DOBBIE: The underlying arrogance of the socialist belief system

Not only is the concept of socialism flawed due to natural law that demands the survival of the fittest in order to guarantee the future of life, it confers a contradictory elite status on those chosen to decide what is best for the millions.

This school of thought claims to be all about “equality” but is blind to the reality that when you force “equality” on another it frequently reduces society’s ability to do what all life demands — to continually improve the species, making it stronger and more resilient.

The Weird Rise of American ‘Refugees’

The wokest and most delusional of U.S. citizens are fleeing to Europe, convinced that Trump has turned America into a transphobic, misogynistic dictatorship.

Finally, Europe has found a group of refugees who aren’t welcome—Americans.

As reported by Reuters this week, there is a small but growing number of U.S. citizens attempting to claim asylum in Europe, on the grounds that they are transgender. One such individual is Veronica Clifford-Carlos, a 28-year-old artist from San Francisco, who left the U.S. in June this year, hoping to be granted refugee status in the Netherlands. Clifford-Carlos claimed that the U.S. is no longer safe for trans people, and that “I have people screaming ‘faggot’ at me in the street … I have people threatening my life, threatening to assault me, threatening to follow me home and kill my family.”

BARCLAY: The destabilizing effects of Liberal migration policies in Canada

When diversity becomes dogma. The policies driving Canada toward decline.

For nearly a decade, the Liberal government has imposed a bevy of hyper-liberal migration policies upon the Canadian people, in an effort to forcibly inject abject diversity within the Canadian state.

Unfortunately, diversity is, at best, merely the symptom of a healthy, productive, state or nation, and never a viable end unto itself.

Carney’s $370M canola incentives are missing the mark, says industry group president

The president of the Canola Council of Canada says new funding announced this week by Prime Minister Mark Carney “misses the mark” on what the industry needs right now in the face of a steep Chinese tariff.

“We don’t believe there’s been proper recognition of extensive impacts on the rest of the canola value chain,” Chris Davison said on Rosemary Barton Live. “We have exporters and processors who have assets, facilities and infrastructure that is under duress right now.”

He added: “And there was nothing specifically that was speaking to that.”

Middle England is radicalising, and the rest of the world is watching

For many protesters in York and Leeds, waving the national flag is not a mark of extremism. They simply want to keep their communities safe

York has long been defined by postcard charm. Cobbled streets, medieval walls, a bustling university and steady tourist influx made it a place associated with heritage and Harry Potter, not hard politics. But York has now become a battle ground for Britain’s growing migration debate, overwriting the city’s storybook image. What was once a byword for stability now reads as a warning: Middle England is learning the politics of confrontation.

Barbara Kay: Revolt, parents, and save our schools

Abraham Lincoln famously said, “The philosophy of the classroom in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next.” Truer words were never spoken.

The Ontario education system is in free fall. For the past 20 years, education policies infused by Marxist theories that had been incubating for decades in the universities, then floridly realized in practice, have resulted in tripartite failure: failure to provide effective pedagogy; failure to provide a psychologically safe environment for politically incorrect identity groups; and failure to protect both children and teachers from physical abuse. The situation is dire.

Canada’s immigration consensus is shattering. Here’s why

A long-standing political consensus in Canada is breaking down before our eyes. For decades, immigration policy was a rare point of agreement among the major parties, characterized by a shared commitment to high levels of permanent, citizenship-focused immigration. But that era is over. The catalyst for this rupture is the massive expansion of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), a policy that has now become a flashpoint for debates about economic fairness, corporate power, and the very meaning of Canadian values.

Trump-Era Task Force Exposes Widespread Anti-Christian Bias Under Biden Administration

A federal task force established by President Donald Trump has released its first findings, revealing what it describes as systemic government hostility toward Christians during former President Joe Biden’s presidency.

The Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, chaired by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, outlined in its preliminary report a pattern of federal agencies targeting people of faith, especially Christians, through regulatory overreach, selective enforcement, and outright discrimination. The report is based on investigations and case studies collected over the past several months.

PETER HITCHENS: We’re not being told the truth about Ukraine. This was the moment the mask slipped and I saw why the elites want to wage this hideous war for ever…

It looks as if the war in Ukraine will go on for many years to come. And this will not be an accident. It may even be what the West secretly wants. We know this from an startling remark on Friday by Tony Radakin, the interesting lawyer who has just stepped down as head of Britain’s Armed Forces.

Sir Tony gave an unwise interview with the BBC’s impossibly grand Nick Robinson, a man so unclued–up on foreign affairs that he actually referred to the Russian army as the ‘Red Army’, as if Soviet Communism had not collapsed 34 years ago.

Admiral Radakin would not have made such a mistake. He is right at the top of Britain’s defence policy elite. Not only does he have a law degree. He qualified as a barrister and then collected an MA in international relations and defence studies, while serving in the Navy. Indeed, he studied so hard it is amazing that he found time to go to sea. Yet he did. And he became the ruler of the King’s Navy.

The Iron Mukluk Comes Down in Canada

Sean Feucht, an American Christian conservative Trump-supporting rocker, had Canadian concerts banned from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. And Montreal is actually fining a church $2500 for having the “audacity” to host one of his events. Those who find Feucht “offensive” are always free not to attend his performances. But show some basic decency to others who might wish to hear him. Live and let live. Leave others alone and respect their right to do as they please, just as they must respect your personal freedoms.
