Black Comedian Paints Himself White, Goes to NASCAR

But doesn’t find what he expects.

So, apparently, there is a black comedian out there named Druski (whose given name is Andrew Desbordes) who is turning a lot of heads these days with a video of himself not just in whiteface, but with the whole of his upper body painted white, complete with a farmer’s tan sunburn and tattoos. It’s a total hoot until you start paying attention to what is going on.

The Jews’ coming civil war

The majority are battling ultra-nationalists to their right and Israel-hating ‘progressives’ to their left.

Whether right or left, Muslim or Christian, anti-Semites speak of Jews as people who pull the strings in culture, politics and especially finance. They assume we are all united in this conspiracy. In reality, not only is there no conspiracy, we Jews are also as divided among ourselves as any other people.

Conrad Black: The derangement over Trump marches on

Andrew Coyne is an intelligent man and a victim of the recently discovered mental affliction which is caused by the lawful elevation of Donald J. Trump to the office of President of the United States twice. Unfortunately, Andrew’s column in the Globe and Mail on Aug. 29 is demented rubbish. He wrote that “the dictatorship of Donald Trump is no longer a theoretical possibility or even a distant probability. It is an imminent reality.” He accuses Trump of accumulating powers “illegally, in brazen defiance of the Constitution.” He cites the appropriately approved addition of a ballroom to the White House as indicative of his determination to remain there after the end of his term, and suggested he might simply remain in the White House, either having taken it upon himself to cancel the 2028 presidential election, or to allow it to proceed and ignore its results, both of which he would be able to do, despite the post-Roosevelt prohibition of a third term as president, because the senior officials of the armed forces at that point will be his appointees. He concludes: “That Mr. Trump is bent on making himself dictator is no longer in doubt.” It is well-established that the U.S. has a non-political military.

The Billionaires Fueling the Quest for Longer Life

How much would you invest in the possibility of living to 150 or beyond? Or having 20 extra healthy years?

For the ultrawealthy, it’s more than $5 billion over the past 2½ decades, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of longevity investment deals in PitchBook, public company statements and regulatory filings.

Silicon Valley giants Peter Thiel, Sam Altman, Yuri Milner and Marc Andreessen are among the boldface names behind the influx of money in the longevity industry. Thiel’s quest for longer life spans nearly a dozen companies—some of which were funded by his venture firm and others by a nonprofit foundation he backed—that raised more than $700 million, according to the Journal’s analysis.

What’s the Deal with U.F.O.s?

Scientists consider whether we’ve been visited by aliens or their technology.

When I was growing up, I watched a lot of sci-fi movies about aliens that come to Earth. The extraterrestrials in popular culture, however, always looked so familiar that I found them far-fetched. What are the chances that E.T., the Predator, or ALF would develop arms and legs, a humanlike face, and opposable thumbs? Perhaps as a result, I associated alien life more with fantasy than with science, and I never gave much thought to what a visit would really look like. But my attitude started to change in 2020, when I read Liu Cixin’s “The Three-Body Problem” and its two sequels. In Liu’s books, creatures called Trisolarans send a scouting mission of supercomputers to spy on and subtly disrupt human affairs. Although Trisolarans could do seemingly impossible things, such as program protons, Liu’s rigor got me thinking about aliens from a scientific perspective. Suddenly, I could imagine a sophisticated civilization coming into contact with humanity, perhaps in ways that we don’t immediately understand.

Not a bad piece by the New Yorker. We’ll see if the on again off again Sept 9 congressional hearing offers more than the usual vague findings.

Ontario MP Jamil Jivani slams Ford’s leadership: ‘No ideology, just staying in power”

Bowmanville–Oshawa North MP Jamil Jivani used a conservative conference in Calgary to sharply criticize Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s leadership, arguing that Ford’s focus on power over principle risks fueling public cynicism and undermining federal Conservatives.

Speaking on a panel at the Canada Strong and Free Conference in Calgary, moderated by Western Standard publisher Derek Fildebrandt, Jivani accused Ford of treating politics primarily as a means of staying in office rather than advancing ideas or values.

Without a deal with Trump, Carney rolls out responses for an economic rupture

When Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a package of industrial supports, retooling for industries hit by tariffs and employment insurance expansions on Friday, there was a subtext: Don’t count on relief from U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade war any time soon.

Mr. Carney had declared in March that the old relationship with the United States is over. On Friday, he was telling Canadians it’s time to get ready for disruption.

“What’s going on is not a transition, it’s a rupture, and its effect will be profound,” the Prime Minister said in a speech at an aircraft plant in Mississauga, Ont.

I believe Carney wanted the rupture all along.

Ukraine’s Foreign Legion was doomed from the start

It seems that people would rather fight for a death cult than a democracy. At most, 15,000 foreigners have fought in Ukraine over the past three years. By contrast, an estimated 35,000 foreign fighters joined Islamic State, despite the risk of prosecution when they returned home.

Why have so few westerners joined up, given that Ukraine’s Polish border is just a £50 Ryanair flight away? The answer is that despite having a master showman like Volodymyr Zelensky as its recruiting sergeant, Ukraine’s International Legion was a disorganised shambles from the start. Zelensky announced the Legion’s creation just three days into the invasion. ‘This is the beginning of a war against Europe,’ he said, ‘against democracy, against basic human rights.’ But behind the scenes, his generals had no way of putting his lofty language into action. Zelensky hadn’t even told them of his plan before the announcement.

Drama Queens: LGBTQ+ Americans consider move to Canada to escape Trump: ‘I’m afraid of living here’

Mark Carney and his side piece. His “legal” wife should be worried.

The number of LGBTQ+ Americans inquiring about moving to Canada has soared since Donald Trump’s re-election, campaigners have said, as people across the US wrestle with the fallout of rising anti-gay rhetoric, anti-trans executive orders, and the more than 600 bills targeting LGBTQ+ rights.

“So much is happening in the US right now and a lot of it is terrifying,” said Latoya Nugent of Rainbow Railroad, a North American charity that helps LGBTQI+ individuals escape violence and persecution in their home countries.

In the first eight months of this year, the organisation has received 4,197 calls from people living in the US – a surge of 760% compared with the same period last year. “The overwhelming majority of individuals who are reaching out want support with international relocation, which translates to ‘I want to get out of the US because I’m afraid of living here,’” said Nugent.

The only people putting anyone’s life in danger are Mass Shooter Trannies.

‘Generation screwed’: With the dismal youth employment numbers, Poilievre found a wide-open lane and pulled in

Being leader of the opposition is a little like being stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the 401.

You’re boxed in. Options are limited. And any “creative” manoeuvres usually lead to pileups.

So when a lane opens up — a clear stretch of political laneway — you don’t ask questions. You step on the gas.

The Elbow people in voting LPC and NDP destroyed their own children’s future by supporting Corporate Canada’s callous greed and abuse of immigration.

The End of Catholic Europe?

Europe must return to the Catholic Faith, abandon its postliberal progressivism, and once again embrace its Catholic identity.

Over the course of his life, English author and Catholic convert Evelyn Waugh insisted that the Catholic Faith is fundamental to the identity of Europe. A seasoned travel writer, war correspondent, and World War II veteran, Waugh had traveled across much of Europe and seen the damage done by various anti-Christian philosophies, ideologies, and movements. In 1939, on the eve of the Second World War, he wrote, “The history of Europe is the history of the Church; the two are inseparable.”

Liberal media ‘covering up’ Ukrainian girl’s brutal murder in Dem-led city as video explodes online

Horrific footage of a career criminal stabbing a Ukrainian refugee from behind on a North Carolina train has prompted a national uproar – but you won’t find it on any liberal media websites.

Recently surfaced surveillance footage shows the suspect, who police have named as Decarlos Brown Jr., 35, killing Iryna Zarutska, 23, on board a South End light rail train in Charlotte on August 22.

The crazed attacker can be seen lunging at Zarutska from behind, before the footage skips the graphic slaughter to show him carrying a knife dripping with blood as he walked through the train carriage and another passenger sprinted away.

Cancelling EV sales mandate a sign of much bigger problems for taxpayers

Prime Minister Mark Carney was right to kill his government’s mandate that 20% of all new car sales in Canada had to be zero emissions vehicles starting next year – current sales are less than half that – but that’s just the tip of the iceberg of the problem.

The bigger problem is that, according to the Parliamentary Budget Office, Canada’s federal and provincial governments – mainly Ontario and Quebec – have earmarked up to $52.5 billion to subsidize 13 major Electric Vehicle supply chain projects, 14% more than the $46.1 billion the EV industry in Canada is spending on itself.
