Most dangerous US cities to live… and they all have one common denominator

The five most dangerous cities in the United States have been revealed – and they are all run by Democrats.

Memphis, Tennessee, has been ranked as America’s most dangerous city in a report by US News and World Report, as its unemployment rate remains higher than average and household median incomes sit more than $26,000 below the national average.

The report determined the city’s danger levels based on ‘each city’s murder and property crime rates per 100,000 people’ obtained through FBI crime reports.

The Death of the Night Out

Generation Z is often maligned as a ‘homebody generation.’ Battered by the rising cost of living and stunted by the COVID-19 pandemic, today’s youth would seemingly rather sit at home, scrolling and focussing on ‘self-care’ than socialising with friends. They prefer matcha lattes and Pilates to wild nights out.

The impact of this is being felt across Western Europe. In France, 70% of nightclubs have shut down since the 1980s. In Amsterdam and Barcelona, venues are calling last orders much earlier than they used to. And in formerly lively Berlin, you’re now just as likely to get chucked out at 10 p.m. as 4 a.m. The UK, too, has lost around 400 clubs—more than a third—in the last five years alone. In London specifically, a city once world-renowned for its vibrant nightlife and music scene, just 6% of venues open past 2 a.m.

Military to spend over $100,000 on personality training

The Department of National Defence is spending $114,200 on a sole-sourced contract for psychometric training aimed at helping Canadian Armed Forces leaders “understand their core emotional motivations and fears.”

The work was awarded to Integrative Enneagram Solutions Ltd., a London-based consultant whose offerings also include workshops on self-esteem and romantic relationships.

Will they ever get round to being a real army as opposed to a woke therapy clinic?

Court ruling on Indigenous claim creates uncertainty around land ownership

On a stretch of the south arm of the Fraser River, in the Vancouver area, the Cowichan Tribes in centuries past had an annual summer fishing village, a place they defended with a warrior ethos against other Indigenous groups.

But in the mid-1800s, the Cowichan – whose home territory is on Vancouver Island – were displaced from that village as the British took control and, after British Columbia joined Canada, the land was sold over the years.

Today, the land is occupied by an array of owners. Part of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority and other industrial operations are there. There’s a golf course and private homes with small farms, along with a span of infrastructure such as roads and dikes. In a Globe and Mail analysis of property assessments, land and buildings in the area are worth more than $1.3-billion.

It’s an insane ruling.

Russia Hoax Charges — The Coming Democrat Trials

These rascals have violated every law and every standard of decency, all while scolding us for our lack of refinement.

Long following — and long suffering — consumers of political news who lean Republican suffer from chronic pessimism. This may or may not be through fault of theirs, but the syndrome itself is too widespread to be deniable.

It works like this. If Democrats are in power and they announce an “investigation” of Republicans, we may rest assured those Repubs will be broke and broken at the end of the process.

Christine Van Geyn: Letting safety override freedom makes us all ‘pre-criminals’

In Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report, set in 2054, crime has been eliminated thanks to psychics who predict wrongdoing before it happens. “Pre-criminals” are arrested for “Pre-crimes” they haven’t committed. But the visions are flawed and open to manipulation. The dark side of “pre-crime” is totalitarianism disguised as public safety. The film is a timeless warning about the tension between liberty and security.

Stick a fork in ‘Elbows Up’

“Elbows Up” hasn’t been Prime Minister Mark Carney’s approach to dealing with U.S. President Donald Trump on tariffs ever since he won the April election and it’s time to consign the phrase to the dustbin of history.

While Carney advocated dollar-for-dollar tariffs against the U.S. during the Liberal leadership race, he quickly jettisoned the idea on becoming prime minister.

There Goes The West

President Donald Trump has told Canada that if it recognizes Palestine as a state, it’s jeopardizing a trade pact with the U.S. The threat is more than leverage for talks. It’s a reminder that the West is giving up on civilization and needs to be rousted from its slumber.

“Canada has just announced that it is backing statehood for Palestine,” Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social. “That will make it very hard for us to make a trade deal with them.”

Trump’s Proposed Easing of Federal Restrictions on Marijuana Would Be a Mistake

President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that his administration will decide “over the next few weeks” whether to ease federal restrictions on marijuana. While cannabis companies have put aggressive pressure on the president to reclassify the drug, doing so would be a deadly mistake.

First, some background. The Controlled Substances Act authorizes the federal government to place drugs in one of five schedules, each of which imposes restrictions and penalties based on a drug’s potential for abuse. Schedule I, where marijuana is currently listed, contains substances with no accepted medical use and a high risk of abuse.

WARMINGTON: Canadian flag removal for Pride flag at PM Justin The 2nd’s office raises questions

The Canadian flag being removed from the front entrance of the Prime Minister’s Office in Ottawa and replaced with the intersex-inclusive Pride flag raised eyebrows of people walking by Friday.

As captured in video by Dacey Media, you can hear some expressing displeasure as crews on top of a small construction lift on the back of a truck, took down the Maple Leaf on a small flagpole and replaced it with the multi-coloured flag.

Here We Go Again – The West’s Palestinian State Fantasy

A majority of Western leaders clearly refuse to exercise integrity when it concerns the Palestinian issue. Only leaders completely sold out to extremist ideologies would persist in pushing a proposal so far detached from reality and so harmful to many people — starting with the atrociously governed Palestinians — that it is almost beyond comprehension. Perhaps this phenomena is best described as a “cognitive bias” that can “lead to a person interpreting all new information as supporting their preconception.”

Lawyer ‘very confident’ a foreign adversary attacked Canadian diplomats in Cuba

OTTAWA – A lawyer for Canadian diplomats and their families says he believes the mysterious ailments they suffered in Cuba were caused by a foreign adversary, despite a federal government report that dismisses the theory.

Eight years after foreign service officials and their dependants began reporting such symptoms as headaches, memory loss, mood changes, vision problems, nausea and nosebleeds, a legal action against Ottawa over the health problems is still grinding along in Federal Court.

Trump administration weighing refugee cap of 40,000 with focus on white South Africans

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration is discussing a refugee admissions cap of around 40,000 for the coming year with a majority allocated to white South Africans, according to two U.S. officials briefed on the matter and an internal refugee program email, reflecting a major shift in the U.S. approach to refugees.

We need a Trump. Why can’t Canada stop being run by Marxist crooks and lunatics?
