Islamism-Infected Town Vies To Become EU Cultural Capital in 2030

The Belgian municipality of Molenbeek, a town in the greater Brussels area, is organizing Molenfest 2025 as a run-up for their bid to become one of the EU’s cultural capitals in 2030 (ECOC30).

The festival celebrates the diversity of the town’s population (140 nationalities make up the almost 100 thousand inhabitants), but many now dare ask the question whether that is a good thing.

Demented Deviants in Liberal government ‘monitoring’ Alberta law banning trans athletes from female sports

Party Time For Our Pervert PM.

OTTAWA — Liberals say they’re keeping a close eye on the rollout of a new Alberta law that prohibits transgender athletes from competing in female-only athletic divisions.

“Our government believes in a sport system that provides opportunities for all Canadians to participate and excel in sport, including the transgender community. This means a sports system that is welcoming, inclusive, safe, fair, rooted in good governance and operations,” Alyson Fair, a spokesperson for Secretary of State for Sport Adam van Koeverden, said in an email.

Absolutely clueless Doug Ford tells unemployed young people seeking work to look harder

Young people who can’t find work aren’t looking “hard enough,” Premier Doug Ford said Tuesday, less than a week after Statistics Canada reported Ontario shed 26,000 jobs in August — the most of any province.

The remarks during a breakfast speech to the Toronto Region Board of Trade earned the premier rebukes from opposition party leaders, who accused him of being out of touch with a tough job market as U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs take a toll on the economy.

“It drives me nuts when I see young, healthy people and they’ll call me saying, ‘I can’t find a job,’” Ford told the crowd. “I assure you, if you look hard enough, it … may be in fast food or something else, but you’ll find a job.”

What a pig.

MCTEAGUE: Mark Carney should have pulled the plug on the EV fantasy

In what may be the least shocking political news of the year, this past Friday the Carney government announced a twelve month pause to the Electric Vehicle (EV) mandate, which had been set to go into effect this coming January. (Or, as they put it in their obnoxious public policy-speak, they plan to “give the auto sector flexibility by waiving 2026 model vehicles from Electric Vehicle Availability Standard requirements.”)

Well, of course they did! As I’ve pointed out, time and time again, the Liberal’s EV mandate isn’t just a gross violation of our freedom that will make our lives harder and more expensive. It is also completely and utterly unworkable!

Poll: Young leftist women (that is, most young women) reject marriage and children

For people who are selfish and immature (as I was throughout my 20s), one of the best things about having children, provided you’re not insane or suffering from a personality disorder, is that it forces you to extend your world beyond your own boundaries. Suddenly, these tiny lives have needs much greater than yours, and making the world a better place extends beyond your lifespan and into your descendants’ futures.

Microsoft Under Siege

Pro-Palestinian activists are disrupting one of America’s most powerful tech giants.

Pro-Palestinian activists have found a new target: Microsoft. Radicals have disrupted the company’s keynote speech; organized encampments and other demonstrations at its headquarters; sent a kayak “flotilla” to the homes of Microsoft executives; and staged an “occupation” of Microsoft president Brad Smith’s office, where they allegedly tried to plant listening devices.

The leader of the campaign is No Azure for Apartheid, a group of current and former Microsoft employees. The group, whose name references the company’s cloud-computing platform, has called on Microsoft to terminate its Azure contracts with the Israeli government, publicly endorse a ceasefire, pay reparations to Palestinians, and “ensure the safety of Palestinian, Arab, Muslim and allied employees.”

Toronto is on pace for its lowest annual housing starts in 30 years, CMHC says

Toronto’s homebuilding activity in the first half of 2025 was the lowest on a per-capita basis since 1996, according to a new report from Canada’s national housing agency.

The drop was driven by a 60 per cent year-over-year decrease in condo starts, the new “Housing Supply Report” by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. (CMHC) found.

”A pullback in investor demand during the first half of 2025 reduced project feasibility, leading to cancellations, delays, and a sharp drop in construction,” the report said, adding that many industry actors are calling for reduced construction costs and development charges.

The Cowardice of Malcolm Gladwell

Now that trans ideology is past its peak, the gutless author changes his tune.

On a recent episode of a podcast called “The Real Science of Sport,” the writer Malcolm Gladwell admitted that on a 2022 panel at MIT, he’d expressed support for the practice of allowing “trans women” to compete in women’s sports when in fact he didn’t really support it at all. In fact he believed the exact opposite. Why, then, had he dissembled? Because, he said, he was “cowed.”

Canada’s War on Racist Cameras

As I reported yesterday, DEI Mayor Vi of Charlotte, N.C., praised the city’s “media partners” for not showing the video of the brutal murder of a 23-year-old young woman at the hands of a career criminal on public transit, on the grounds that depicting reality would potentially create awareness of said reality, which the governing authorities find inconvenient. “I want to thank our media partners and community members who have chosen not to repost or share the footage out of respect for Iryna’s family,” stated Vi.

At least nine pigs’ heads found outside mosques in Paris region

At least nine pigs’ heads were found outside several mosques in the Paris region on Tuesday, the city’s police chief said, prompting alarm over rising anti-Muslim hatred.

“Pigs’ heads have been left in front of certain mosques … Four in Paris and five in the inner suburbs,” Laurent Nuñez told a press conference, adding that officers were not “ruling out the possibility of finding more”.

Police have opened an investigation into incitement to hatred aggravated by racial or religious discrimination, Nuñez said, calling the acts “despicable”.

Britain’s campaign against slavery was expensive in both lives and money

There was a time when the better off flaunted their status by buying mansions, driving fancy cars, and wearing top hats. Today privilege is commonly assumed to be shameful. Western elites now prefer to sport superior moral status by championing fashionable “progressive” causes. These are “luxury beliefs” because they cost the elites nothing, while costing others a lot. One such cause is that of “decolonisation”, which defames Britain’s four-hundred years of colonial endeavour as a simple litany of racism, exploitation, and oppression – of which slavery is the epitome.

BC mother barred from school after Facebook post criticizing transgender pride symbol

The Nanaimo-Ladysmith School District has barred a mother from entering school property after officials said she posted material on Facebook that put a staff member at risk and violated district policies.

Byrony Dixon, whose son attends a local middle school, shared a photo on Facebook on Sept. 2 of a teacher wearing a transgender pride flag shirt.

The B.C. shipbuilding controversy exposes Canada’s shortcomings as a country

When we last left the decision by BC Ferries to award a contract to build four new vessels in its fleet to a Chinese shipbuilder, politicians of all persuasions couldn’t denounce the move vigorously enough.

It was a scandal, we were assured. The federal Conservatives decried the fact we were off-shoring jobs to an adversary. (Who is going to tell them that China is our second-largest trading partner and our exports help feed their people?)
