food, and Monthly Bills.
Made-in Canada antibody not good enough for Canada
A made-in-Canada antibody for the coronavirus is good enough for COVID-19-ravaged Italy but not good enough for … Canada.
“I regret to inform you …”
So says the letter from the federal government received Nov. 9 by Dr. Sachdev Sidhu, the esteemed University of Toronto biomedical engineer who insists that his lab has invented a synthetic antibody to mitigate — possibly eliminate entirely for the aged and particularly vulnerable — symptoms of a relentless virus that has brought the world to its knees.

Plunge in city parking revenue due to pandemic is ‘staggering,’ Toronto councillor says
As the city struggles to balance the 2021 budget in the face of a worsening pandemic, councillors are coming to grips with a steep drop in revenue from one of its key money-makers: the Toronto Parking Authority (TPA).
The agency was expected to chip in almost $60 million this year to city coffers. But steep drops in demand for parking downtown mean that amount has plummeted to just $4.1 million. And the amount it expects to contribute in 2021? Zero.
Those numbers, however, don’t shock Coun. Brad Bradford, who represents Ward 19, Beaches-East York and sits on the TPA board.
No worries! Tory will raise taxes!

The details emerged as Iran held a funeral for the slain scientist, known as the father of the country’s nuclear programme, in Tehran on Monday – where leaders continued to vow revenge for his killing.

Australia Calls For Mass Murdering Communist Chinese Regime To Remove Afghan Atrocity Poster

Beijing has rejected calls for an apology after a Chinese official shared a doctored poster of an Australian soldier attacking an Afghan girl, urging Canberra to instead seek forgiveness for its alleged war crimes in Afghanistan.

Government sources have told CBC News the plan will include new but time-limited spending measures to support hard-hit industries and vulnerable Canadians, while laying the groundwork for the policy priorities presented in September’s speech from the throne.
Judge Blocks, Then Unblocks Georgia From Wiping or Resetting Election Machines

A federal judge presiding over a major election lawsuit in Georgia on Nov. 29 issued and then reversed an order directing the state to cease and desist wiping or resetting election machines.
“Defendants are ordered to maintain the status quo & are temporarily enjoined from wiping or resetting any voting machines in the State of Georgia until further order of the court,” U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten Sr. wrote in an emergency order issued Nov. 29.
The judge reversed the order not long after, explaining that the defendants aren’t in possession of the machines.

Adamson BBQ Protest Is White Privilege In Action Say Usual Whiny Race Baiters
A good illustration of the concept of white privilege is how we talk about people who are angry at the status quo.
On Tuesday, a white Toronto restaurant owner named Adam Skelly decided he was angry about Ontario’s lockdown rules. Lots of small business owners were, as it meant a big hit to their financial wellbeing, during a time when many were already struggling.
But, rather than pivoting to a takeout or delivery model, or organizing to lobby the government to change its rules, Skelly decided the law was wrong and he was right, so he would just ignore the rules and open his Etobicoke restaurant for indoor dining anyway.
It’s getting easier to see the real racists nowadays so there’s that.
