WARMINGTON: Cut the fat before hitting taxpayers to shelter asylum seekers

Mayor Olivia Chow has not offered to trim any of her salary to pay for people without residency status in Toronto.

Or vowed to no longer go on expensive trade missions abroad or pledge millions to pay for soccer games featuring millionaire soccer players inside a business worth billions.

Chow wants you to pay.

Canada Needs a Mandatory National Service

Our country can’t defend itself, and citizens aren’t patriotic enough to step up. It’s time to change that.

I joined the military at the age of 18, right out of high school. My parents were working class and couldn’t afford to pay my university tuition, so although I was accepted to several good schools, I chose the Royal Military College of Canada, where I’d be considered part of the military and receive an annual salary. During the academic year, our job was to study. Then in the summer, we did military training. We graduated as second lieutenants—entry-level officers—and then did four years of military service.

Canada couldn’t defend itself from an uprising by 3rd World TFW’s and Illegals.

Can you imagine  young men and women answering a call to arms by a sham state that has destroyed all hope they may once have held for a decent future?

The Social Contract in Canada is broken and likely impossible to repair.

Our elites betrayed us and I can’t see anyone being convinced to defend Ottawa’s luxury values.

“Enough Is Enough”: Outcry Over Muslim Holiday Pact

A new agreement granting Muslims in Schleswig-Holstein two additional public holidays has triggered sharp criticism from opposition parties, who warn that the move risks privileging one faith community and sidelining broader concerns over integration.

Last week, the state government signed a treaty with the Northern German Association of Islamic Cultural Centres (VIKZ). The agreement allows Muslim officials, employees, and pupils to take time off on the first day of Ramadan and on Eid al-Adha.

GM is moving production from Oshawa to Indiana. Here’s what they’re saying across the border

Rich LeTourneau is blunt as he sets down his beer on the union hall bar, located just a stone’s throw away from the General Motors plant in Fort Wayne, Ind. where he’s put in 38 years.

“I respect Canadian unions, I respect the Mexican union. We didn’t raise our hand and say … ‘I’ll take what you guys got.’ That decision was made way above our head,” he told CBC News.

“But when the company comes to me to increase volume, I’m not gonna tell them no, either, because it’s job security for my people, and hell, if I can corner the market, I will.”

Could be some job openings …

Trump gives Hamas ‘three or four days’ to accept Gaza peace plan

President Trump has said he will give Hamas “three or four days” to accept a US-brokered plan to end the war in Gaza after the Israeli prime minister agreed to the proposal.

Speaking a day after announcing that he was close to achieving “eternal peace in the Middle East”, the US president suggested on Tuesday he would “let Israel go and do what they have to do” if Hamas rejected the terms.

Jewish diaspora should brace for antisemitism after Hamas decides on Trump deal, rabbi says

Whether or not Hamas accepts a new proposal to end the war in Gaza, the Jewish diaspora should brace for antisemitism “for at least some time,” says a top American rabbi.

Antisemitism is a “behemoth backed by all sorts of nefarious types,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, an associate dean and director of global social action at Jewish human rights activist organization, Simon Wiesenthal Center.

I can’t see Hamas signing on, at least not in good faith.

Britain Is Turning Its Back On Western Civilization

A recent news article about Britain’s National Health Service managed, in a few lines, to capture just how dire the situation is in that country and how divorced from reality its political leadership has become.

The article was about guidance the NHS published recently, “extolling the benefits of first-cousin marriage despite the increased risk of birth defects.” Defying both modern science and the traditions of western civilization, the NHS England’s Genomics Education Programme seemed to endorse incest, saying first-cousin marriage is linked to “stronger extended family support systems and economic advantages.”
