Adam Pankratz: How long until anti-oil art vandalism turns to real violence?

Two entitled Stop Oil activists continued the group’s cunning plan to draw attention to our fossil fuel dependence by vandalizing a priceless Vermeer, last week. The video, captured at the museum in The Hague, includes one of the protesters trying to glue his head to the painting, while another poured a can of tomato soup on him. The reaction of the museum visitors demonstrates just how well the message of the climate crusaders is landing: cries of “stupid,” “shame,” and “obscene,” along with an admonition for the perpetrators to “shut the f— up” can be heard from those witnessing the act. While I won’t explicitly endorse vulgarity and insult, I must say that my sympathies here lie unequivocally with the appalled bystanders.

Already has in Canada. and still no arrests I am aware of in the Coastal GasLink terror attack.
